M. Constance Wood
The Glades: Margaret Constance (Connie) Wood, 82, of The Jordan Lifecare Center, The Glades passed away February 1, 2005 at the Moncton Hospital.
Born in Taunton, Massachusetts she was a daughter of the late Carlyle and Katherine (Whyte) Colpitts. Connie was an active writer and loved music. She was a well known soloist and sang at weddings, her churches and the Moncton Music Festival. She was retired from the C.N.R. General Office in Moncton and The Moncton Public Library.
Survived by step-sons Kenneth, Gordon, Arthur and George Wood and by cousins and second cousins. Predeceased by her husband Charles L. Wood, an infant brother David, aunts Eva J. Mullins and Margaret Burt.
Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) with visiting Thursday February 3 from 10 a.m. until time of service in the Chapel at 11 a.m., Rev. Allison Carroll officiating. Interment at Forest Glen Cemetery at a later date.
For those who wish, memorials to the Cancer Society or Forest Glen Cemetery would be appreciated.
Sylva Bernice Hope
Sylva Bernice Hope, 87, of Salisbury passed away Saturday February 5, 2005 at the Moncton Hospital.
Born in Elgin she was a daughter of the late Clifford and Emma (Nichol) Steeves. Sylva was a retired school teacher having taught over thirty years in southern New Brunswick and was a former member of the Monday Morning Merry Makers in Salisbury.
The last surviving member of her immediate family she is survived by nephews Beverly Steeves (Sharon), Riverview, Donald Steeves (Carolyn), Elgin, Alfred Steeves (Helen), Fredericton and by several great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Charles E. (1981), a sister Marie Steeves, a brother Max Steeves.
Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) with visiting Monday 7-9 p.m. and Funeral Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Chapel with Rev. Dr. Peter Sherwood officiating. Interment at Fairhaven Cemetery, Moncton.
Memorials to a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
Ethel Bishop
1923-2009
Bishop, Ethel Marjorie, 86, of the Kiwanis Nursing Home, Sussex and formerly Petitcodiac passed away Friday September 18, 2009 at the home.
Born in Killam's Mills she was a daughter of the late Elmer and Elsie (Branscombe) Killam. A homemaker she was a member of the Petitcodiac Baptist Church and enjoyed cooking, gardening and handiwork.
Survived by her step-daughter Shirley Murphy (Ken) of Petitcodiac; step-daughter in law Carol Bishop of Lower Sackville N.S.; her brother Alfred Killam (Cora) of Lewis Mountain; seven step-grandchildren; fifteen step-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Survived also by sisters in law Margaret Balzer and Frances Gillies; brothers in law Stephen Lewis and Bert (Ruby) Bishop. Predeceased by her husband Kenneth (2008); step-son Wayne Bishop; step-son in law Ashley Murphy; brothers Wilfred, Eldon and Roy Killam; sisters Pearl Graves, Violet Steeves and Hazel Stultz.
A private family graveside service will be held at Maplewood Cemetery, Petitcodiac, Pastors Gordon Cook and Bill Parks officiating.
Memorials if desired to S.P.O.T., in Petitcodiac would be appreciated by the family and placed with the Salisbury Funeral Home and Crematorium (372-4800) who are in care of the arrangements.

Frances D. Corey
1932-2009
Corey, Frances D., 77, of Chicoutimi, PQ and formerly of Havelock, passed away Thursday, October 15, 2009.
Born January 30, 1932 in Butternut Ridge, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Annie (McFarland) Corey. Frances was a retired school teacher from Chicoutimi and in her early years she taught at public schools in NB and Air Force Bases. She enjoyed travelling, entertaining friends and her visits home.
Frances is survived by her brother John J. Corey from Havelock, several cousins and many good friends.
The memorial service will be held Friday, October 23 at 11 a.m. from the Salisbury Funeral Home Chapel (3350 Salisbury Road, 372-4800) with Pastor Bill Parks officiating. Interment to follow at Loyalist Cemetery, Havelock.

