It is with great sadness that the family of the late Maggie Pike Announce her passing at Dr. Charles I., Legrow Health Center On Sunday, July 6, 2003 in her 74th year.
She leaves to mourn with fond and precious memories two daughters; Sherry Pike, (Gary), Marilyn Pike (Gord), Six Sons; Ernest (Loriann), Arthur, Barry (Janet), Jerome (Donna), Martin (Wendy), Shawn (Kerri Anne), 16 Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren, Brother; Jack Bobbett, Sister-in-Law; Irene Bobbett, and Maude Bobbett, as well as large circle of relatives and friends.
She is predeceased by her husband William, in 1989, sister; Lizzie Cooper, Brothers; Cecil Bobbett and Bill Bobbett, Brother-In-Law; Bill Cooper, Sister-In-Law; Ida Bobbett.
Visitation took place on Monday, July 7th and Tuesday July 8th, 2-4 &7-9 PM. funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 9th, @ 2:00pm From St. James Anglican Church with Rev. H. Fudge officiating.
Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery, Barachois Hill.
Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Fillatre's Funeral Home, Port Aux Basques.
Susan Jane Piercey
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Susan Jane Piercey announce her passing on Monday, July 28th, 2003 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 31 years.
She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her parents, Keith and Catherine; brother Douglas and wife, Lori; grandmother Kay Rowsell, special niece and nephew, Ainsleigh and Keegan. As well as a large circle of relatives and friends.
Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark's Avenue this evening from the hours of 7-9 PM. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th at 2:00 PM from First United Church, Park Street with Rev. John Adams officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery.

It is With Great Sadness that the Family of the late Gorclon Payne announce his passing on Monday August 4, 2003 at his family residence in his 74th year.
He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Lilly. his children Neila (Anthony) Anstey of Fort McCurray Alberta and Authorine (Jim) Offrey of Millet, Alberta Grandchildren Walter (Lena), Hughena and Lillian in Fort McCurray and Carmi, Heidi and Bobbi Jean in Millet, Two sisters Nettie Payne of Cow Head and Hilda Reeves of Hespler Ontario. Also, a large circle of family and friends.
Predeceased by his mother Mildred (Humber), his father Thomas and his daughter Mildred.
Visitation took place at St. Mary's Anglican Church Cow Head. The Funeral was held on Thursday, Aug 7 at 2:00pm

Leaving to. mourn with fond and loving memories are; step-son LeRoy Pike (Kay), two grandchildren; Mark Pike (Lynn), and Lori Lee Hollett (Ed), two great grandchildren; Andrew and Robyn Pike; brother Bud Ralph (Beverley), sister; Millicent Duff (Jim), and brother Junior Oxford, long time friend and comrade Mel Graham, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents Ralph and Sarah Oxford, sisters; Alice Soper and Rose Thoms, and brothers; Melvin, Raymond and Ford. Oxford.

Jean Ellen Messervey
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Jean Ellen Messervey announce her passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville on Thursday, August 7, 2003 at the age of 98.
She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories; daughters Anne (George) Evans, Dr. Diane Messervey both of Barachois Brook; son, David (Pat), St. John's NL; sister Chris Murphy of Whitby, Ontario; Six grandchildren. and six great grandchildren as well a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She is predeceased by her parents; Rev. E.A Butter and Caroline Temple; husband Morgan Messervey; sisters Claire Perry and Mollie McPherson; brothers: Temple, Vincent, William and John.
Friends may vist Fillatre's Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing beginning Friday 2-4 and 7-9pm and on Saturday 2-4 and 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held Sunday August 10th at 2:00pm from the All Saints Anglican Church, Stephenville Crossing with Rev. Karen Laldin officiating. Interment will follow at the Church Cemetery.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Maude, three children- Phyllis Bennett (Rick), Bradford, On, Roger (Josie), Newmarket, On, and Derek (friend Sandy), Comer Brook- grandchildren- Robert, Michelle, Ashley, Jason and MacKenzie. His mother Mrs. Hettie Pardy (Miles), Corner Brook, sisters; Verna Grant (Jim), Comer Brook, Bernice Stratton (companion Mike), Cantley, Quebec, Renalda Miles, Toronto, On, ; brother Lorne Miles (Jessie), Sandy Point, as well as many nieces, nephews, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law other relatives and mends. Predeceased by father Jesse Miles (1959), and beloved daughter Sharon Linda (2001 ).

He was predcceased by his daughter Lisa Lewis (1995), his son Clyde Lewis (2000) and his father Herbert Lewis.

Cox’s Cove - It is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of Cyril Payne on Saturday October 10th, at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, at the age of 73 years. He leaves behind his loving wife of 52 years, Shirley; 7 daughters: Wanda Barnes (John), Alvina Park (Max), Marina Park (Rod), all of Cox’s Cove, Yvonne Krulicki (Ron) of Point Clark, ON, Winnifred Payne (Oscar) of Kitchener, ON, Emily White (Jason) of McIver’s and Nancy Cuff (Ramsey) of Kitchener, ON; 12 grandchildren: Martin, Trina, Samantha, Charlie, Steven, Melissa, Michelle, Victoria, Jacob, Brianna, Martina and Joshua; 8 great grandchildren: Zachary, Haley, Ryan, Lilly, Hannah, Chloe, Jenica and Sommer; Brothers: Charlie (Judy) and Philip (Annie); 2 special nephews: Norman and Nathan Payne; special puppy Maggie; mother-in-law Emily Park; sisters-in-law: Ethel(Eugene) and Ada(George); brothers-in-law: David, Russell(Louise), and Harold. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Cyril was predeceased by his parents Henry and Winnifred Payne; son John; grandson Jason; sister Alvina; father-in-law Harold Park; sisters-in-law: Evelynn and Hilda; and brother-in-law Willie. Visitation will take place starting at 7 PM on Sunday and all day Monday at St. Nicholas Church, Cox’s Cove, from where the funeral service will take place on Tuesday, October 13th at 2PM. Rev.
