Sandra Savoie
1946-2012

At the Savoie chalet in Tracadie-Sheila, on Monday March 19, 2012, at the age of 65, passed away Sandra Savoie. She lived in Tracadie-Sheila. Born November 15, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Albert Savoie and the late Rina Basque.
She is survived by one daughter, Carol of Fredericton; three sisters: Raymonde (Doug Chapman), Dolorès (late Rodrigue Poirier) and Cécile (Robert Poirier); two brothers: Huguet (Winnie) and Héliodore (Gail), as well as several nephews, nieces, cousins ​​and cousins.
Prior to her retirement, Ms. Savoie worked for over 30 years as a nursing assistant at the Tracadie-Sheila Hospital. She was a member of the board of directors of the Acadian Peninsula Volunteer Center for 15 years, from 1987 to 2002.
The mortal remains will be on display starting at noon, Thursday, March 22, at the Robichaud & Fils funeral home, 3875, rue Principale, in Tracadie-Sheila. Funeral mass will be held at Saint-Joseph et Saint-Jean-Baptiste Church in Tracadie on Thursday March 22 at 4:00 p.m.
Visiting hours: Thursday, March 22, from noon to 3:45 p.m.
In memory of Mrs. Savoie, a donation can be made to the parish cemetery.

Léonie Mélissa 'Pou Poune' Doiron
1980-2012

In Leech, on Monday March 19, 2012, at the age of 31, passed away Léonie Mélissa "Pou Poune" Doiron. She lived in Leech. Born September 27, 1980, she was the daughter of Bernard Doiron (Roseline Benoit) and Claudia Rousselle (Sammy Benoit).
Besides her parents, she is survived by a son, Dave Brideau; one sister, Janice (David Robichaud); two brothers: Ligouri and Michel; his nephew and godson, Dylon Doiron Robichaud, as well as his nephew, Jessie Doiron; his maternal grandmother, Judith (Gérard David); his paternal grandfather, Bernard Doiron (late Rita); his godmother, Barbara Thibodeau; his godfather, Venance Rousselle; several uncles, aunts, cousins ​​and cousins, as well as many work colleagues, friends and friends.
His maternal grandfather, Prudent Rousselle; an aunt, Majella, as well as three uncles: Ola, Ligouri and Joseph, predeceased her.
The mortal remains will be on display starting at 2 p.m. on Wednesday March 21 at the Robichaud & Fils funeral home, 3875, rue Principale, in Tracadie-Sheila.
The funeral will be held at the Immaculate Conception Church in Rivière-du-Portage on Thursday March 22 at 2:00 p.m.

Patrick Basque
1994-2012

Surrounded by the love of his family at the Tracadie-Sheila Hospital, on Tuesday March 20, 2012, at the age of 17, passed away Patrick Basque. He lived in Haut-Sheila. Born on December 7, 1994, he was the son of Michel Basque and Christina Robichaud.
Besides his parents, he is survived by a brother, Gabriel; her maternal grandfather, Norman Haley; his paternal grandmother, Domithilde (late Rhéal Basque); his godfather and godmother: Serge Basque and Zandra Robichaud; his teaching assistant, Louise Savoie; the nurses of the Extra-Mural Program, particularly Huguette and Denise, as well as several uncles, aunts, cousins ​​and cousins. His maternal grandmother, Barbara Robichaud, as well as his cousin, John Philippe Basque, predeceased him.
Patrick was a grade 12 student at W.-A.-Losier high school.