Myrtle Perry
1915-2009
Perry, Myrtle Keith, 94, of the Grass Home in Riverview and formerly of Petitcodiac and Havelock passed away at the Moncton Hospital Thursday October 29, 2009.
Myrtle, born February 27, 1915 in Havelock, was a daughter of the late Edwin and Prudence (Cusack) Keith. A retired school teacher with 23 years of service in Havelock, she was a member of the Havelock Baptist Church and the organist for 37 years. Myrtle was a Sunday School Superintendent, Sunday School teacher, Dominion Life Member W.M.S., past president Baptist Women's Auxiliary, past Matron Gloria Chapter #25 O.E.S. and past president of the Havelock W.I. She was also a member and past president of Butternut Ridge Senior Citizens, a member of the Retired Teachers Association of Kings County, the Kings County Historical Society and co-author of the Keith family book.
Survived by children W. Clark (Hattie Marie) of Bedford, NS, Rayetta Ross of Montreal, QC, Leslie Gogan (Gerald) of Petitcodiac and Serge N. (Ferne) of Upper Sackville, NS; sister Edrie Stephens of Blackville; grandchildren Jeffrey, Cynthia, Melanie, Keith, Angela, Ian, Benjamin, Marc and Tanya; 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband E. Raymond; sisters Blanche Plume, Bernice Seely, Frances Seely, Mary Carson; brothers Kenneth, Richmond, Raymond, Irwin and E. Walter and son-in-law Malcolm J. Ross.
Resting at Havelock Funeral Parlour, 19 Cross Street (534-2600) with visiting Saturday 1 - 4 pm. The funeral will be held from the Havelock Baptist Church, Sunday, November 1 at 2 pm with Rev. Bill Parks officiating.Interment Greenhill Cemetery, Havelock.

Helen McFarlane
Helen Elisabeth McFarlane, 88, of Sussex and formerly Havelock, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 22, 2008 at the Moncton Hospital.
Born in Toronto, she was the daughter of the late George and Euphemia Curwood (Seaton), Helen graduated from the Anglican Women’s College where she met her husband of 59 years, the Rev. Lloyd McFarlane. As best friends and partners they raised three children. Active as a lay reader, ACW member, choir director and Girl Guide leader, Helen played a key role alongside Lloyd in the parishes of Kinmount, Mono Mills, Fort Frances (Ont) and Campbellton (N.B.). Helen and Lloyd retired to Havelock where they remained active in the church community and the Butternut Ridge Seniors’ Club. They moved to the Anglican Church Homes in Sussex in 2005.
Through her faith, compassion, humour, and curiosity about life Helen touched the lives of her many friends. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Helen is survived by her beloved husband Lloyd, children Paul (Sally) of Chicago, Gillian McNaught (Peter) of Belleville, Judith Watling (Kerry) of Ottawa, grandsons D.J., Ryan, Jeremy and David, great grandson Dillon, and nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by infant daughter Mary Elizabeth, brothers Bill, Jim and Harry and an infant sister.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Trinity Anglican Church, Sussex on Tues. June 24 from 7:00-9:00pm. The funeral will be held at Trinity Church on Wed. June 25 at 11:00 am. with internment at Trinity Cemetery, Sussex Corner. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Primate’s World Relief Fund, the Trinity Church Entrance Way Project or the Cannon. Rev. Paul Jeffries Africa Project.

Miranda Dawn Julien
1978-2009
On Tuesday, March 31, 2009 Mrs. Miranda Dawn Julien of Cold Lake, Alberta passed away at the age of 30 years.
Miranda is lovingly survived by her husband: Heath Aaron Julien; four sons: Brandon, Eric, Quintin, Cole; daughter: Jessica; step daughter: Rhiannon; parents: Susan & Brian Goddard of Cold Lake, AB, Shannon & Danial Julien of Cold Lake, AB; two sisters: Amanda (Jeff) Davey of California, U.S.A.; Jennifer (Jason) Goddard-White of Cold Lake, AB; grandparents: Isabel & David Prosser of River Glade, NB, Jean Thorne of Havelock, NB, Clinton Goddard of Petitcodiac, NB; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins & many friends. Miranda was predeceased by her nephew: Issac Thomas Davey.
Funeral Service will be held on Monday, April 6, 2009 in Cold Lake, Alberta with Padre Bob Deobald officiating. Eulogist will be Gilbert Prosser.
Pallbearers are: Adam Julien, Chris Lazenby, Jason White, Jeff Davey, Richard Newton, Desiree Julien.
