Regina Esban
(August 5, 1924 - December 22, 2011)
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Regina Esban announce her passing at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Center on Thursday December 22, 2011 at the age of 87 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her brother Victor Esban (Jeannie), nephew Jay (Lisa), and close friends Linda & Ray Williams and Family. She is predeceased by her parents Jack & Esther Esban. Regina taught school for many years from the Seventh Day Adventas, from which she retired and was a strong member and supporter of the N.T.A. Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home 167 Country Road on Friday December 23, 2011 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. from where the funeral service will take place at 8 P.M. with Pastor Jerry Logan officiating. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
Hayward Martin
(March 5, 1928 - December 11, 2011)
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Hayward Martin announce his passing at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Centre on Sunday December 11, 2011 at the age of 83 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Mildred, sons Donald (Imelda), Ralph (Rosemary), Wayne (Shirley), daughters Sharon (Ron) Bennett, Christine (Craig) Kennedy, 8 grandchildren Sean, Tracy, Janis, Renee, Jordan, Colton, Stephanie, Brittany, 10 great grandchildren, sister Pearl Hodder, and a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He is predeceased by his parents Anora & Joseph Martin, step-mom Hannah, foster parents Dinah & Ralph Smith, sister Katherine Peddle & brother John Martin. Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home 167 Country Road on Wednesday December 14, 2011 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. and on Thursday December 15, 2011 from 10-12 A.M… Funeral Service will take place on Thursday December 15, 2011 at 2 P.M. from Westside Tabernacle, Elizabeth Street with Pastor Calvin Andrews officiating. Interment to take place at a later date in his home town of Little Hearts Ease. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Diabetes Association of a charity of one's choice.

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Roy Chesley Snook announce his passing at the Palliative Care Unit in the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Tuesday December 13, 2011 at the age of 83 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his loving wife of 56 years Greta (Nee Wheeler), children Linda (Bart Stringham) of Washington, DC, Brian (Ann Marie) of Ajax, ONT, Joanne (Wince Curnew, Rebecca Curnew), Sherri-Lynn (Rory Hoyles), grandchildren Kelly, Ian, Brian-Roy, Richard, Andrea, Krista-Lee, great grandchildren Erica, Carson, cousins Marie Rumbolt (Arch), and (Nina Pye) of Mary’s Harbour, Labrador. He is predeceased by his parents George Snook, and Sadie (Green) Snook. Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home 167 Country Road on Wednesday December 14, 2011 from 7-9 P.M. and will take place on Thursday December 15, 2011 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 P.M… Funeral Service will take place at the Cathedral of the St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, Main Street on Friday December 16, 2011 at 2 P.M. with Very Reverend Michael Rice officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. Ella Kathleen Levalliant
(February 19, 1923 - December 29, 2011)
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ella Levalliant announce her peaceful passing at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Center on December 29, 2011 at the age of 88 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories daughter Sharon (Reg Carter), granddaughter Sara (Martin Duchesne), four great grandchildren Gabriella, Sophie, Erik, Ava, Brother Calvin Noble (Verley), nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She is predeceased by her husband Ray (2004), sisters Dulcie and Grace. Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home 167 Country Road on Monday January 2, 2012 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. and on Tuesday January 3, 2011 from hours of 10-12 from where funeral service will take place at 1:30 P.M. at Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Marilyn Avery officiating, interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. He is predeceased by his parents Hector & Theresa DeGrace. Cremation has taken place. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories His wife Vonetta (Nee Wells) of 56 years, six children Sons Gary (Violet), Lawrence (Grace) of Corner Brook, daughters Alice (Dave) of Corner Brook, Susan (Angus) of Ontario, Kim (Darren) of Lark Harbour, Karen (Doug) of Corner Brook. ten Grandchildren Michelle, Cory, Nancy, David, Kellie, Robin, Larry, Kyle, Cody and Aaron, six Great Grandchildren Dawson, Chloe, Michael, Meraide, Nichols, Kaitlyn and Joshua, Addison, Brother Lawrence (Jean), sister Victoria Travers both of Lark Harbour, Sister In laws Sedella Wells and Lucy Sheppard, also a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents George and Maude Sheppard, Brothers John Sheppard (Elizabeth), Lionel Sheppard, Brother In Laws Alex Wells and Jack Travers, William and Alice Tapp, Edward and Ann Wells and Grandson Jody Penney. Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home on Thursday November 17th, 2011 from the hours of 2-4&7-9pm Cremation to follow, Memorial Service to be held on Saturday November 19th, 2011 @ 2pm from All Saints Anglican Church Clarence Street Corner Brook with Reverend Tanya White Officiating. Funeral Service will take place at the St. James Anglican Church, Lark Harbour on Sunday November 20, 2011 at 2 P.M., with Reverend Nellie Thomas officiating. Interment to follow at church cemetery.
