Yvon Joseph Durelle
The death of Yvon Joseph Durelle, husband of Therese (Martin) Durelle of Baie, Ste. Anne, NB, occurred on Saturday, January 6, 2007 at the Moncton Hospital, at the age of 77.
Born in Baie Ste. Anne, NB, he was the son of the late Ernest and Olida (Robichaud) Durelle.
Yvon was a fisherman, Game Warden, salesperson for both the Liquor Store and Brewery, Boxer, member of the Golden Age Club, Royal Canadian Legion Branch #10 and Knights of Columbus and inducted into three Halls of Fames: Canadian, New Brunswick and the Wall of Fame.
Besides his wife: Therese, Yvon is survived by: two daughters: Geneva LaPierre (Ralph) of Moncton, NB; Francine Kipling (Mike) of Winnipeg, MN; two sons: Yvon, Jr. (Beau) (Paulette) of Fredericton, NB; Paul (Stella) of Moncton, NB; three sisters: Helen McIntyre (Donald) of Baie Ste. Anne, NB; Corrine Pyraginie of Chicago; Lucie Durelle of Montreal, PQ; adopted sister: Stella; two brothers: Ernest (Elmire) of Baie Ste. Anne, NB; Eloie (Thelma) of Baie Ste. Anne, NB; adopted brother: Aubin Thebeault; six grandchildren: Jennifer, Steven, Erica, Chantal, Russell and Beverley and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Yvon is predeceased by: brothers: Alyre and Placide and sisters: Aurella and Patricia.
The family will receive visitors at Bell’s Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 9, 2007 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM, then the remains will be transferred to Baie Ste. Anne, where visitation will be held at Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church, on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church, Baie Ste. Anne on Thursday, January 11, 2007 at 2 PM with Father Robert Savoie officiating.
In Yvon’s memory, donations may be made to the Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church Memorial Fund.

Edna Mary Arseneault
The death of Edna Mary Arseneault of La Villa Maria, St. Louis de Kent, and formerly, Rogersville, widow of Frank P. Arseneault occurred on Wednesday, April 9, 2003 at La Villa Maria Nursing Home, St. Louis de Kent, NB, at the of age of 83.
Born in Rogersville, she was the daughter of the late Philorome and Mary (Henri) Babineau.
She attended St. Francois de Salle R.C. Church, Rogersville
Survived by one daughter: Eva (Mrs. Fidele Doucet) of Rogersville, and two sons: Louis (Diane) of Moncton, and Paul (Shirley) of St. Louis de Kent, and one sister: Sister Laurina Babineau of Rogersville: six grandchildren: Gino, Christian, Carole, Marc, Gaston and Tina and one great-grandson: Alexandre and several nieces and nephews and companion: Arthur Arseneault.
Predeceased by one daughter: Rolande: one son: Ronald; one sister: Cecile and two brothers: Antoine and Maxime.
Visitation will be held at Slumber Room in Rogersville, on Saturday 2-4 & 7-9 and Sunday 2-4 & 7-9.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 14, 2003 at 3.30 P.M at St. Francois de Salle R.C. Church, Rogersville, with Father Denis Bellevieu officiating.
Burial will take place in the R.C. Cemetery, Rogersville, later in the spring.

Grace Darling McLean
The death of the late Grace Darling McLean, widow of Hubert McLean of 106 King George Highway, Miramichi, NB, occurred on Sunday, June 29, 2003 at the Miramichi Regional Hospital at the age of 82.
Born in Boiestown, she was the daughter of the late Gordon and Mary (Weaver) Hovey.
She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Branch #10.
She is survived by: two daughters: Kimberly Trevors (Blair) of Greenwood, NS, and Darlene Sutherland (Stafford) of Sevogle, NB; one brother: Blair (Mac) Hovey (Monica) of Plaster Rock, NB; one sister: Margaret Shaddick of Miramichi, NB; one sister-in-law, Jessie Hovey of Miramichi, NB, and three grandchildren: Lindsay and Terry Trevors and Richard Sutherland and several nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by: one son: Terry, two brothers: Robert and Wilson Hovey and one sister: Jennie Russell.
The family received visitors at Bell’s Funeral Home on Monday from 7-9 PM and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated from St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday at 10 AM with Father Joseph Arsenault officiating.

Active pallbearers were: Gordon Russell, John Whitney, Keith Trevors, Greg Hovey, James Mattatll and Michael Russell.

Burial followed in the St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church Cemetery.

