It is with great sadness that the family of Glenn Fraser White announce his passing at the Western Menorial Regional Hospital on December 28, 2011 at the age of 49 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories brothers Clifton (Marie), Allister, Lloyd, John, Sister Marjorie, and four nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by parents Sidney & Geraldine White, and Brother Kevin. Visitation to take place at Country Haven Funeral Home 167 Country Road on Friday December 30th, 2011 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 P.M… A private memorial and interment services will take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
Clarence Henry French
(October 19, 1933 - December 21, 2011)
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Clarence Henry French announce his passing at the Bonne Bay Health Center in Norris Point, NL on Wednesday December 21, 2011 at the age of 78 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 52 years Joyce, son John (Lesley), daughter Paula Mardel (Christian Vincent), Dave Mardel, grandchildren Davin, Bowen, Ryan, Jessica, sister Mable Macneil (Bernie), brother-in-laws Gerald Hall (Mae), Dawson Hall (Mary), sister-in-laws Rita, Dolores, Val Bower, Dorothy Whittle, Donna George. He is predeceased by brother-in-laws Joseph Hall, Curtis Milley, Tom, and Joseph. Cremation has taken place. Private family services will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home and interment will take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to The Bonne Bay Health Center. The family wishes to express sincere appreciation and thanks to the doctors and medical staff of the Bonne Bay Health Center.
Wilhelmina V. Caines
Passed peacefully away at her residence in St. John’s, on Saturday, September 13, 2003, Wilhelmina (Gill) Caines age 81 years.
Predeceased by husbands: Herbert Gill and Ted Caines. Left to cherish the memory of a loving mother are her children: Rick Gill (Pauline), Wanda (Wayne Fost), and Gordon Gill (Shelley); a devoted grandmother to Gregory and Peter Gill, Jason and Jeremy Fost, Mark and Brian Penney and granddaughter Julie Gill - “her precious angel”. Also survived by three stepchildren: Marilyn Burt, Bruce and Derrick Caines; sisters-in-law: Rosalie Dawe, Pamela Rose, and Dorothy Acreman; also many nieces, nephews, other relatives and her dear friends.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff at the Waterford and HSC Dialysis Units and at Elizabeth Towers. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Sunday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm and on Monday from 10am-12noon. Funeral service to be held from Barrett’s Chapel at 3:30 p.m. Monday, September 15, 2003. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Field of Honor. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the General Hospital Health Foundation.

(June 7, 1935 - December 27, 2011)
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Michael Cyril Gallant announces his passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on December 27, 2011 at the age of 76 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his children: Roy, Susan, Rodney, and Ida, 6 grandchildren, sister: Mary Wheeler, brother: Howard Gallant, as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Melvina, parents Michael and Sarah Gallant, sisters: Isabella Wade, Theresa Gallant, and Marjorie Hann, and brother: Frederick Gallant. Visitation will take place on Friday, December 30, 2011 from 2-3 pm at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road. A memorial service will take place immediately following at 3 pm at Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel with interment to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.

She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Ian of 40 years, daughters Treena Goodyear (friend Jason) of Parksville, BC, Janet Sweetapple (Dan) of Corner Brook, NL, grandchildren Tyson, Tescena, Ethan, Brother Jake, Sister Linda, Brother-in-law Ron Goodyear, Sister-in-law Margaret Goodyear, Nephews and Niece Jamie, Craig & Jeffrey Goodyear, Michelle Griffin and Mark Miller, Aunts, Uncles and cousins and many friends especially those from the Partridgeberry Point area. She is predeceased by parents Jacob and Louise Miller and Walter and Betty Miller, Parents-in-law - Gerald and Margaret Goodyear and Brother-in-law Tom Goodyear. Cremation has taken place. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Augustus Combdon, children Ron of Toronto, ONT, Rick (Cathy) of Fort McMurray Claire Gorman of Eastern Passage, NS, grandchildren Allison, Carter, Amber, Brodie and a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She is predeceased by mother Sophia White of Indian Buryin Place, NL, father Ephriam Combdon of Jackson’s Arm, NL, 5 siblings Beatty, Ralph, Mae, Reg, and Bill. Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home 167 Country Road on Wednesday December 7, 2011 from 7-9 P.M. and on Thursday December 8, 2011 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 P.M… Funeral Service will take place at St. Michael's & All Angels Anglican Church on Friday December 9, 2011 at 11 A.M. with Venerable Reverend Edward King officiating. It is with great sadness that the family of the late Harry Butt announces his passing at the Palliative Care Unit, Western Memorial Regional Hospital on November 18, 2011 at the age of 83 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories three children Arlene (Ed) Buckle of Grande Prairie, AB, Ellen (Sean) Sweetapple of Corner Brook and Max (Nancy) Butt of Cold Lake, AB, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by Jean Mudge and her sons Terry (Kim) and Todd, Beryl & Roy Court, Glenis & John Wiber and many other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Pat in 1999. Cremation has taken place.
