Loved grandfather of Donald Jason Dawdy and his wife Karissa, Michael Brent Dawdy and his wife Kim, Krista Robin Wakeling and Sandra Grace Wakeling and great grandfather of Dakota Brooke Dawdy. Extended family to Marianne and John Blankenship and family of Corunna. Don was born at Iona Station on January 29, 1928, the son of the late Kenneth Ford and Grace Dickie (Marshall) Firby. He was a retired R.P.N. at the Ontario Hospital, St. Thomas. He was a member of the Living Hope Church, St. Thomas, a member of the R.A.A. (Recreational Aircraft Association) and the Full Gospel Business Men. Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin St., St. Thomas where funeral service will be held Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. Interment Shedden cemetery. Robinson - Robert Wayne (Bob), at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital, on Sunday, October 5, 2003. Bob Robinson, in his 59th year, dearly loved husband of Sylvia G. (Noseworthy) Robinson, and father of Wanda Longhurst and her husband Russell of St. Thomas, Robert S. Robinson of St. Thomas, and Jackie Brown and her husband Kevin of Aylmer. Loved son of Tiny (Hopper) Robinson of St. Thomas, and the late George Robinson. Brother of George Robinson and his wife Doris of New Brunswick, Russell Robinson and his wife Geraldine of Brantford, Jim Robinson and his wife Brenda of Peterborough, Jack Robinson and Roy Robinson of Aylmer, Nellie Robinson of St. Thomas, and the late Charles (Sandy) Robinson of Manitoba. Bob will be missed by his seven grandchildren. Born in St. Thomas, November 20, 1944, he had lived and worked all of his life in the Aylmer and St. Thomas area. The family will receive their friends at the R. E. Allen Funeral Chapel, 31 Elgin St., St. Thomas, from 7 to 9 P.M. Wednesday evening. At Bob s request there will be no funeral or memorial service.