Helen Margaret Mullin
Helen Margaret Mullin of 24 Dickison Street, Miramichi, N.B., passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Friday, April 13, 2001 at the age of 61.
Born in Whitneyville, N.B., she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Bertha (Waye) Walsh.
She was a homemaker and member of St. Mary’s R.C. Church, Miramichi.
Survived by two daughters: Wendy (Mrs. Greg Ryan) and Josselyn, both of Miramichi, and two sons: Stephen (Jan) of Strathadam, and John (Philomenia) of Mississauga, Ont.; three brothers: Weldon (Rita) of Whitney, Raymond (Shirley) of Clifford, Ont., and John (Michelle) of Etobicoke, Ont.; two sisters: Phyllis (Mrs. Tom Kramarich) of Etobicoke, and Alena (Mrs. JonBruce) of Oakville, Ont.; eight grandchildren: Brandon, Chris, Jordan, Taylor, Makayla, Bradley and Brianna, Kara; several nieces and nephews;

Gerald Robert Underhill
The death of Gerald Robert Underhill, husband of Lyona (Coughlan) Underhill of 30 Barnettville Road, Barnettville, NB, occurred at the Moncton Hospital on Friday, March 5, 2004 at the age of 79.
Born in Blackville, Gerald was the son of the late Arthur and Clementine Underhill.
He was self-employed as a truck driver and attended the Underhill United Baptist Church.
Gerald is survived by one daughter: Lorraine (Mrs. Terry Brophy) of Upper Blackville; four sisters; Faye (Mrs. Merle Brophy) of Upper Blackville, NB; Freda (Mrs. George Hennessey) of Moncton, NB; Ween (Mrs. Woody Sommerville) of Moncton, NB, and Alberta DeLong of Moncton, NB; one brother: Harold Underhill of Blackville, NB; one grandchild: Sally and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by three brothers; Max, Clifton and Millet and one sister, Doris.
Visitation was held at the Trinity Anglican Church Slumber Room on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9PM.
The Funeral Service was held from the Underhill United Baptist Church, Blackville, with Pastor Colin Holmes officiating.

Ina Kathleen Sobey

The death of Ina Kathleen Sobey, wife of the late Walter Sobey of Mount St. Joseph Nursing Home and formerly of Maple Glen, N.B., occurred at her residence on Tuesday, March 26, 2001 at the age of 93.
Born in Maple Glen, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary (McCormick) Sobey.
She is survived by four daughters: Iona Redmond of South Nelson, N.B.; Donna Sobey of Mount St. Joseph Nursing Home; Eleanor Geikie of Miramichi, N.B.; and Audrey Vautour of Maple Glen; two sons: George Sobey of Maple Glen, and Boyd Sobey of Bellingham, Washington; two sisters: Marion Curtis of Strathadam, N.B., and Olive Robertson of Tabusintac, N.B.; 19 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by one daughter: Ruth; two sons: Vance and Wendall; three sisters: Bertie, Rita and Thelma; one brother: Wesley and granddaughter: Kelly Ann.
The family received visitors at Bell’s Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M.
Funeral Service was held on Thursday, March 29, 2001 at 2 P.M. from the H. Sterling Bell Memorial Chapel, with William Bryant and Hod Allen officiating.
The organist was Lorraine Dickson who was accompanied by the congregational on the singing of “Our Little While Will Soon Be Gone” and “Called Home To Rest.”
The active pallbearers were grandsons: Myles Sobey, David McLaughlin, Stephen Geikie, Shelton Sobey, Ross Sobey, and Vance Sobey, Jr.
Interment will take place at the Maple Glen Cemetery on a later date.

The death of the late Myrtle May Crowther, occurred at the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow, NS, on Monday, January 21st, 2002, at the age of 88.
Born in Niagara Falls, ON.
She is survived by: one son: Ian Johnson (Michelle) of Durham, NS; one daughter: Phoebe Lauber (Jim) of Peterborough, ON; three grandchildren: Jason and Jennifer Johnson and Deirdre Karski and three great-grandchildren: Theresa, Dustin, and Adam.
She is predeceased by: first husband: Harvey Johnson and second husband: Albert Crowther; one grandson: Kevin and sisters and brothers.

The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 25th, 2002, at 11:00 AM from the H. Sterling Bell Memorial Chapel.

Annette Hebert

Moncton, N.B. – Annette Hebert, 64, passed away at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, surrounded by her loving family, on Friday, October 11, 2013, after a brief and courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Moncton, N.B., on August 16, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Geneva (LeBlanc) Richard.
Annette loved to listen to Elvis Presley’s music, to eat lobster, take long drives and go swimming in the pool.
But most of all she loved her family.
She had a weakness for shopping for her granddaughters, whom she adored.
She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Paul Hebert; her daughter, Joelle Bateman (Benjamin) of Shediac Cape; her two sisters, Patricia Surette (Bernard) of Dieppe, and Suzanne Richard (Claude Mazerolle) of Cocagne; her four brothers, Normand (Muriel), Bernard (Shelley), Daniel (Jeannette), all of Dieppe, and David of Vancouver, BC; her two granddaughters, Analee and Kenzie; also by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitations will be at Passage Funeral Chapel, 625 Mountain Road, Moncton, on Monday, October 14, 2013, from 7 to 9 pm.
There will be no visitation on Tuesday.
Funeral service will be held at the St. Martin’s-in-the-Woods Anglican Church in Shediac Cape, on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at 2 p.m. with Ven. Archdeacon Richard McConnell officiating.
A reception will follow for family and friends at the Young Smith Hall.
Burial will take place at the parish cemetery.
Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
