It is with great sadness that the family of the late William Hilliard announce his passing on Sunday, July 13th, 2003 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 75 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories: His loving wife of 54 years, Annie (nee Mitchell); son, David (Vera); three daughters: Diane Bugden (Craig), Linda Payne (Scott) and Kimberly Strickland (Curtis), grandchildren: Mark Hilliard (Stephanie), Rhonda Robson (pauQ, Carla Bugden (Conrad), Stephen Bugden (Kelly), Bradley Payne (Tracey), Blair Payne (AHcia), Andrew and Neil Strickland; great grandchildren: Carson Hilliard, Joshua Robson, Emily, Avery and Aaron Payne; brother Hayward Hilliard (Winnie); sisters: Laura Pearo, Pearl Mitchell (Joseph), as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents John T. and Elizabeth Hilliard, sisters: Alice, Martha and Lavinia.
Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Tuesday from the hours of 2A and 7-9:00 p.m.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 16th at 2:00 p.m. from Curling Memorial United, Mrs. Mary Branson officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. She was predeceased by her husband William John. Layden, June 27th 2003, grandson Glen. Layden, daughter Marina, parents George and Florence Pieroway, brothers Jack, Andrew, Raymond and Gilbert, as well as step-brothers and sisters.
Visitation will take place from Fillatre' s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks avenue on Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m., and Monday, 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service win be held an Tuesday. July 29th at 2:00 p.m. from the Humber United Church, Clarence street, Rev. Patricia Melindy officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Palliative Care Unit or to the charity of one's choice.
Mary Rose Harper
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mary Rose Harper announce her passing at her family residence with her loving daughter by her side on Sunday, August 10th, 2000 at the age of 84.
She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, daughters; Carina (Terry) Hawkins, St George's, Anita (Albert) Carew, Britlsn Columbia; sons: Ralph (Maxine), St. George's. Stanley (Linda), George's; grandchildren: Darlene. Lawrence, Emma. Vanessa, Vincent, Lisa, Jason, Crystal, Cory, Colton and Chalessa; eleven great grandchildren; sisters: Anita Legge, Flat Bay; Loretta Bennett, Flat Bay; Odelle (Clyde) Young, Stephenville. Geraldine Alexander, Nova Scotia; brothers: Vincent Perrier, Stephenville; Reginald (Betty) Perrier, Stephenville and William Perrier of Flat Bay; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She is predeceased by her parents: Albert Perrier and Josephine Young; husband William Harper; daughter Vonnita Harper, grandson Joey Harper; granddaughter Victoria Harper; great-granddaughter Kayla Hawkins; brothers: Ambrose Perrier, Freeman Perrier and sister Dorothy White.
Visitation will begin for friends on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9p.m. at St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church, Flat Bay from where the Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, August 13th at 10:30a.m. with Father Arial Garcia officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery, Flat Bay.

MARY AGNES BUCKLE
It is with great sadness that the family of the late MARY AGNES BUCKLE announce her passing on Friday, July 11th 2003 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 83 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are four children: Sheila MacNeil (Brian), Albert Buckle (Linda), Robert Buckle and special mend Linda MacLaren, Regina Staples (Gerry); thirteen grandchildren: Brian Buckle, Janet Lynn, Brianjr, Mark & Michael MacNeil, Cheron, Cassandra, Melissa Buckle, Shane, Shannon & Erin Buckle, Michael & Danny Staples; four sisters: Elizabeth (Betty) Fitzgerald, Sheila Sova (Richard), Jean Murphy (Bill), Patricia (Pat) Greene (Bryan); three brothers: Kevin, Mike and Frank Fitzgerald; and numerous other relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband Edward Buckle (1986), sons Francis (1952) & Paul (1999), brothers Joe (1997) & Roy (1968).
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Monday, July 14th at 10:30 a.m. from The Most Holy Redeemer Cathedral, Mt. Bernard Avenue, followed by the interment at Mt. .Patricia Cemetery. James Alphonse (Jim) Gash
October 30, 1952 - June 23, 2003
Passed away suddenly at the Health Science Center, St John's on Monday. Jim Gash of Corner Brook, NL at the age of 50.
Left to mourn, his loving wife Bobbi; sons Jimmy, Jason and Bobby; his mother Ann; brothers Brian, Chris (Melanie), Mark (Cathy), Paul (Paulette) and Joe (Kelly); sisters: Carol (Bill Elford), Marie (Karl Adams), Helen (Gerry Loughoed), Vickil (Craig Burton) and Jean: mother-in-law and father-in-law Grace and Clarke Martin; sisters-in-law: Gwen Dunphey, Pegggy (Dan Sacrey), Susan Martin, Jackie (Tony Duffney) and brother-in-law Roger Martin; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, his co-workers at CBC and a large circle of extended family and friends. Jim was predeceased bt his father Jim Sr. (July 26, 1999) and his brother Terry (December 27, 1987)
The funeral mass will be held Friday, June 27 at 10:30 a.m. from All Hallows Roman Catholic Church, Humber Road, Father Joseph Gash officiating, followed by the interment at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.. He was predeceased by his wife Lorraine (Maidment) 1991; daughter Ena Elizabeth 1944; parents Michael and Mary Winnifred (Kennedy) Murphy; brothers: Joseph, Stephen (Marie, Min), Aloysius (Josephine), Thomas (Sadie), Walter, Anthony (Marcella).
The funeral service will be held Monday, June 9th at 1:30 p.m. from The Most Holy Redeemer Cathedral, Mt. Bernard Avenue. The interment will follow in the family plot at The Townsite Cemetery.
