Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories is his partner and best friend of 27 years Sheila and pop’s little angel Classy (puppy); daughter Lynn Hurd (Jeff) of Whitby, ON.; brother Ches (Phyllis) of Chamberlains, CBS.; sister Madeline Wight of St. John’s; grandchildren Jillian and Brandon Hurd; several nieces, nephews and special nephew Doug Stephens; and a large circle of other relatives and many friends.

Passed peacefully away at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, NL, August 20, 2008.
Thomas was predeceased by his son Edgar (1994); parents Thomas (Sr.) and Julia (Blackwood) and step-mother Annie (Hoyles); infant brother Douglas; brother Boyce; brother-in-law Harold Winsor and in-laws Edgar and Violet Winsor.
Left with loving memories are his wife and care giver Marie; three sons Frank (Louise), William (Lillian Maher) and Anthony; two daughters Gail, Jean (Anthony Edison); seven grandchildren and four special great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild. Also fondly remembered by Audrey (Bruce Gibbons) and family; daughter-in-law Patsy Winsor; sister-in-law Ruby Winsor; nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
