Port Aux Basques, NL - It is with great sorrow and loss that the Short and Ingram families announce the loss of Dinah Mae (nee Musseau) Short-Ingram at Dr. Charles LeGrow Hospital in Port Aux Basques, after a long and courageous battle with cancer, on Wednesday, December 22nd, 2010 at the age of 57 years. She was predeceased by her husband of 33 years, Alex Short; father Gordon Musseau; grandparents Jim and Mabel Musseau of Port Aux Basques and Dinah and John Hayman of Ramea; nephew Jason Ball. She leaves to mourn with precious memories, her husband of five years, Robert Ingram; mother Hilda Musseau of Aylesford, NS; daughters: Karen (Todd) Kettle, Susan Short (Rodney) and Jody (Brad) Leamon; sisters: Mabel Comeau (Keith), Darlene (Vince Gillam), Elaine (Terry) Saunders; brothers: Don Musseau, Randy (Kendra) Musseau, Chris Musseau; grandchildren: Hillary, Brandon, Courtney and Kelsey, close friend Anne Lawrence, as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. Family and friends celebrated her life at Fillatre's Funeral Home in Port Aux Basques on Sunday, December 26th. The Funeral Service was held at St. James Anglican Church on Monday, December 27th at 2:00 p.m., Reverend Hannah Dicks officiated. Interment followed at Barachois Hill Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted.

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Donald Bowdridge announce his passing at the Calder Health Care Centre in Burgeo on Sunday, December 19th, 2010 at the age of 91 years. Friends may visit St. John Evangelist Church in Burgeo on Tuesday, from where the Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, December 22nd at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at the Burgeo Community Cemetery. Corner Brook, NL - It is with great sadness that the family of the late Sandra Elizabeth Healey announce her passing after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her devoted family on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 64 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Dave of 44 years; her three children: Kim (Derrick) Quinton, Rod (Della) and Sherry (Darren) Jennings; her four grandchildren who were the light of her life: Joshua, Hannah, Natasha and Jonathan; sisters: Brenda, Jacqueline (Jack) Pretty; brothers: Jerry (Linda), Larry and Nick (Kim) and a large circle of family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Pearl Mosher (1992) and John Mosher (2006). Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home on Thursday 7-9 p.m. and Friday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 1, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. from Humber United Church, Clarence Street with Marilyn Avery officiating. Cremation to follow with the interment on Sunday, January 2, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. from Mount Patricia Cemetery. Corner Brook, NL (Formerly of Deer Lake, NL) - Surrounded by her two granddaughters and her great grandson, Eileen Brazil passed peacefully away on Sunday, December 26th, 2010 at her residence at the the age of 87 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her son: William Brazil (Claudine), Modoc, ON; brother: Donald Banfield (Olive), Stephenville; grandchildren: Melissa Brazil, Corner Brook, Anissa Rae Bennett, Corner Brook, Donald Flower, St. John’s and David Flower, Marystown; great grandchildren: Dylan Bennett, Corner Brook and Devon and Kelsey Flower, Marystown; cousin: Olive Bryant (Philip), Bedford, NS; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond Brazil; daughter: June Bennett and brother Russell Banfield. Visitation will take place from Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 10 Clinic Drive, Deer Lake on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 29th at 2:00 P.M. from St. Michael’s and All Angels Anglican Church, Deer Lake, Bishop Leonard Whitten officiating, followed by interment at the Anglican Cemetery, White’s Road. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Janeway Neonatal Unit, The Children’s Wish Foundation or to the Bay of Islands SPCA.

She is survived by her two sons: Gordon (Eleanor), Andrew (Wanda); seven grandchildren: Amy, Jill, Garett, Lenore, Nikita, Dillon, Skyeler; two great-grandchildren: Grayson, Taryn; one sister Helena (Alfred) Patry; four brothers: Frank, Gerald, John (Vivian), Walter; one sister-in-law Debbie and a large circle of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband William on September 13, 1971; parents Alexander and Margaret Downey; grandson William on March 22, 1985; brothers: Richard, Albert, Vincent; sisters: Maude, Bride, Marie.
