Predeceased by her parents, Bertram and Isabell Roberts, son, Patrick and brother, Chesley. Leaving to mourn her husband, Gordon Alexander. BUTT, Charles Raymond - passed away suddenly at his home in Clarenville in the presence of his family on 28 March 2003, Charles R. Butt, formerly of Carbonear, St. John`s and Musgravetown, Bonavista Bay, in his 86th year. Former employee of Canadian National Railways and Honorary Life Member of Musgravetown Lions Club. Predeceased by his parents, William Harvey and Charlotte Jane (Flight) Butt, brother Harry (1997), sisters Catherine (Feltham) (1992), Jane (Strong) (2001) and Louise (Pippy) (2002). Left to mourn with warm memories are his wife of 61 years, Betty (Matthews); daughters Yvonne (Peter) Godfrey and Charlene, Clarenville; grandchildren Robyn, Stratford, Ont., and Dianne, Gander; brother Edison, Seal Cove; brother-in-law Levi Matthews, Musgravetown; sisters-in-law Viola Butt, St. John`s, Barbara Saint, Louise Stead, Musgravetown, and Charlotte Newman, Florida, and a large circle of friends. SNELGROVE, Warren P. - Of Woburn, Massachusetts, USA, passed away at the Sutton Hill Nursing Home in North Andover, Massachusetts, on Monday morning, April 7. He was 81 years of age. Born and raised in Cambridge, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Ambrose and the late Beatrice (LaShane) Snelgrove. Warren had lived in Lower Island Cove, Newfoundland, for ten years before coming to Woburn, Massachusetts in 1973. He is survived by one brother, Paul C. Snelgrove of Woburn, Massachusetts. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Mary Snelgrove of Wilmington, Massachusetts, and three nieces. In addition to his parents, Warren was predeceased by one brother, the late Robert E. Snelgrove. A graveside service will be held at the Mount Auburn cemetery, 580 Mt. Auburn St., Cambridge, Massachusetts, on Wednesday, April 9, at 12:00 Noon. SWANSON, Margaret (Comerford) - Passed peacefully away with courage and dignity on March 28, 2003, aged 88 years, after a lengthy illness. Predeceased by her parents Anne and Richard Comerford, her brothers Bob, Bill and Harry, sisters Eleanor and Mollie (Browne). Leaving to mourn her devoted husband of 60 years, Eric, her children Brian, Eleanor and Mary, brothers-in-law Roy Swanson (Yvette) of Vancouver, Glenn Swanson (Mary) of Mississauga, her many nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as many dear friends and caregivers. She grew up in Hearts Content and spent most of her life in Buchans. It was a full and joyful life which she lived in her own unique way, always caring for family and friends. She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered. Resting at Caul`s Funeral Home, Lemarchant Road. Visitation from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on March 30-31.
