LEWIS, Eileen F. - passed away at the Health Sciences Centre on Tuesday, July 15th, 2003. Predeceased by her parents, Michael and Agnes; and brother Bernard. Leaving to mourn two sisters: Kathleen Tefft, Providence, RI and Mary Lethbridge, Mississauga, Ontario; also many aunts, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. KAVANAGH, Jim - passed away peacefully at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie after a brief battle with Cancer on Tuesday, March 18, 2003, in his 64th year. Jim was the beloved husband of the late Florence Kavanagh. Dear father of Rod and wife Lisa and loving pop of Connor. Jim will be remembered by his sisters Ann and Joan and brothers Gordon, Clarence, and Brian. He is survived by his father Jim. Funeral took place in Innisfil, Ontario.

MALONE, Catherine Ann - (May 21, 1949 - May 20, 2003). Passed peacefully away at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie, Ontario, Cathy Malone (nee Fleming), formerly of Torbay, NL. Predeceased by her mother Carmel (1985) and her father Jack (2001). Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Philip Malone; sons: Kevin (Terri) and Garry; three grandchildren: Madison, Tiffany and Nathan. Cathy is also survived by her sister Margaret Duggan (Bernard); brothers: Patrick (Joan) and John (Janice); mother-in-law Pauline Malone as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. PARSONS, Annie - Passed peacefully away at St. Clare`s Mercy Hospital on Tuesday, January 28, 2003, Annie Parsons (Spracklin), in her 92nd year. Born in Brigus, lived in Chamberlains and resided at Lloyd and Beverly Haines` Home, Long Pond this past year. Predeceased by husband Ralph and son Clarence. Leaving to mourn sons: Gordon, Ralph (Gloria), David (Rose), Victor (Judy), Donald (Marie), Tolson (Beverly); daughters: Lillian, Ruby, Pearl (Harold Fowler); and a large number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; also other relatives and friends. Annie was a long-time member of the Golden Age Club, Worsley Park for a number of years. Resting at the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Thursday, 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. FRENCH, Mr. Harold W. Sr. - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, October 2, 2000, Mr. Harold William French Sr. of Bay Roberts, formerly Toronto, aged 63 years. Predeceased by his father George French of Bay Roberts and, in 1972, by his young son Paul Douglas French. Left with a lifetime of wonderful memories are his loving wife Ruth and beloved mother, Mrs. Florence French, both of Bay Roberts; his son Harold William French Jr. and grandchildren: Kevin and Meghan French, all of Toronto, and his brother Malcolm (Mabel) French, Lewisporte. PUDDESTER, Ann Bemister - 1913-2003. Peacefully, in Saint John, NB on July 3, 2003. Born in St. John`s, NL, daughter of Walter and Edith (Knight) White. Widow of Robert P. Puddester. Survived by daughter Rosemary of Saint John and son Robert (Norma) of Coquitlam, B.C.; also, one sister, Barbara Lilly and brother Arthur (Daphne) White, all of St. John`s. Many nieces and nephews. Ann lived for many years in Moncton, N.B. She was a member of the Engineers Wives and St. John`s United Church. She loved painting and was an avid bridge player. In Saint John, she lived at the Admiral Beatty for 18 years and had many friends and happy times. She was much loved and will be greatly missed. Predeceased by his father James on November 11th, 1998 and his brother Pat on September 22nd, 1997. EVANS, Matthew Francis - passed away suddenly on Tuesday, July 15, 2003, Matthew Francis Evans, age 58 years. Predeceased by his father, Matthew Evans and his brother Edmund Evans. He will be sadly missed by his wife Sandra; his daughters: Cheryl and Debbie; his son and daughter-in-law, David and Roberta; his grandchildren: Melanie, Matthew and Melinda; his daughter and son-in-law, Beverley and David; and his grandchildren: Sarah and Adam; his mother May and brothers: Bill and wife Gloria, Leo and wife Maxine; his sister Shirley and husband Fred; and sister-in-law Florence. He is also deeply mourned by his wife`s family, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends, and he will be especially missed by his bad pond buddies.
