Jeanne D'Arc Paulin
1956-2012
Surrounded by her family at the Tracadie-Sheila Hospital, on Wednesday September 26, 2012, at the age of 56, the soul of our beloved Jeanne D'Arc Paulin flew towards the path of light and everlasting love. She lived in Tracadie-Sheila. Born in Tracadie on March 15, 1956, she was the daughter of the late Léo Paulin and the late Vitaline Robichaud. She is survived by her spouse Gilles Arseneau; his son, Wayne Vibert; her ex-husband, Glen Vibert; four sisters: Léoline (Louis-Paul Savoie), Jeannette (late Jean-Louis Dionne), Antoinette (André Richard) and Jeannine (Claude Rousselle); five brothers: Eléodore, Lorenzo (Hélèna), Fernand (Loulou), Jean-Guy (Yvette) and Antoinin (Sylvie); a godson, Bruno Paulin; a special niece, Carole Paulin; his godfather, Achille Robichaud; his stepmother, Clara Arseneau as well as several nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, cousins, cousins and friends and friends. She will be sadly missed by her family, her friends, and by her co-workers at La Ruche school, not to mention her friends, friends of the Tracadie-Beach campsite.
His parents, a sister, Jeannine (2 months), two brothers-in-law: Jean-Louis Dionne and Russell Price; a nephew, Marc Paulin and a niece at birth, Liette, predeceased him.
Jeanne D’Arc was a woman loved by all. A woman with an infectious smile, a woman with a heart of gold. Despite her brief illness, she was able to show us her strength to live and to want to heal until the very end. She will always be present in our hearts and we will always cherish her memory.
The mortal remains will be on display from 2 p.m. on Sunday, September 30, at the Robichaud & Fils Funeral Home, 3875, rue Principale in Tracadie-Sheila. The funeral will be held at St-Jean-Baptiste et St-Joseph de Tracadie Church on Monday October 1st at 4:00 pm.
Visiting hours: Sunday, September 30, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Monday, October 1, 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Donations in memory of Jeanne D’Arc can be made to the parish cemetery.
Delphine Bouchard
1929-2012
Surrounded by her family, at the Tabusintac nursing home, on Sunday September 16, 2012, at the age of 83, passed away Delphine Bouchard, wife of the late Edmond Bouchard. She lived at the Tabusintac nursing home, but formerly in Lagacéville. Born May 5, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Jules Robichaud and the late Judith Brideau.
She is survived by her seven children: Léonce (Léona) from Rivière-du-Portage, Gilles (May) from Pont-LaFrance, Réjean (Jacqueline) from Lagacéville, Réginald (Claudine) from Quebec, Donald (Yvonne) from Pont- Engraved, Ulysses (Aline) of Petawawa, Ont. and Jeannine (George) de Lagacéville; two sisters: Léda (late Edmond Rousselle) and Delcina; a brother, Siméon (Cécile); one sister-in-law, Cécile (late Louis Robichaud); 16 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren, as well as several nephews, nieces, cousins and cousins.
One son, Conrad; one daughter, Bernadette in infancy; three brothers: Eloi, Arthur and Ovide, as well as four sisters: Lauza, Marie-Jane, Marguerite and Lisa, predeceased her.
The mortal remains will be on display from 2 p.m. on Monday, September 17, at Maison Robichaud & Fils, 50, rue Otho, in Néguac. The funeral will be held at Saint-Augustin Church in Lagacéville on Tuesday September 18 at 4 pm.
Visiting hours: Monday, September 17, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, September 18, 1 p.m. until departure for the funeral.
Aldoria Holmes
1947-2012
Surrounded by his family at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst, on Wednesday September 5, 2012, at the age of 64, passed away Aldoria Holmes, husband of Marie-Thérèse Paulin. He lived in Lamèque but formerly in Rivière-du-Portage. Born October 9, 1947, he was the son of the late Pascal Holmes (1972) and the late Léda Doiron (2001).
