MOSHER, H. Jean, age 93, of Windsor, formerly of Newport Station and Ste. Croix, Hants County, passed away Tuesday, March 22nd, 2005, in Dykeland Lodge, Windsor, with her family at her side. Born on March 6th, 1912, in Newport Station, Hants County, Nova Scotia, she was the only daughter of the late Ernest and Sophia (Lunn) Fielding. Jean loved camping, traveling and visiting her friends. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by daughters, Joan (Andrew) Gibson, Newport Station; Myrna (Roger) LeBlanc, Halifax; sons, Victor (Linda), Newport Station; Glen (Eleanor), Halifax; Neil (Gena), Halifax; 20 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; 9 great great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Halley Victor Mosher (1984); son, Roger Mosher (2002); brothers, Lawrence and Calvin Fielding. Visitation 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday, March 24th, in Lindsay’s Windsor Funeral Home, 194 King Street, Windsor. Funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, March 25th, 2005, in St. Thomas Anglican Church, Three Mile Plains, with Rev. David Curry officiating. Interment in the Ste. Croix Cemetery, St. Croix. KELLEY, Charles Graham “Charlie”, age 57, of Three Mile Plains, Hants County, passed away on Monday, March 21st, 2005, at the Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born on June 19th, 1947, in Windsor, Hants County, Nova Scotia, he was a son of the late Charles Graham and Beulah (Purvis) Kelley. Charlie was employed for over 38 years, at Dexter Construction (Municipal Contracting), until ill health (Sept. 17/2004). He loved fishing, hunting and also enjoyed playing broomball, baseball and hockey. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, the former Beverly “Bev” Ann Anderson; son, Robert Kelley (Tina Schofield), Garlands Crossing; daughters, Kimberly (Wayne) Barkhouse, Ellershouse; Thelma (Garnet) Richards, Upper Rawdon; grandchildren, Shelly, Chad, Austin and Amber Richards; Sasha Spence-Kelley; Zach Campbell; brothers, David (Angie) Kelley, Three Mile Plains; Barry (Valerie) Kelley, Brooklyn; Darrell (Theresa) Kelley, Dartmouth; Roy (Betty) Kelley, Wentworth Road, Hants County; Wayne Kelley, Auburn, Kings County; Terry (Susan) Kelley, Windsor; sisters, Marilyn Comeau, Three Mile Plains; Judy (Ernie) Whitsitt, Three Mile Plains; Dawn (Butch) Cleveland, Windsor; Nita (Wiley) Hines, Brickton; Karen Kelley, Auburn; several nieces and nephews. Robert "Robbie" Walter McClare

* McCLARE……Robert Walter “Robbie”, age 49, of Windsor, formerly of Hillsvale, Hants County, passed away Wednesday, February 9th, 2005, at the Hants Community Hospital, Windsor, after a lengthy illness. Born on April 17th, 1955, in Windsor, Hants County, Nova Scotia, Robbie was the eldest son of Walter and Helen (Dunbar) McClare, Hillsvale. Robbie was an MLB Licensed Lumber Grader and a professional tractor trailer operator for McClare Bros. Ltd., Hillsvale. When he was not working, he enjoyed applying his mechanical skills to engine tune-ups or building race cars. He loved music and played keyboard for a local rock band in the 70’s. He continued to play piano for friends and family until the progression of his illness prevented it. He is survived by his children, Matthew and Melanie, and their mother, Olivia (Crowe) McClare, of Hillsvale. As well as his parents, he is also survived by his sisters, Margaret (Marc) LaPointe, Scarsdale; Dr. Anna (Mitchell) Brison, Falmouth; Nancy (Kevin) McMillan, Toronto; Sarah (Allison) Scott, Fall River; brother, Fred McClare (Maria Wong), Three Mile Plains; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Horace & Alice (Lyon) McClare; paternal step-grandmother, Leta (Barnes) Neaves-McClare; maternal grandparents, Seymour & Margaret (Ross) Dunbar. Visitation 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday, February 11th, in Lindsay’s Windsor Funeral Home, 194 King Street, Windsor. Funeral service will be held, 2 p.m. Saturday, February 12th, 2005, in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Clarence Bungay and Rev. Donald McClare officiating. Cremation to follow, with a private burial at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Robbie, may be made to the Hants Community Hospital Foundation or a charity of choice.

