KEITH, ALMA MARTHA - The death of Alma M. Keith, age 90, of Belleisle Manor, Belleisle Creek, and formerly of Parleeville Road, Norton, NB, occurred at the Sussex Health Centre, on Thursday, October 19th 2006. She was the wife of the late Donald B. Keith and daughter of the late Ernest and Martha (Wilson) Frazee. Alma is survived by sons; Ernest and Georgie Keith, Roachville, Harold and Gladys Keith, Arnold and Marilyn Keith, Arthur and Jane Keith, all of Norton, eight grandchildren; Wayne and Donna, Cara and Cliff Marr, Corey and Sheila, Darrell and Rebecca, Troy, Jeff, Michael and Stuart Keith, six great grandchildren; Lukas, Cecilia, Tommy, Devin, Shannon and Shanell Keith, brother-in-law; Walton and Marie Keith, and sister-in-law; Oretha and Bob Forsythe, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by brothers: Sterling, Medley, and Otty and sisters; Mary and Cora Frazee. Resting at Sherwood's Funeral Home (839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, with visiting Sunday, from 2 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held from Sherwood's Chapel, at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 23th 2006. HAGGERTY, JAMES WAYNE - Unexpectedly at the Kingston General Hospital, Kingston ON on October 17th 2006, Mr. James Wayne Haggerty, formerly of Pocologan NB. Born in Blacks Harbour on September 17th 1965, he was the son of Ralph and Nancy (McCullough) Haggerty. A loving son, brother and father, James is survived by four sons; James Crichton, Joseph Myatt, Dale Crichton, David McLaughin, his mother; Nancy (Gordon Dean) of Grand Manan NB, his father; Ralph (Martha Mattatall) of Dartmouth NS, one sister; Lorelei Haggerty of Halifax NS, one nephew; Damien Haggerty, Maternal Grandmother; Nancy McLean of St. George NB, and several aunts, uncles and cousins. James was known for his love of music, especially his passion for the guitar. More recently, he could be seen tying flies in his spare time. Resting at the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533) 26 Portage St, St. George, NB from where the service will be held on Sunday, October 22nd , 2006 at 2:00 pm from the Gary E. Waycott Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Keith Osborne officiating. Interment will follow at the Pennfield Rural Cemetery. Visiting will take place on Saturday from 10 am - 3 pm. DUNN, ROY 1916 - 2006 - Roy Dunn, 90, of Peoples Park Tower passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, October 11th, 2006, following a brief illness. Born in Saint John, he was the son of the late Roy and Edith (Smith) Dunn. He retired after 35 years with the Department of Transport Canada. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Bernadette (Bourque), a daughter Joan (Keen) Taylor of Atlantic City, NJ, a son Roy of Tweed, ON, three sisters; Peg Doucette of Moncton, Dorothy Ross and Joan Wall of Saint John and a brother Harold (Hilda) of New Minas, NS, three brothers-in-law, Leonce (Christine), Norman, Shediac, NB, Ivan, Moncton, NB and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by five brothers; William, Donald, Louis, (infants) Charles and Arthur. There will be no visitation at Roy's request. DOMET, MARTHA JOAN (NEE STEPHEN), R.N. - With sadness at our loss but joy and thanksgiving for a wonderful life, we announce the passing of our dear mother. Martha died peacefully at her home of 61 years on Monday, October 16th. Born in Fredericton, Martha turned 91 on August 15. A 1940 "St. Mike's" grad; from hospital to private duty to psychiatric care, Martha retired as Director of Nursing at White Eagle Nursing Home in Parkdale. Beloved wife of the late Norman and predeceased by her son, Raymond and his son, Christopher, and dearly loved mother of Alfreda Zaher (Samir), Wade and David and daughter-in-law Carmie. She was the loving and ever-generous Sitto (grandmother) of Stephanie (Kevan), Jeffrey (Michelle) Donna Domet and Emelia Bozzo-Domet; Christina Zaher and Jeanette Barrett (Alex), Michael Domet and Nicholas Adam Domet. She will be missed by her great grandchildren Sofia, Veronica and Emily. Dear sister of Frances, 99 years young; and pre-deceased by Sarkis, Frank, Cesema, Catherine, Mary, John and Joseph. Mrs. Domet rested at the G.H. Hogle Funeral Home, 63 Mimico Avenue, Toronto. A sung Latin Requiem Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Tor onto Oratory Church of The Holy Family (1372 King Street West) on Saturday, October 21, 2006 at 11:00 AM. WARREN, MARGARET KATHLEEN The death of Margaret Kathleen Warren occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital Wednesday, November 1st, 2006. By request there shall be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at the Unitarian Fellowship, 874 York Street on Monday, November 6th, 2006 at 7:30 pm. Remains to be cremated at a later date.
