Fitzpatrick, Thomas Xavier

passed away August 24, 1994 at home in Halifax, age 78. Born in St. John's, Newfoundland, he was the son of the late Thomas and Mary-Anne (Tapper) Fitzpatrick. He operated the family business in St. John's before retiring. He was an active member of St. Pius X Church in St. John's and an Honourary Member of the Knights of Columbus, Terra Nova Council. He volunteered with numerous organizations in St. John's over his lifetime but was expecially involved with the 1st St. John's Boy Scout Troup. In earlier years he was active in several sporting associations and in later years became a keen bridge player. He is survived by his wife, the former Rita Martin; a son Thomas Cochrane, Alberta; five daughters: Sheila Mader, Halifax, Maria Carter, Red Deer, Alberta, Judy Fitzpatrick, Edmonton, Alberta, Eileen Fitzpatrick, Yellowknife, N.W.T., and Rosemary Fitzpatrick, Northway, Toronto, Ontario; two sisters: Mrs. Dulcie Coleman, St. John's, Newfoundland and Mrs. Rita Barton, Three Rivers, Michigan. He is also survived by nine grandchildren. Visiting will be today, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in Snow's Funeral Home, Windsor St. Funeral Mass will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady Of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church, Rockingham. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven cemetery. Memorial Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.

Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on February 24, 1975 Bridget (Bride) Gosse, formerly of Torbay. Left to mourn two daughters, Mary (Mrs. Patrick Martin), with whom she resided, Margaret (Mrs. Hubert Stringer), Little Heart's Ease, T.B.; four sisters, Genevieve (Mrs. James Rodgers), Catherine (Mrs. Vincent Burton), Nellie (Mrs. Wm. Burton), all of St. John's and Agnes (Mrs. Lawrence Cantwell) of Torbay: 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Remains resting at her daughter's residence, 38 Hunt's Lane (off Portugal Cove Rd.) Funeral from St. Pius X Church at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday. Interment at R.C. cemetery, Torbay.

Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on March 13, 2005. Sarah Wade, aged 85 years. Predeceased by her husband: Leo in 1999, and great-grandson: Riley Cole in 2003. Leaving to mourn with cherished memories her three daughters: Adeleane O'Brien (Stephen), Rita Farrell (Dominic) and Alice Wade (Pat); one son: James Wade (Geraldine); son-in-law: Tom Cole; sixteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren; special friends: Jim and Mary Parsons, Margaret Hayward; Bingo Buddy: Kayla Wade and many other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, Torbay on Monday from 3-10 p.m. and Tuesday from 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will take place on Wednesday March 16, 2005 at 11 a.m. from St. Michael's Church, Flatrock. Interment to follow at St. Michael's cemetery, Flatrock. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made in her memory to the Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto.

Predeceased by her husband Patrick Sept 4, 1976, son Peter Sept 12, 1968, son Michael February 1993 and niece Sarah Johnson June, 1993. Leaving to mourn four daughters: Rita (Ted Hall) with whom she resided, Sarah (Peter Gibbons) at St. Vincent's, Lucy (Bill Klutz), North Carolina, Rosann Mullaly, Northern Bay; five sons: Ignatius, Dave, Maurice (Ethell), Leo (Mercedes) all at Stephenville and Frank (Mary) in Edmonton; daughter-in-law Angela Woodfine, Northern Bay; one niece Annie Jane Poirier; 56 grandchildren, 79 great-grandchildren including special great-grand child Geoffrey and one great-great-grandchild. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Funeral on Thursday to Corpus Christi Church, Northern Bay for Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment at R.C. cemetery, Northern Bay.

Resting at Noels' Funeral Home, Western Bay form where the funeral will take place on Monday, Dec 6 at 2 p.m. Mass to follow at 2:30 p.m. from Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church, Northern Bay. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to the Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church, Northern Bay. Visitation hours at Noel's Funeral Home are 10:30 a.m. - noon, 2'5 p.m. and 7-9:30 p.m. daily.
Graham, Alice F. (no date)
Final rites were held from the Wilson Funeral Home Saturday morning for Mrs. Alice F. (Martin) Graham who died Wednesday of last week at her home, 79 Sprague Street. The corege proceeded to St. Mary's Church where a high mass of requiem was celebrated by Rev. John Sweeney of the Queen of Apostles Seminary. Interment was in Brookdale Cemeter and committal services were conducted by Rev. Leonard Burke.
Mrs. Graham, who is survived by her husband, John Graham, was born in Newfoundland 54 years aog and had resided in Dedham for about 25 years.

Passed peacefully away in her home, September 5, 2002, surrounded by her loving fammily. Born on January 15, 1925 in St. John's, daughtr of Patrick Oliver and Mary (O'Brien) Oliver. Predeceased by her husband Thomas in 1992, her daughter Dianne in 1997, her brotheher sisters Mary in 1995 and Agnes in 1999. Survived by her daughter Peggy of St. John's, her sons Tom (wife Dianne) of Ottawa, Wayne (wife Ellie) of Halifax, Brian (wife Shareen) of Burnaby, David of St. John's, and Keith (wife Heather) of Toronto; son-in-law Len Besaw of Lethbridge; grandchildren Christing Deley (husband Brad) and David Besaw of Calgary, Jamie Besaw of Lethbridge, Mark and Kristin Hynes of Ottawa, and Kashef Ali of Burnaby; sisters Theresa (Jack) Fifield and Kay (Frank) Finn, sister-in-law Bernadette Oliver, brother-in-law Greg (Jessie) Hynes, all of St. John's; numerous family and friends including Frances Kenny, Betty Burton, Ellen Scaplen and special young friend Colin Hunt. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road, September 9, following 9:30 a.m. Mass at Mary Queen of the World Church, on Topsail Road. Interment in the family plot in Holy Sepulchre cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted, or donations may be made to the Newfoundland Cancer Treatment and Research Foundation, or to a charity of one's choice. Special thanks to Drs.
