Leaving to mourn his wife Mary (English); sons: Raymond (Maureen), Gerald (Ollie), Pat (Bernadette), Leo (Cecilia), Dennis (Rhonda); daughters: Mary Whitten (Edward), Cecilia Earle (Don) and Helen Ryan (Tom); 23 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sisters: Margaret Brennan and Della Doyle; sister-in-law Helen (Nellie) Hyde; brothers-in-law Gerald and Richard English; and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Leaving to mourn one daughter, Mary Ennis and son-in-law Joseph at St. John's, son Paddy (Madonna), son Stephen (Bernice) at Burnt Cove, nine grandchildren, Jody and Jillian Ennis, David (Kim), Wanda, Denise, Evelyn, Charlene, Beverly and Bradley Doyle, one great-granddaughter, Ashley-Lynn Doyle, three sisters Margaret hynes, Theresa Fifield (Jack), and Kay Finn (Frank), all of St. John's, sisters-in-law Bernadette Oliver, St. John's, Mary Bruff (Cape Broyle), Joan North (St. George's Court) and Clara Walsh (Will), Burnt Cove. Also, left to mourn a number of nieces and nephews, relatives and friends, especially those at St. Patrick's Mercy Home. Remains resting at Ryan's Funeral Home, Bay Bulls. Visiting hours are 1 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday, August 12 and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday, August 13. Interment at St. Michael's cemetery.