HAWKINS, JIM 60 - Sydney. The passing of James Robert Hawkins of Sydney, N.S. and formerly of Fredericton N.B., occurred suddenly on Thursday, November 2, 2006. Born on June 29, 1946 in Fredericton, N.B., he was the only son of Hazel Hawkins, Fredericton, N.B. and the late Elwood Hawkins. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years the former Barbara (Billings); one son, Robert "Bob" (Angela), Sydney; one daughter, Heather, Sydney; 2 grandchildren, Jeffrey and Janelle; 3 sisters, Alice Moore, Keswick, N.B.; Edith Gallagher, Fredericton, N.B.; June (Mike) Brewer, Burtts Corner, N.B.; mother-in-law Patricia Billings, Sydney, N.S. and several nieces and nephews. Besides his father, he was predeceased by an infant grandson, Jamie. Jim's lifetime career was devoted to the car industry. Visitation for the late Mr. Hawkins will take place at T.W.Curry Parkview Chapel today (Saturday) from 2-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday at Faith Baptist Church, Davenport Rd. Sydney, with Rev. Dan Biggar officiating. Interment in Resurrection Cemetery, Sydney Forks. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, C.B. CARRIER, HOPE ANNE-MARIE It is with great sadness we announce the death of our angel daughter. Hope Anne - Marie was born May 29, 2006 at the Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton. After a courageous battle, Hope passed away peacefully on November 2, 2006 at the IWK Hospital with mommy and daddy by her side. Hope was the strongest person we've ever known. She woke up everyday with a smile that illuminated the room. The expressions on her face made us laugh and brought us joy. She touched every person's life that she met and many peoples' lives that she didn't get to meet. She is survived by her parents, Nancy and Daryl, and big sister Emma Grace of Fredericton, NB. Also survived by maternal grandmother Irene Jones of Dalhousie, NB; paternal grandfather Ralph Carrier of Bathurst, NB, as well as several other relatives. Thank you to all the doctors and nurses at the NICU & PICU of the IWK in Halifax, NS. An extra special thank you to auntie Pam, aunt Deborah, uncle Bobby and aunt Lynn. Mass of the Angels will be held from St. Dunstan's Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday November 7th, 2006 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Gerald White as Celebrant. Interment will be in the Hermitage Cemetery. DUNCAN, AGNES CATHERINE ISABEL The death of Agnes Catherine Isabel Duncan of Hanwell, NB occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, Fredericton, NB on November 1, 2006. Born in Charters Settlement, NB daughter of the late William and Jennie (Charters) Eddington. Agnes was a member of the Sir Howard Douglas Chapter IODE and Fredericton Society of St. Andrews. Agnes was the loving wife to Ken Duncan, wonderful mother of five to Malcolm (Andrea); David (Jane); Cathie, Jennie and Ruth. Grandmother to Elizabeth (Trevor), Robert, David (Michelle), Catherine, Robert, James (Teri), Terri, Ian and Jennie. Great grandmother to Madison, MacKenzie, Adam and Luke. Predeceased by her parents William and Jennie Eddington and a brother William Eddington. A Memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on Tuesday, November 7th, 2006 at 3:30 pm from Wilmot United Church. Rev. Chris Levan will officiate.
