Mr. James Milton Sparks
July 28, 1930 - October 10, 2007

SPARKS, James Milton - Beloved son of the late John and Blanche Sparks passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 10, 2007, in St. Michael's Hospital, Toronto, Ont., at the age of 77. A memorial service was held in Toronto on Saturday, October 13th. James, beloved and devoted father, is survived by Rick (James), Dale, Victor, Shawn, and Tammi; his nine grandchildren; and his sisters, Mary, Helen and Laura. After moving to Toronto in the early 1950s he began his employment with Oxford Developments where he remained loyal for 30 years. During those early years in Toronto he met and married a beautiful young woman, the late Beverly Anne Cadieux, who later became the mother of his five children. He will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate to know him. Blessed with a gentle, warm and cheerful disposition, he will be remembered by family and friends as an outstanding and special father, brother, and uncle with a remarkably witty sense of humour and an exceedingly generous spirit. The family wishes to honour the cherished memories of our beloved James "Jimmy" as a gift of love in the enrichment of our family life. James had distinct and defined values, morals and beliefs; and these largely centered around family life. His love, adoration and devotion for his children and grandchildren, as well as his sisters and brothers, was always apparent as he rarely missed an opportunity to express his unwavering love for them.
