Kerri Allison
Kerri Elizabeth Allison, 3 ˝ year old daughter of Drew and Julie (Dills) Allison, died unexpectedly in Greenville, South Carolina on November 15, 2001, besides her parents, Kerri is survived by her grandparents, Kerry and Carole Allison, Sussex, NB and James and Genell Dills, Salem, S.C. A “Celebration of Kerri’s life” was held at Trinity Wesleyan Church on November 18th with burial at Stamp Creek Baptist Church in Salem, S.C.
As an expression of sympathy donations may be given to IWK or Gideon Bibles.
Richard "Dick" Oswald Doncaster
April 12, 1910 - November 24, 2002
Mr. Richard "Dick" Oswald Doncaster, of 1103 Main Street, Sussex Corner, NB passed away at Sussex Health Centre on November 24, 2002.
Born in Amherst NS on April 12, 1910, Dick was the son of the late Clement Oswald and Annie V. (Crowell) Doncaster. He was the beloved husband of the late Mary E. (Webster) Doncaster who passed away in 1980, and is survived by his daughter Shirley McShane of Sussex Corner, his son Charles (Chuck) and his wife Margaret of Calgary, 7 grandchildren; Michele McShane and her husband Patrice Gagnon, Anne, Ted and Frank McShane, Kelly Wutzke and her husband Chris, Jody O'Neail and her husband Eugene and Richard Doncaster, 5 great grandchildren; Alex, Lauren, Dilan, Isabelle and Sophie several nieces and nephews.
Dick was the last surviving member of his immediate family, he was predeceased by 3 brothers Ken, Ernest, Arden and by 3 sisters Hazel, Florence and Louise.
Dick served overseas during World War II in the Canadian Army. He retired in 1971 as a civil servant at Camp Gagetown. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Sussex Branch # 20, a former member of Fownes Lodge F&AM. Dick was former Mayor of the Village of Sussex Corner from 1974-1986. He sat on the Board of Directors for the Sussex Health Centre for several years and was chairperson from 1981- 1984. In earlier years he was actively involved with the Sussex Corner Boy Scouts, Sunday School Superintendent and Coached Sussex Corner Rovers Hockey team.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where the family will be receiving relatives and friends on Friday 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Zion Lodge F&AM will hold a Masonic Tribute Friday at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home, followed by a Tribute at 6:45 p.m. by the Royal Canadian Legion Sussex Branch # 20.
The Funeral Service will be held from St. John's United Church on Saturday, November 30, 2002 at 11:00 am, with Rev. Gene Fisher officiating. With the interment to follow at Midland Cemetery.
Donations made to St. John's United Church, The Sussex Health Centre or to the memorial of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
Helen “Margaret” Connell
Helen “Margaret” Connell, of Cumberland Bay, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on November 14, 2002. Born in Codys on May 1, 1916, Margaret was the daughter of the late Harry and Etta (Roberts) Somerville.
Margaret married Gerald Connell on June 29th, 1940 together they had two daughters, Peggy Landry and her husband John of Cumberland Bay, Linda Evanczyk and her husband Bryan of Oneonta, NY, her sister, Emma London of Cody's, three Grandchildren, John Landry and his wife Heather of Fredericton, Dr. Gerald Landry and his wife Colette of Coopers Town, NY and Ryan Evanczyk of Evergreen, Colorado, four Great Grandchildren, Sally, Jane, Joaquim and Genevieve, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Margaret was predeceased by her sisters, Betty, Charlotte and Mary.
She attended Normal School in Fredericton in 1933 and taught school in various locations in Queens and Kings County. She was a gifted teacher and had a way of bringing out the best in her students with her genuine concern and interest in them.
Margaret was a life member of Cody's Womens Institute. She was a member of the Cody's United Baptist Church Ladies Aid and the Church Choir. She was also a member of the Gloria Dei Singers and the New Brunswick Retired Teachers Association.
Margaret loved her family and friends and made time to enjoy the flowers and plants that she loved.

The Funeral Service will be held from First Grand Lake United Baptist Church on Saturday, November 16, 2002 at 1:00 pm, with Rev. Hazen Ricker officiating. Interment at Coles Island Cemetery.

