Pasadena, NL - It is with great sadness that the family of the late Dianne Bowen announce her passing on Sunday, January 16, 2011 in her 47th year. Leaving to mourn her mother Joan; brothers: Kenneth (Lynn) and Douglas; nephews: Justin and Reilly; aunts: Laura Sceivour and Belinda Yetman; uncles Donald Smith and Eli Bowen (Sue); as well as numerous cousins, relatives and friends. Also mourning her loss are her very special friends Daphne and Jerry Leonard, Carol Parsons, Valarie and Melvin Brett; her caregivers (special angels) Viola, Irene, Queenie and Susan. She was predeceased by her father Eric, 2010, grandparents Jim and Lizzie Philpott, Lionel and Rebecca Bowen. Cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium. A memorial service will take place on Tuesday, January 18 at 11:00 p.m. from St. David of Wales Anglican Church, Pasadena with Rev. Edmund Laldin and Bishop Leonard Whitten officiating. Interment to follow at the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy no flowers by request, donations may be made to the Western Memorial Regional Hospital Foundation. Corner Brook, NL - It is with great sadness that the family of the late Egbert “Bert” Randell announce his passing on Friday, January 14, 2011 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 84 years. He will be sadly missed by his family including nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; special friend Lenny Taylor. He also leaves behind many friends at the Lohnes Seniors Complex where he resided for the past 8 years. Many thanks to Hedley Saunders for reading the Bible to Bert on so many occasions. He was predeceased by his wife Marion, 2006, parents Ernest and Mary Ellen Randell, sister Marion (Sam), brothers Lester, Bond (Ellie), Roland (Evelyn) and James (Ann). GEORGE’S, NL - It is with great sadness that the family of the Late Elizabeth Rose Cecelia Bennett announce her passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook on Thursday, January 13, 2011 at the age of 67 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her three sons: Darrell (Heather), Dean (Bev), Joseph; daughter Melissa (Lissa); 10 grandchildren; brothers: Robert (Josephine), Orville, Clarence; sister: Marilyn (Kevin) Young as well as a large circle of family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Louis Joseph Bennett; parents Robert and Theresa Bennett; brothers: Douglas, Terrence; sister Cecelia. Visitation will take place from St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, St. George’s on Saturday 7 – 9 p.m., Sunday 2 – 4 and 7 - 9. and Monday 10 – 12 p.m. from where the Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 17, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. with Father Gerard Patry officiating. Corner Brook, NL - It is with great sadness that the family of the late Joyce Randell announce her peaceful passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Thursday, January 13, 2011 at the age of 81 years. She will be sadly missed by her daughter Sharon (Ted Kawaja), Corner Brook; three grandchildren: Billy (Flora) Beijing, China, Beverly Anne (Robin), Happy Valley Goose Bay, and Kimberly (Brad), Calgary, AB; sister: Phyllis (Bob) Carbonear; as well she will be sadly missed by a number of brothers and sisters –in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is predeceased by her husband, Douglas Randell (1986); mother and father: Herbert and Annie Mansfield; three brothers: Clayton, Harry and Gilbert; five sisters: Flossie, Maude, Leona, Vera and Olive. The funeral service will take place on Saturday, January 15th at 2:00 p.m. from All Saints Anglican Church, Clarence Street, Reverend Tanya White officiating. The interment will follow at the family plot, Mt. Patricia Cemetery.
