Bernard L. Crosse
Bernard (Bernie) Lloyd Crosse, 60, of Boyd Street Salisbury passed away Wednesday June 11, 2003 at the Moncton Hospital following a sudden illness.
Born at St. Andrew's he was a son of the late Herman and Fern (MacCullough) Crosse. Bernie graduated from U.N.B. Business and served twenty years with the Canadian Air Force retiring as a Master Corporal, he then worked as a development officer for Credit Union Central of New Brunswick, following this he was an Insurance broker and was presently employed with the Canadian Corps of Commissionaires at Nav. Can., Riverview.
He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife of thirty nine years Kathleen (Killam), daughters Tanya Crosse (James Young), Knoxville T.N. U.S.A., Trena Brown (Scott) of Moncton, cherished grandchildren Emma and Grayson Brown, a sister Audrey Langerfield (Ralph) of Oshawa On., a brother Michael (Judy) of Nelson Miramichi, mother in law Florence Killam of Salisbury, cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a brother Robert.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) on Friday 7-9 p.m.. The Memorial Service will be held from The Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday June 14 at 11 A.M. with Rev. Dr. Peter Sherwood Officiating. Interment will be in St. Andrews.

Ivor B. Power
Ivor Bush Power, 54, of Salisbury passed away Monday March 31, 2003 at the Moncton Hospital following a lengthy illness.
Born at Caledonia, Queens Co., N.S. he was a son of the late Clinton J. and Roberta (Lounsbury) Power. Ivor was a former employee of the Department of Transportation were he worked as an equipment operator and he was a member of the Five Points Baptist Church.
Survived by his sons C. Todd and Troy and a granddaughter Megan all of Colpitts Settlement, a sister Lavina Geldart (Austin) of Salisbury and many good friends. He was predeceased by an infant brother David.
Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) with visiting hours Tuesday 7-9 p.m. The Funeral will be held Wednesday April 2 at 2 p.m. from the Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Steeves officiating. Interment at Five Points Cemetery at a later date.

Alton B. Armstrong
Alton Beverly Armstrong, 72, of Slater Ave. Salisbury passed away Thursday March 27, 2003 at the Moncton Hospital.
Born at Jeffries Corner, Kings Co. he was a son of the late Edgar A. and Sarah (McFarland) Armstrong. Alton attended St. John's Anglican Church, Salisbury, was a retired employee of Maritime Beverages and together with his wife were members of the Canadian Kennel Club.
Survived by his wife of 52 years Edith L. (Whynott), daughters Dianne Lawson (Wesley) of Riverview, Gail MacLeod (Brent) of Salisbury, sons David (Faye) and Wayne (Brenda) of Petitcodiac, Ronald (Carolyn) of River Glade, and seven grandchildren. Survived also by brothers Lloyd E. of Roachville and Curtis R. (Joan) of Sussex Corner, a sister Ruth Armstrong of Moncton and nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a brother Ralph C. and a grandson Joel.
Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) with visiting hours Saturday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral will be held from the Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday March 30 at 3 p.m. with Rev. Albert Snelgrove Officiating. Interment at Trinity Anglican Cemetery, Sussex Corner.

Edward Sheppard
Edward Sheppard, 79, of Marx Farm Road, Salisbury West passed away Tuesday March 25, 2003 at the Moncton Hospital. Born at Harbour Grace Nfld he was a son of the late Nathaniel and Ethel (Squires) Sheppard. Edward was a member of the Church of England and attended St. John’s Anglican Church, Salisbury and was a member of the Orange Lodge .
He retired as a custodian with McDonald”s Restaurant in Dieppe.
Survived by his daughters Florence Goddard (Sterling) of Salisbury West, Jane Duncan of Moncton, Norma Jean Demont (Dana) of Harewood, nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren, sisters Margaret King of Corner Brook, Dellie Adams of Ont., brothers Harold of St. Phillips, Nathan of St. John’s, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his wife Edwina, sisters Susie Sheppard, Chris Smith, Lillian Wright and Florence Lewis, brothers George and Norman.
Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) with visiting hours Thursday 7-9 p.m. The Funeral will be held from the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday March 28 at 1 p.m.. Interment at Pine Hill Cemetery, Salisbury.