He is survived by his wife, a son, Brian of Calgary; the children of his wife: Chantal (Léonce) and Corinne (Lionel); two grandchildren: Tania and James; two sisters: Delphia (Réjean LeBreton) of Pont-Landry and Exodia (late Valmond Rousselle) of Haut-Rivière-du-Portage; two brothers: Georges (Françoise) from Tracadie-Sheila and Aquila (Huguette) from Haut-Rivière-du-Portage; an uncle, Emile (Antonia); an aunt, Délia (late Georges Doiron) as well as several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, cousins and many friends.
A sister, Lionnette, predeceased him.
The mortal remains will be on display from 2 p.m. on Friday, September 7, at the Robichaud & Fils Funeral Home, 3875, rue Principale in Tracadie-Sheila. The funeral will be held at the Immaculate Conception Church in Rivière-du-Portage on Saturday September 8 at 11 am.

Marie-Anne Brideau
1935-2012
ST-ISIDORE - After a long and courageous fight against cancer, at the Hôpital de Tracadie-Sheila, on Saturday September 8, 2012, at the age of 77, passed away peacefully Marie-Anne Brideau, wife of Normand Brideau. She lived in St-Isidore. Born July 5, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence Vienneau and the late Thérèse Boudreau.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters: Manon of Rivière-à-la-Truite and Chantal of St-Isidore; two sons: Conrad (Lucie) of Tracadie-Sheila and Bertrand (Denise) of Oshawa; four sisters: Marguerite (late Victorien Ferron), Rita (Etienne Noël), Jacqueline (Richard Desjardins) and Lorraine (Claude Comeau); one brother, Joseph (Angèle Frenette); 6 grandchildren: Eric, Karine, Martine, Rémi, Amy and Amanda; 4 great-grandchildren: Ashton, Ethan, Avery and Alexanne as well as several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, cousins and many friends, girlfriends.
Two daughters: Yolande and Murielle and a sister, Emilienne, predeceased her.
A very generous woman of great faith, she has always been involved and devoted to her parish, she worked for 13 years as a cook's aide at the Tracadie Hospital. For 7 years she watched over her mother-in-law by providing her with all the care she needed.
The mortal remains will be on display as of Sunday, September 9 at 2 p.m., at the Robichaud & Fils Funeral Home, 3875, rue Principale, Tracadie-Sheila. The funeral will be held at Saint-Isidore Church in Saint-Isidore on Monday September 10 at 11 am.

Sister Dorina Frigault
1921-2012
In the infirmary of the Religious Hospitallers of Saint Joseph, in Bathurst on Wednesday September 12, 2012 at the age of 91 and in her 71st year of religious life, passed away Sr Dorina Frigault. Born at Losier Settlement on April 3, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Frédéric Frigault and the late Marie-Anne Losier.
Besides her religious family, she is survived by her brothers: Alban (late Lucienne Brideau) from Tracadie-Sheila, Hector (Josée McLaughlin) from Tarpon Springs, USA, Lorenzo (Eveline Cormier) from Losier Settlement and Jean-Guy (Marjolaine LaBrèque) from Montreal, as well than her sisters-in-law: Alphonsine (late Jean-Paul Frigault), Beverly (late Normand Frigault, remarried to Allan Shaw) and Beverly Ann (late Médard Frigault).
