Rosa Mallais

TRACADIE-SHEILA - At the Kings Way Care Center in Quispamsis, on Monday February 7, 2011, at the age of 82, passed away Rosa Mallais, wife of the late Maxime Mallais. She lived in Bloomfield, but formerly in Tracadie-Sheila. Born May 26, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Victor Savoie and the late Sara Richard.
She is survived by four daughters: Melvina (Wayne Harris) of Bloomfield, Jeannette (Kevin Thibodeau) of Quispamsis, Barbara (Elphège A. Roussel) of Le Goulet and Rhoda (Chuck Richardson) of Massachusetts; two sons: Wayne (Pauline) of Maisonnette and Simon Gautreau (Janice) of Bois-Blanc, as well as 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Five sisters: Zélia, Vénérante, Olive, Emma and Emily; one son, Victor; a grandson, Shawn, and a son-in-law, Conrad Roussel, predeceased her.
The mortal remains will be on display starting at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, February 10, at the Robichaud & Fils funeral home, 3875, rue Principale, in Tracadie-Sheila. The funeral will be held at Saint-Isidore Church in Saint-Isidore on Friday February 11 at 11 am.
Visiting hours: Thursday, February 10, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday, February 11, from 9:30 a.m. until departure for the funeral.
Willie McLaughlin
1916-2011
TRACADIE-SHEILA - At the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst, surrounded by his family, on Monday February 7, 2011, at the age of 95, passed away Willie McLaughlin, beloved husband of the late Lydia St-Pierre. He lived with the Robert Knowles Veterans Unit in Bathurst, but formerly in Tracadie-Sheila. Born February 3, 1916, he was the son of the late Jérémie McLaughlin and the late Alexandrine "Rina" Comeau.
He is survived by four daughters: Delcia (Emile Benoit) of Saint-Irénée, Denise (Guy Austin) of Tracadie-Sheila, Yvette (Gérald St-Pierre) of Moncton and Maria (Jano Roussel) of Sept-Îles; six sons: Denis (Danielle Ringuette) of Fredericton, Alyre (Yolande Brideau) of Pointe-à-Bouleau, Donald (Diane Pennell) of Bathurst, Martial (Diane Doucet) of Petit-Rocher, Cléo (Monique Bélanger) of Sept-Îles and Ronald (Olga Alvarez) of Toronto; one sister, Marie (late Théodore McGraw) of Tracadie-Sheila; 22 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, as well as several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins and cousins.
One son, Alyre; a grandson, Luc, as well as his brothers and sisters: Hélène Bulger, Alphé McLaughlin, Lise McLaughlin and John McLaughlin, predeceased him.
Mr. McLaughlin was a Second World War veteran.
Dianne Comeau
1950-2011
Surrounded by her family, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Monday February 7, 2011, at the age of 60, passed away Dianne Comeau, wife of Edgar Comeau. She lived in Fairisle. Born December 3, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Fidèle Bouchard and the late Amanda Caissie.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Joanne (Christian Richardson) of Beaverbrook; one son, Daniel (Lyne Savoie) of Fairisle; three grandchildren: Jessica, Meagan and Alexandre; three sisters: Annette (Laurent Girard), Marie-Marthe (Jean-Claude Morais) and Claudia (Herménigilde Robichaud); one brother-in-law, Edgar Vienneau (late Alcida); six brothers: Rhéal (Angélina), Louis (Lilianne), Jean-Guy (Bernadette), Claude (Célina), Yvon (Blanche) and Normand (Irma), as well as several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins.
A sister, Alcida, and a brother, Réjean, predeceased her.
At Ms. Comeau's request, there will be no salon visits or service.
Léodore Mallet
1927-2011
TRACADIE-SHEILA - Suddenly, on Wednesday February 9, 2011, at the age of 83, passed away Léodore Mallet, beloved husband of the late Ernestine McGraw. He lived in Tracadie-Sheila. Born September 8, 1927, he was the son of the late Joyeux Mallet and the late Irma Chiasson.
He is survived by two sons: Willard (Dorilla) of Saumarez and Florent of Calgary; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Côme (Margot), Alcide (Georgette), Eva (late Bertrand McGraw) and Flora (late Valère Richard); one brother, Germain (late Louise) of Kapuskasing, as well as several nephews, nieces, cousins and cousins.
A sister, Emma, and a brother, Joseph, predeceased him.
Mr. Mallet was a janitor at the W.-A.-Losier high school for nearly 25 years.