* MUNRO……Laurien Wilfred “Laurie”, age 100, formerly of Greenhill, Hants County, passed away on Friday, January 28th, 2005, at the Annandale Rest Home, Wolfville. Born on November 3rd, 1904, in Scotts Bay, Kings County, Nova Scotia, he was a son of the late John A. and Rose A. (Hazel) Munro. Laurien worked as a farmer, a woodsman, a labourer and was working as a night watchman, when he retired at 78 years of age. Laurien, is survived by many nieces and nephews and was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by sisters, Vera (Mrs. Donald Smith); Marion (Mrs. Ernest Hazel); his twin sister, Laura (Mrs. Elwood Rogers); brother, Vaughan (Emma) Munroe; nieces, Helen, Mrs. Earl Parker; Donelda Wilson (Willis of Edmonton, Alta.); Patricia Smith; nephew, Eldon Hazel (Mildred of Greenhill). Visitation, 10 a.m. until noon, Sunday, in Lindsay’s Windsor Funeral Home, 194 King Street, Windsor. Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, January 30th, 2005, in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness, Sweets Corner, with Mr. Willard Smith officiating. Charles Ross “Charlie” Murdoch, age 63, of Tonge Hill, Hants County, passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2004, at his home.
Born in Windsor, Nova Scotia, he was the son of the late Charles Arthur and Irene (McPhee) Murdoch.
He was employed for over 20 years, with the Nova Scotia Liquor Commission, retiring in December 2002. He was a veteran firefighter of the Windsor Fire Department. He also worked for 10 years as an Imperial Oil Agent, Windsor.
Surviving is his loving wife of 39 years, the former Marina Weatherbee; daughters, Christina (John) Sheppard, Falmouth; Gina (Jason) Cochrane, Windsor; son, Scott (Paula) Murdoch, South Brook, Newfoundland; grandchildren, John, Jason and Chad; sister, Delores (Bert) Bell, Brandon, Manitoba; also surviving is a daughter, Kim (Rob) Bland and their children, Nicholas, Christopher and Victoria, of New Glasgow.
Cremation has taken place under the care of Lindsay’s Windsor Funeral Home, 194 King Street, Windsor.
No visitation by request.
Funeral service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, November 28th, 2004, in the Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Bill Gibson officiating. Burial will be held at a later date.

Gordon Edmund Allen, 88, of Rocks Road, St. Croix, Hants County, passed away Wednesday, November 24th, 2004, at home.
Born on January 11th, 1916, in St. Croix, Nova Scotia, he was a son of the late Edward and Hattie (Sweet) Allen.
He was a life long farmer, working on the family farm “Rocks Farm”. He was a devoted farmer and horseman. Gordon was a councilor for Municipality of West Hants for 12 years (1969-82), representing the St. Croix and District. He was past president of the Ste. Croix Community Club and was also chairman and member of the Ste. Croix Cemetery Commission.
He is survived by sisters, Lillian (William) Cochrane, St. Croix; Hazel (Leonard) Orr, St. Lambert, Quebec; Della Allen, Halifax; brother, Lloyd Allen, St. Thomas, Ontario; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a sister, Mirabel Woodill; brothers, Edward, Ralph, twins: Carl and Frank, Wilfred, Angus and Clarence.
Visitation 7-9 p.m. Saturday, November 27th, in Lindsay’s Windsor Funeral Home, 194 King Street, Windsor, where funeral service will be held, 1 p.m. Sunday, November 28th, 2004, in the Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Karen Pearce officiating. Interment in the Ste. Croix Cemetery, St. Croix.