Her brothers: Donacien and Félicien, both young, Jean-Paul, Normand, Clarence and Médard, predeceased her.rr
Sr Dorina Frigault entered the Religious Hospitallers of Saint-Joseph de Vallée-Lourdes, September 8, 1939. She made religious profession on September 8, 1941. After her profession as a nun, Sr. Dorina Frigault worked in Tracadie from 1941 to 1951, as an assistant at the boys' boarding school, helping the sick and supervisor in medicine and surgery. From 1951 to 1956, at the Hôtel-Dieu from Sorel, QC, she worked as a medical supervisor and surgery and as the first director of the Auxiliary School; of 1956 to 1959, as director of the Nursing School, at Hôtel-Dieu in Edmundston; from 1959 to 1961, as supervisor in medicine and surgery at the Hôtel-Dieu in Bathurst; from 1961 to 1963, as director of the Auxiliary School at the Hôtel-Dieu de Campbellton; from 1963 to 1973, as director of the School of auxiliaries at the Hôtel-Dieu de Tracadie and director of care nurses at the same Hôtel-Dieu; from 1974 to 1976, as a teacher nursing clinic at the School of Trades in Campbellton; from 1976 to 1979, as a nurse at the Hôtel-Dieu and a replacement at Detox in Tracadie; from 1979 to 1991, as deputy director of the Home Sainte-Famille in Tracadie-Sheila; and finally, from 1991 to 2010, as director of the spirituality center of the Accueil Sainte-Famille in Tracadie-Sheila. She was appointed to the House Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption in Bathurst on February 15, 2010.
The mortal remains will be on display from 2 p.m. on Saturday 15 September, at the Maison Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption, 2144, rue Vallée-Lourdes, in Bathurst. A paraliturgy will take place at 7 p.m., the same day.
The mortal remains will then be transported to Tracadie-Sheila, where it will be on display at the Robichaud & Fils funeral home, 3875, rue Principale in Tracadie-Sheila, starting at 2 p.m., Sunday 16 September. The funeral will take place in the Saint-Jean-Baptiste church and Saint-Joseph de Tracadie, Monday, September 17, at 4 p.m.
Visiting hours: Saturday, September 15, at the House Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption in Bathurst, from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m., Sunday 16 September at Robichaud & Fils Funeral Home, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Monday, September 17, 2 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.
Gail E. Lyons
1967–2019
Gail Elaine Lyons, 52, of Second North River, passed away at home on Monday, April 22, 2019. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Bernard and Evelyn (Steeves) Nelson and beloved wife of Gary Lyons.
Gail was a cook at the Country View Restaurant. She loved her cats and dogs and the outdoors and enjoyed travelling in their motor home. Her family looked forward to her mustard pickles which she generously donated.
In addition to her husband, Gail is survived and sadly missed by her stepdaughter, Kim Rowe of Saint John; stepson, Mark Lyons of Miramichi; sisters, Shelley (Takvor) Toudjian of Moncton, Yolanda (Walt) Kohnert of California; brothers, Mike (Ruth) Nelson of Sussex, Carl (Dawn) Nelson of Moncton, Mark (Lisa) Nelson of ON; several cousins, nieces and nephews.
There will be a graveside service at a later date at Greenhill Cemetery, Edgetts Landing. Arrangements are in the care of Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Rte 106, Salisbury West (372–4800).
If desired, memorials to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
Vivian M. Henry
Vivian Marie Henry, 96, of Homestead Road, Steeves Mountain passed away at home, Sunday October 19, 2003. Born at Salisbury she was a daughter of the late Corey and Carey (Eagles) Lewis. Vivian was a retired school teacher and was a active member for over eighty years of the Second North River Baptist Church and was also a member of the Second North River Women’s Institute and had attended the Salisbury Monday Morning Merry Makers. Vivian took great pride in her family and was especially interested in the lives of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survived by her sons William (Elizabeth) of Steeves Mountain, Allison (Katherine) of Salisbury, Mark (Beverley) of Second North River, 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, a sister Dorothy Mitton of Harrisville, a brother Victor Lewis of Riverview and nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Harold (2001) a great grandson Derek Crandall, sister Winona Cochrane, brothers Trueman, Raymond, Paul, Corey and Vernon Lewis.
Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) with visiting hours Tuesday 7-9 p.m. The Funeral will be held Wednesday October 22 at 2 p.m. from the Second North River Baptist Church with Rev. David Evans officiating. Interment at Fairhaven Cemetery, Moncton.
Memorials to the Second North River Baptist Church Building Fund or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
