Martha Marie Barnes (nee Cox)
November 10, 1928 … November 10, 2011

Cox’s Cove, NL - It is with great sadness that the family of the late Martha Barnes announce her passing on Thursday, November 10th, 2011 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 83 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her eight children: Loretta Gillingham, Harold (Bernice), John (Wanda), Michael (Lawrence), Darlene Ryan (Murray), Elaine Barnes (Taylor), Monica House (Harrison) and Charlotte Park (Bradley); 22 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren; sisters: Clara House and Amy Murrin (Edward); brothers: Luke Cox, William Cox (Josephine) and Ralph Cox (Jean); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Reginald, 1963; son Kevin, 1992; daughter Rowena Morgan, 2008, sons-in-law: Benjamin Gillingham, 1981, Cyril Morgan, 2006 and Eric Brake, 2007; sisters: Alfreda Buffett, Edna Janes and Eileen Welshman; brother: Walter Cox. Friends may visit Emmanuel Pentecostal Church in Cox’s Cove on Friday evening, 7-9:00p.m. and Saturday, 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. from where the funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 13th at 2:00 p.m. Pastor William Sampson officiating. The interment to follow at the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or to the Palliative Care Unit at Western Memorial Hospital.

Ella Warren
1934-2011

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ella Warren announce her passing at the Calder Health Centre in Burgeo on Sunday, November 13th, 2011 at the age of 77 years. The Funeral Service will take place from Faith United Church in Burgeo on Wednesday, November 16th at 1:30 p.m., Reverend Wilson Gonese officiating. Interment will follow at the Burgeo Community Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted.

Happy Valley - Goose Bay, NL - It is with great sadness that the family of the late Agnes G. Hall announce her passing on Sunday, November 13, 2011 at the Labrador Health Centre at the age of 83 years. She leaves to mourn her children: Pam (Robert), Carmel, Les (Marjorie), Ken (Berdina), Colin (Patti), Paul (Rhona); grandchildren: Dwayne (Frances), Leslie, Rick (Trudy), Jamie, Dayna (Jason), Christopher (Robin), Shaun, Shelley, Shylah (Ashton), Blair and 5 great-grandchildren; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Bernard, son Micheal David and granddaughter Shana. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Happy Valley - Goose Bay on Monday 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 16 at 2:00 p.m. from the Roman Catholic Church. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Roman Catholic Church.

Clyde Pink Sr.

Ramea, NL - It is with great sadness that the family of the late Clyde Pink Sr. announces his passing on Sunday, November 13th, 2011 at the Calder Health Centre in Burgeo at the age of 86 years. Friends may visit St. Boniface Anglican Church in Ramea on Monday and Tuesday from where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 16th at 2:00 p.m. Reverend Maryrose Colbourne officiating. The Interment will follow at St. Boniface Cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home.

Burgeo, NL - It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lucy Savoury announces her passing on Wednesday, November 9th, 2011 at the Health Science Centre in St. John’s at the age of 68 years. Friends may visit St. John The Evangelist Anglican Church in Burgeo on Saturday from where the funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 13th at 2:00 p.m. Reverend Maryrose Colbourne officiating. The Interment will follow at the Community Cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home.

Elizabeth Ann (Libby) O’Keefe
November 6, 1956 - October 27, 2011

Corner Brook, NL - It is with great sadness that the family of the late Libby O’Keefe announce her sudden passing on Thursday, October 27th, 2011 at Western Memorial Hospital at the age of 54 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband, Tony W. Crewe, of 33 years; beautiful daughter: Danielle and her husband Terry Pennell; two precious grandchildren: Marcel and Brealynn; mother: Mrs. Margaret O’Keefe; sisters: Mary (Jerry), Gloria (Mike), Annette (Joe) and Madonna (Eddy); brothers: Mick (Connie), Bob (Joan), Chris (Roseanne), Phil (Alma), Gord (Leigh) and Joe (Kim); father-in-law: Curt Crewe; sisters-in-law: Brenda (Don), Bernice (Harry), Doreen (Brian), Ivy, Lynn and June; brothers-in-law: Curt Jr. (Helen), Dale (Annette), Richard and Robert (Kathy); special Godchild: Ronnie Hann; as well as a very large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her loving father, Daniel O’Keefe and loving mother-in-law: Ella Crewe. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Saturday, 7-9:00 p.m. and Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 31st at 10:00 a.m. from Sacred Heart Church in Curling, with Father Edmund Camacho officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.

Ada Parsons
June 6, 1924 – September 30, 2011

Born in Meadows to Bryant and Caroline Brake, she died as she lived, in a quiet and peaceful manner at the Palliative Care Unit of WMRH. She was predeceased by her parents as well as her husband, Frank, and siblings Divine, Eric, Bryant, Milton, Maxwell and Elizabeth.
Lovingly remembered by her 7 children, 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren: Frank Jr. (Rhona) with Christopher, Philip (Ashley){Teigan}, and Maria; Manzel (Judy) with Erika (Donnie) Webber {Liam} and Nicole (Coady) LaFosse {Nicholas and Benjamin}; Newman (Mildred Payne) with Carla (Derm) Hayes; Terry (Ella) with Scott (friend, Candice Brake); Rockey with Jenny; Janice Park (Geordy Vincent) with Cory (Tracy) {Nathan and Lucas}and Jason (Amy Laffin); and Brenda (Darren) Park with Shiann and Shanna.
She also leaves to mourn her three sisters: Elsie Legge, Cedella Legge and Marjorie (Douglas) Coakwell as well as a large extended circle of family and friends.
Visitation will take place at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, St. Mark’s Avenue on Saturday 7-9 PM and Sunday 2-4 PM, and will continue from Holy Trinity Church, Meadows 8-9 PM as well as on Monday, 10 - 12 Noon. The funeral service will then take place at 2 PM. Reverend Malcolm Palmer officiating. The interment will follow at the Anglican cemetery.
Flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
God Bless her. May she rest in Peace.
