Predeceased by her husband Eldon (1991) . MAY, Phyllis – Passed peacefully away at Clarke’s Beach Pentecostal Senior Citizen’s home on Sunday, September 16, 2007, Phyllis May of Bay Roberts, aged 78 years. Predeceased by her parents Simon and Annie Ivany (nee-Garland) and brother William G. Ivany. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Eric of 52 years, sons Eric (Jean), Robert (Rowena), and David (Liz) . Sisters, Dolores (Realf) Saxton, Mary (Walter) Finch. Brothers Gerard (Dulcie), Raymond (Mary), and Doug (Dorothy) . Grandchildren, Erin (Justin), Allison, Ericka, Rebecca, Nicholas, and Jonas. Great-grandchild Leah, as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. McGRATH, Jack – Passed peacefully away at the James Paton Memorial Regional Health Centre in Gander on Saturday, September 15, 2007, Jack McGrath aged 83 years. Predeceased by his wife Martina (1999) . Leaving to mourn his daughter Marlyce Greene (Arthur) of Gander and son Tony (Linda) of Dartmouth NS; his grandchildren Martina, Daniel and Shannon Greene and Aaron, Sarah, Keegan and Michaela McGrath; his two sisters, Anna Cotter of Melrose TB and Catherine Foley of Grand Falls-Windsor; his brother Patrick of Grand Falls – Windsor; brother in law Urban Williams of Shoe Cove; special nephew Andrew Williams of Conception Bay South and many other relatives and friends. Predeceased by her husband Raymond Squires in October 1989. Leaving to mourn and celebrate her life, two daughters; Dallas Barnes (Ches) St. John’s; Eleanor Tucker (Barry) of St. Philip’s. LAHEY, Shirley Elizabeth – 1929 -2007 - Passed peacefully away on September 15, 2007, Shirley Lahey, at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Care Center, at the age of 77 years old. Shirley is predeceased by her husband Peter (July 1, 2002); parents, John and Martha Lewis of Deer Lake; brother Wilson Lewis; mother and father-in-law. Patrick and Emeline Lahey; special sister-in-law Mary O’Reilly; brothers-in-law: Patrick O’Reilly, Ambrose Morgan, and Walter Morgan of Bishop’s Falls. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are sons: Patrick (Karen) of Grand Falls-Windsor, Ronald of Bishop’s Falls; daughters: Emeline (Freeman Rideout) and Denise of Bishop’s Falls and Mary of Bishop’s Falls; also leaving to mourn her brothers: Raymond (Ena) Lewis and Otto (Olive) Lewis, both of Deer Lake; brother-in-law Ronald (Theresa); sisters-in-law: Josephine and Julie Morgan. Father Linus Coady conducted the funeral service at the Sacred Heart Church in Bishop’s Falls, on September 18, 2007. Interment was at the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Bishop’s Falls. Pallbearers were Tony Morgan, Leo Morgan, Neil O’Reilly, Johnny Roberts, Ron Lahey and Lindsey Williams. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Jim Maidment of Central Funeral Homes.