Léon Haché
1932-2011
ALLARDVILLE - At the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst, on Friday February 11, 2011, at the age of 78, passed away Léon Haché, husband of Simonne LeBouthillier. He lived in Allardville. Born August 27, 1932, he was the son of the late Joseph Haché and the late Béatrice Doucet.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Chantal (Ronald LeBlanc) of Petit-Rocher; four sons: Normand (Edith) of Rivière-à-la-Truite, Stéphane (Carole) of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, Rénald (Edith) of Lakeville and Marcel d´Allardville, with whom he lived; three sisters: Elizabeth Chiasson of Bathurst, Ida Chiasson of Petit-Rocher and Lina Duguay of Nigadoo; three brothers: Edouard (Démerise) of Saint-Mathias-sur-Richelieu, Jaddus (Estelle) of Petit-Rocher and Léonard (Aline) of Allardville; one uncle, Léonard Doucet (Elizabeth) of Montreal; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, as well as several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins and cousins.
Two brothers: Conrad and Howard, predeceased him.
The mortal remains will be on display starting at 2 p.m. on Monday February 14 at the Robichaud & Fils Funeral Home in Allardville. Funeral mass will be held at Christ-Roi Church in Allardville on Tuesday, February 15 at 4:00 p.m.
Visiting hours: Monday, February 14, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, February 15, 1:30 p.m. until departure for the funeral.

Annie Mallais
1931-2011
BRANTVILLE - Suddenly at her residence, on Tuesday February 15, 2011, at the age of 79, passed away Annie Mallais, wife of the late Edward J. Mallais (April 2006). She lived in Brantville. Born September 25, 1931, she was the daughter of the late David Mallais and the late Marie-Anne McLaughlin.
She is survived by four daughters: Rose-Marie, Loretta (Clarence Drysdelle), Carmélia (Normand) and Lima (Stéphane); six sons: Alphonse, Normand (Elizabeth), Yvon (Janice), Denis (Sandra), David and Gilles with whom she lived; a very special granddaughter, Stéphanie, whom she considered to be her daughter; one brother, Prudent (late Elizabeth); one sister-in-law, Odile (late Théodore Cormier); two goddaughters: Françoise and Hélène; 13 grandchildren: Michel, Annick, Pauline, Nadine, Stéphanie, Annie, Marco, Mario, Nadia, Mathieu, Yvon, Cassandra and Tania; 16 great-grandchildren, as well as several nephews, nieces, cousins, cousins and many friends.
Two sisters: Dorelle and Marie-Rose; an adoptive sister, Sylvina, as well as four brothers: Jim, Jules, Médéric and Georges, predeceased her.
The mortal remains will be on display starting at 2 p.m., Thursday, February 17, at the Robichaud & Fils funeral home, 3875, rue Principale, in Tracadie-Sheila. The funeral will be held at Saint-Louis Church in Brantville on Friday, February 18 at 2:00 p.m.
Visiting hours: Thursday, February 17, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday, February 18, from noon until departure for the funeral.
Michel Boudreau
1934-2011
SAINTE-ROSE - Suddenly at Tracadie-Sheila Hospital, on Tuesday February 15, 2011, at the age of 76, passed away Michel Boudreau, husband of Carmelle Foulem Boudreau. He lived in Sainte-Rose. Born July 13, 1934, he was the son of the late Félix M. Boudreau and the late Elmire Noël.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons: Marcel (Francine) of Papineauville, Qc and Gérald (Nathalie) of Sainte-Rose; five grandchildren: Philippe, Pier-Luc, Mélissa, Anik and Luc; five sisters: Régina (late Joseph Witzell) of Sainte-Rose, Angélina (late Alexandre Losier) of Sainte-Rose, Elisabeth (late Gérard A. Duguay) of Sainte-Marie-Saint-Raphaël, Thérèse Gagnon of Sainte-Rose and Cécile (late Xavier Comeau) of Landry Office; three brothers: Roger (Elizabeth Losier) of Sainte-Rose, Simon of Sainte-Rose and Calixte of Saint-Isidore; an aunt, Lucienne (late Joseph Boudreau) of Sainte-Rose; one sister-in-law, Carmelle (late Félix F. Boudreau) of Sainte-Rose; three godchildren: Serge Arseneau, Annette Comeau and Philippe Boudreau, as well as several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, cousins, nephews and nieces.
Three sisters: Anna, Jacqueline and Simonne, as well as four brothers: Alphonse in infancy, Alphonse, Félix and Aimé, predeceased him.