Stella Ferguson
1917-2012

Surrounded by her children at Villa Saint-Joseph in Tracadie-Sheila, on Thursday May 24, 2012, at the age of 94 years and eight months, passed away Stella Ferguson, wife of the late Aurèle Ferguson. She lived at Villa Saint-Joseph in Tracadie-Sheila, but formerly in Tracadie-Sheila. Born September 20, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Ephrem Godin and the late Basilice Comeau.
She is survived by seven daughters: Géraldine (Armand Thibodeau), Diana (Alonzo Sonier), Rosemonde (Denis Rousselle), Rose-Marie (Edmond Comeau) and Pierrette Robichaud, all of Tracadie-Sheila, Marilyne (Gilles Mallet) of Haut -Shippagan and Aurélie (late Yvon Robichaud) from Sept-Îles; six sons: Maurice (Nicole) of Rivière-du-Portage, Eldon (Sylvie) of Saint-Octave-de-Métis, Quebec, Armand (Yvette) of Sept-Îles, Paul (Rachel) of Campbellton, Bobby (Cécile) and Bernard (Gisèle), both from Tracadie-Sheila; 30 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren; four sisters: Imelda (late Sam Robichaud) of Villa Saint-Joseph, Alphonsina (Gilles Haché) of Tracadie-Sheila, Léona (Syndey Breau) of Covedell and Jeannette (Everett Kervin) of Tracadie-Sheila; three brothers: Ovila (Thérèse) from Tracadie-Sheila, Omer (Marie) from Saint-Sauveur and Ola (Diana) from Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan; two sisters-in-law: Geneviève de Val-Comeau and Doris de Saint-Jean; three sisters-in-law by marriage: Bernadette Breau, Jeanne D’Arc Arseneau and Georgina Mallais, as well as her three babysitters: Carmen Mallais, Claudette Doiron and Murielle Bezier.
One son, Philippe; a grandson, Alain; a great-grandson, Caelan, as well as her brothers and sisters: Théodore, Olivier, Gédéon, Léandre, Hilaire, Camille, Athanase, Azilda, Lydia, Emélia and Alvina, predeceased her.
The mortal remains will be on display starting at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 25, at the Robichaud & Fils funeral home, 3875, rue Principale, in Tracadie-Sheila. The funeral will be held at Notre-Dame-de-la-Salette Church in Sheila on Saturday May 26 at 11 am.
Visiting hours: Friday May 25, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday May 26, 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Walter Kenny
1925-2012

At the Tracadie-Sheila Hospital, on Wednesday August 29, 2012, at the age of 87, passed away Walter Kenny, beloved husband of Lina Landry. He lived in Toronto, but formerly in Six Roads. Born June 20, 1925, he was the son of the late Albert Kenny and the late Brigitte LeBreton.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a brother, Edsel (Marjorie) of Toronto, as well as several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins ​​and cousins.
His siblings: Eva, Mabel, Rita, Ida, James, Stanford, Eldon, Gerald, Freeman and Earl, predeceased him.

Raymond Thomas
1954-2012

Raymond Thomas passed away at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst on Tuesday September 4, 2012 at the age of 57. He lived in Petit-Rocher, but formerly in Bois-Gagnon. Born December 3, 1954, he was the son of the late Aimé Thomas and the late Médora McLaughlin. He is survived by a brother, Omer de Saumarez; seven sisters, several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and many nephews and nieces; two godchildren: Guy Boucher and Cathy Rousselle; her godmother, Denise Thomas Légère of Tracadie-Sheila, as well as a dear friend, Rose-Marie LeBreton of Saumarez. Two brothers: Armand and Henri, predeceased him. The mortal remains will not be displayed. The funeral will be held at Saint-Isidore Church in Saint-Isidore on Tuesday September 11th at 2:00 pm.

Besides his parents, he is survived by two brothers: Danny (Eloisa) of Quebec and Martin of Maltempec; his uncles and aunts: Ronald and Suzanne Godin, Allain and Caroline Landry Chiasson, Annette and Gabriel St-Pierre, Sylvain and Aline Landry, Mariette and Jean-Claude Godin, Réginald LeBlanc, Jean-Marie and Blondine Duguay; her godfather, Sylvain Landry as well as several cousins ​​and many friends.
His paternal grandparents: Zéphyr and Louisa Landry; her maternal grandparents: Alice and Ernest Duguay as well as her godmother, Gisèle Landry, predeceased her.