Murray Allan Raymond
Murray Allan Raymond, of Searsville, passed away unexpectedly, on August 3, 2003, at the age of 38 years.
Born in Sussex, NB on May 4, 1965, he was the son of Arthur Albert and Laurine Joan (Smith) Raymond.
Murray is survived by his parents, 3 sisters, Joan and Frank Gleboff of British Columbia, Linda Raymond-Hagen and Nevin of Alberta, Carole of Ontario, 6 brothers, Kennie of Searsville, Gordie and Allyson of Searsville, Kevin and Kelly of Parleeville, Doug and Tracy of Searsville, Glen and Diana of Salisbury, Jamie and Guylaine of Belleisle, as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Murray graduated from Belleisle Regional High School in 1984. During Murray’s lifetime he worked at farming, logging, mining and trucking. Murray's favorite past time was driving his Harley and looking for his lady love!! Murray always had time for Family and Friends and was noted for his easy smile and jolly laugh. He was a short man with a big heart.

The Funeral Service will be held from the Church of the Ascension on Thursday, August 7, 2003 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Leo Martin officiating.
A private family burial will be held at a later date at the Church of the Ascension Church Cemetery.
Jean Elizabeth Anderson
Mrs. Jean Elizabeth Anderson, of 9 Barbara Drive, Sussex Corner, NB, passed away at Sussex Health Centre on November 25, 2003 at the age of 87. She was born in Cornhill NB on August 8, 1916, the daughter of the late R. Fred and Cora (Hunt) Pickett, and the beloved wife of the late James Nelson Anderson who passed away in 1996.
Jean is survived by her daughter Phyllis Crowe and her husband Harold of Newtown, 2 sons Bob and his wife Gib of North Lake, Allison and wife Brenda of Sussex Corner, daughter-in-law Pat Anderson-King of Smith Creek 12 Grandchildren; Sharon, Stewart, Laura, Danny, Susan, David, Scott, Corinne, Ginny, Dennis, Mark, Jimmy, 11 great grandchildren; Terra, Cameron, Sydney, Rachel, Emily, Jay, Lily, Belle, Blake, Ashley, Derek, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Jean was predeceased by her son Doug and 2 brothers Everett and Murray.
Jean loved to knit, sew and Quilt she was know for her beautiful baking and cooking she was a member of the Smith Creek United Church where she was a member of the Smith Creek Fidelity group and a former Sunday School Teacher, she was a former member of the Smith Creek Seniors and of the Millstream Valley LOBA # 1389.

Thelma M. Hilden
1925 - 2003
Mrs. Thelma M. Hilden, of Norton, passed away at her residence on December 2, 2003 at the age of 78 years. Born in Saint John, NB on May 26, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Roy Clarke and Susan (Coughlan) Clarke-Gallant and the beloved wife of the late Thaddeus Hilden who passed away in 1995.
Thelma is survived by her daughter, Irene Johnston and her husband Ronald of Lower Millstream, her son, Thaddeus and his wife Helen of Norton, 4 Grandchildren, Ronald and Tracy Johnston, Andrew and Shelly Hilden, 3 great grandchildren, Laynsha, Hayden and Shantalle, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Thelma was predeceased by her step-father Fred Gallant, and her granddaughter, Shawn- Marie.

The Funeral Service is from Wallace Memorial Chapel on Thursday, December 4, 2003 at 11:00 am with Pastor Harold Bubar officiating, with interment at Kirk Cemetery.

William "Willie" Patrice
1924-2011
NÉGUAC - At the Tabusintac nursing home in Tabusintac, peacefully surrounded by his nephews and nieces, on Sunday February 6, 2011, at the age of 86, passed away William "Willie" Patrice. He lived at the Tabusintac nursing home, but formerly in Néguac. Born June 16, 1924, he was the son of the late François Patrice and the late Marguerite Savoie.
He is survived by five sisters: Pauline Patrice of Village Saint-Laurent, Yvonne (Jeffrey Savoie) of Village Saint-Laurent, Argentina (Alphonse Breault), Louisa (late Marcel Robichaud) and Thérèse (Isaac McLaughlin), all of Néguac; his goddaughters: Rita, Rachel and Marie-Louise, as well as several nephews, nieces, cousins and cousins.
Four sisters: Annie, Marie, Rita and May in infancy; four brothers: Mathurin, Georges, Arthur in infancy and Léonard, as well as a godson, Cyrille, predeceased him.
The mortal remains are currently on display at Maison Robichaud & Fils, 50, rue Otho, in Néguac (info @ salonrobichaud. Com). The funeral will be held at Saint-Bernard de Néguac Church on Wednesday February 9 at 11 am.
Visiting hours: Tuesday, February 8, 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, February 9, 9:30 a.m. until departure for the funeral.
