Gerald Frederick O'Brien
Gerald (Gerry) Frederick O’Brien, 73, of Delong Dr., Salisbury passed away at home Wednesday October 13, 2004 after a brief illness.
Born in Moncton he was a son of the late Belford and Mabel (Colpitts) O’Brien. Gerry was the former owner –operator of Rene’s Texaco and The I.& R. Service Station in Steeves Mountain. He was a member of Five Points Baptist Church and was a fan of most sports and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survived by his beloved wife of over 46 years Irene (Croteau), children Leonard (Lisa), Brampton On., Julie (Steve), Mississauga On., Stanley (Tanya), Riverglade, Elizabeth Leaman, Salisbury, Robert, Mississauga On., Geraldine Lane (Harold), Colpitts Settlement, Richard (Shirley), Berrytown, Dale Lewis (Krista), Salisbury, Marlene Killam (Don) and Marilyn Squires of Moncton, thirteen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, son in law Michael Leaman, sisters in law Margaret O’Brien, Mississauga, Bessie O’Brien, Hopewell Cape. Predeceased by brothers Laurence and Weldon.
Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) with visiting hours Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral will be held from the Funeral Home Chapel on Monday October 18 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Shawn Kehoe officiating. Interment at the Colpitts Community Cemetery.

Ralph D. Wilson
Little River - Ralph (Sonny) Dennis Wilson, 71, of Little River passed away unexpectedly in Sussex on Wednesday September 29, 2004.
Born at Little River he was a son of the late Harry and Madeline (Collier) Wilson. Ralph was a retired woods worker and truck driver.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Gertrude (Mitton), children Clintonia Davis (Danny), Colpitts Settlement, Lorraine Heather Steeves (Russell), Moncton, Dennis (Mary-Lynn), Allison, April Joan Wilson (Peter), Toronto On, Shelley Wilson (Carl), Elgin, twelve grandchildren, three great grandchildren, brother Robert (Norma), Synton, sister Betty Coye, Paris On., sister in law June Wilson, Salisbury and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a brother Harvey.
Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) with visiting hours Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
The Funeral will be held from the Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday October 2 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Rodney Blyth officiating. Interment at the Little River Cemetery.

Tina Lutes
Little River - Tina M. Lutes, 47, of Little River passed away Tuesday November 9, 2004 at the Moncton Hospital.
Born in Moncton she was a daughter of the late Earl and Beulah (Gogan) Morrell. Tina was a graduate of Petitcodiac Regional School and the Moncton Community College. She was a customer service representative at Minacs in Moncton. She was a loving wife, mother and proud grandmother who enjoyed the outdoors especially snowmobiling and canoeing.
She will be sadly missed by her husband Michael, daughters Tracie Dawn of Petitcodiac, Laura Ashley at home, grandson Blake, sister Barbara Matheson of Salisbury, brothers Wayne Morrell of Oshawa, Robert Morrell of Little River, step father Ken Levy of Petitcodiac, in laws Harris and Bessie Lutes of Monteagle and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a brother Greg Morrell, uncle Allan Gogan.
Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) with visitation Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel Friday November 12 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Mark Hunter officiating assisted by Keith Lewis. Interment at Maplewood Cemetery, Petitcodiac.

Donald C. Steeves
Donald Charles Steeves, 66, of Salisbury West passed away Sunday December 5, 2004 at the Moncton Hospital.
Born at Birch Ridge he was a son of the late Roy and Muriel (Beers) Steeves. Don was a former employee of Apex Industries and was an avid fisherman and hunter and enjoyed a drive off the beaten track in the country.
He will be sadly missed by his family including his beloved wife of 46 years Alice (O’Blenis), children Debra Steeves (Brian), Boundary Creek, Terry (Darlene), Donna Bannister (Daniel), Kimberly Geldart (Roy) all of Salisbury West, grandchildren Natasha (Shawn), Lacey, Jeffrey, Jessica, Brandon, Ashley and Mathew, great grandchildren Jayden and Dylan Lewis, a sister Lilla O’Blenis (Stanley), Salisbury West, brother Hagen (Buck) Steeves, Nanaimo. Predeceased by an infant daughter Christina.
The Funeral will be held from the Salisbury Funeral Home Chapel, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) on Wednesday December 8 at 3:30 p.m. with Pastor Lloyd O’Blenes officiating. No visiting hours by request. Interment at the River Glade Cemetery.

Leslie E. Beck
New Canaan - Leslie Edward Beck, 65, of New Canaan passed away Friday January 7, 2004 at the Moncton Hospital.
Born at Hunters Home he was a son of the late Martin and Mary (Hutchins) Beck. Leslie was member of the New Canaan Baptist Church and a former member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Havelock.
Survived by his wife Luella (Kierstead) Beck, children Edwinna Campbell (Thomas) and Stephen of New Canaan, Lorrie Wood (Paul), Killams Mills, five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, brothers Walter (Annie) and James (Loretta), sisters Dora Phillips (Charles), Edith Price, Lola Brooker (J. Barry), Shirley Black (Joseph). Predeceased by brothers George and Ernest, sisters Beatrice Chown and Iva Smith.
Visitation was held from the Havelock Funeral Parlour on Sunday.
The Funeral will be Monday January 10 at 2 p.m. from the New Canaan Baptist Church with Pastor Wayne Ward officiating. Interment at the New Canaan Cemetery at a later date.

Margaret Geldart
Upper Coverdale : Margaret Marie (Margie) Geldart, 60, of Upper Coverdale passed away Monday January 10, 2005.
Born at Milton, NF., she was a daughter of the late Frederick J. and Dulcie (Adams) Greening. Margie was the owner-operator of Dawne Glo Beauty Salon in her home. Leisure time included bowling, fishing, helping her husband with firewood and family gatherings.
She will be sadly missed by her husband of 32 years Dale, children Shelli of Ottawa, Jason of Salisbury, step-daughter Susan MacDonald of Sussex and her five children, sister Doreen Rose (Delano) of Clarenville, NF, brother Austin Greening of Riverview.
Visitation will be from the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) on Wednesday January 12 from 7-9 p.m. The Funeral will be held from the Funeral Home and will be private for family with Rev. Kathleen Zwicker officiating.

Gordon Douthwright
Gordon Nelson Douthwright, 76, of the K.E. Spencer Memorial Home, Moncton and formerly River Glade passed away Tuesday July 1, 2008 at the home.
Born at Little River he was a son of the late Nelson and Ada (Hopper) Douthwright. Gordon retired from the Colpitts Waddy Farm. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survived by sisters Dorothy Morrisey, Salisbury, Virginia Lewis, Colpitts Sett.; brothers Orville Davis, Salisbury, Reginald Davis, Fredericton, Fred Davis, Colpitts Sett., Robert Douthwright, Salisbury, Richard Douthwright, Kenora On. and by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his wife Marion (Bannister); brothers Harold Davis and Owen Douthwright and a sister Greta Douthwright.
Visitation at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) on Thursday 7-9 p.m. and from where the Funeral will be Friday July 4 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Shawn Kehoe officiating.