Frank Elton Bishop
Frank Elton Bishop, 61, of Highland Drive, Salisbury passed away Wednesday April 9, 2003 at the Moncton Hospital following a courageous battle with cancer.
Born at Mapleton, Albert Co. he was a son of Ruth (Garland) Bishop and the Late Laurie M. Bishop. Frank was a retired employee of R&R Cartage, was a member of the Salisbury Fox Farmers Association, a former member of the Salisbury Advisory Council and was a member of the Glades Baptist Church.
He will be sadly missed and forever remembered by his loving family and countless friends. Surviving besides his mother Ruth of Elgin is his beloved wife of over 40 years Irene (Smith), daughters Cindy Bishop (Greg Bustin) of the Glades, Heather Black (Hugh) of Greenwood N.S., Alison Bishop at home, grandchildren Brandon and Blaine Bustin, Nicole and Erin Black. Survived also by his sister Fay Steeves (Raymond) of Elgin, a brother Donald (Dianne) of Newmarket Ont., a special cousin Erna Steeves (Winston) of Elgin and several nieces and nephews.

Doris Mae White
Doris Mae White, 72, of Salisbury passed away Sunday February 9, 2003 at the Moncton Hospital. Born at Salisbury she was a daughter of the late W. Walton and Hildred (Campbell) MacWilliam. A homemaker Doris was a member of the Salisbury Baptist Church, the Salisbury Golden Age Club and was an avid sports fan who enjoyed watching many sports and for many years enjoyed her bowling league.
She will be sadly missed by her beloved husband of fifty years James O. (Jim), their daughter Marilyn McMackin (Ken) of Salisbury, grandchildren Kathryn of Ottawa, James of Salisbury, a cherished family friend Becky Close, sisters in law Dot and Marion MacWilliam and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family predeceased by her sister Ione Ayles, infant sister Greta and brother James, Hartley, Ralph and Neil .

Eugene Leroi Kierstead
Eugene Leroi Kierstead, 57, of Salisbury went to be with his Lord February 6, 2003 at the Moncton Hospital after a valiant struggle with cancer.
Born in Havelock January 25, 1946 the son of Irene (Rumble) Kierstead and the late Warren Kierstead. He was a retired Anesthetic Orderly at the Moncton Hospital and was an active member of Salisbury Baptist Church having served on the Trustee Board and other capacities. He was an avid golfer, loved camping and together with his wife were members of the Seven C’s and Sussex Kings trailer clubs.
He was a friend to all who met him and he will be sadly missed by his Mother Irene of Salisbury, his wife Carolyn (MacTavish), children Tod (Tracey Smith) of Fredericton, Tracy Bowser (John) of Yellowknife, Tari Coates (Philip) of Colpitts Settlement, five grandchildren whom he cherished and adored Pasha, Jessie, Cole Bowser, Brady and Falyn Coates. Surviving also are brothers Richard (Margaret) of Moncton, Carl (Barbara) of Harewood, Carman (Kathy) of The Glades, a sister Calleen Harper of Moncton and nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his father Warren and his first wife Carol (Reeder).

Neil E. Leaman
Neil Evans Leaman, 49, of Delong drive Salisbury passed away Sunday January 26, 2003 at the Moncton Hospital following a sudden illness. Born in Moncton he was a son of Donald and Doreen (Little) Leaman. Neil was a general carpenter until 1993 when an automobile accident forced early retirement. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and helping family and neighbours.
He will be sadly missed by his parents Donald and Doreen of Steeves Mountain, his wife Donna M. (Gillespie), sons Marc at home, Jason (Katherine) of Moncton and cherished grandchildren Iann and Cassey. Surviving also are his sisters Sharon Morris (Phil), Katherine Constantine (Brian), Fay O’Blenis (Ronald), Starr McMahon, Peggy Harnish (Glen), Sally Leaman, brothers Gary (Brenda), Robert (Nancy), Brian, Michael, Donald (Natalie), Marty (Paddy). and nieces and nephews.
