SPLINT, Anna Wilhelmina - Went to be with the Lord, at Guelph General Hospital, on Thursday, July 24, 2008. Anna was in her 80th year. She was the beloved wife of Hendrik (Henk) Splint for 54 years. She was the dear mother and mother-in-law of Mary and her husband David, Albert and his wife Claire, Jim and his wife Janet, Michael and his wife Judy and Sylvia and her husband Paul. Oma-Anna will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Jason, Matthew, Jonathan and his wife Michelle, Kristopher, Jesse, Alyssa, Steven, Danny, Shawn, Jenny and great-grandchild, Lauren. She was the dear sister of Thea of Kleve, Germany. Anna was predeceased by her parents, Jacob Kroes and Maria Helmes. Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel , 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph on Monday, July 28, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Vigil for Anna will be held on Monday at 7 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Boniface Church, Maryhill, on Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at 10 a.m. Interment St. Boniface cemetery , Maryhill. As expressions of sympathy, donations to a charity of one's choice would be appreciated by the family.

TREMBLAY, John Ronald - Peacefully, in his sleep, passed away, at Peachtree Christian Hospice in Duluth, Georgia, on Wednesday, August 6, 2008 at the age of 75 years. Beloved husband of his late wife Marjorie Anne (Gigi) and loving father of Kelly Anne, her husband Tim Martin, John Donovan and his wife, Tina Tremblay. Grandfather (Gramps) to Jacqueline, Ryan and Dylan. Dear brother to Jill; brother-in-law, Paul Flinn, Peter; sister-in-law, Vickie and predeceased by his brother Paul. He will be sadly missed by his family, nieces, nephews and friends. "We love you and hold our special memories close to our hearts." A Memorial Visitation will take place at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home , 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, on Tuesday, August 12, 2008 from 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Service will take place at the Dublin Chapel on Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at 11:30 a.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

VALENTINUZZI, Clorinda (Ena) - At St. Joseph's Health Centre, Guelph on Monday, August 25, 2008. Clorinda (Ena) (Bandiera) Valentinuzzi, born December 12, 1920, was the loving wife of the late Aldo Valentinuzzi (1992). She was the beloved mother of Reg Valentinuzzi (Louise) and Mary Pugliese (Alfredo), all of Guelph. Ena was the dearest grandmother of Paul Pugliese (Carolyn) of London, and Michael Pugliese of Woodbridge. She was the daughter of the late Girolomo Bandiera and Vittoria (Agnoletto). Ena was the loving sister of Mary Basso (the late Reno) and twin brother, John (the late Marj) and the late Rose Bandiera (July 2008), all of Mississauga. She is survived by cousins, nieces and nephews in Ontario, Alberta, and British Columbia and relatives in Italy. We wish to express our deepest gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and staff at the Guelph General Hospital and St. Joseph's Health Centre for their compassionate care of our mother during her illness. A special thank you goes to Dr. Chris Stemerdink for his concern and care for our mother. Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel , 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, where the family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, August 28, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. Interment Marymount cemetery , Guelph. VETTORETTO, Franco Guiseppe
The family of Franco Vettoretto sadly announce his sudden but peaceful passing on Friday morning, August 1, 2008 at St. Joseph's Health Care Centre, Guelph at the age of 44 years. Franco was the dear father of Joshua and Chelsea and beloved son of Bortolo and Luigia Vettoretto. Franco was much loved and will be sadly missed by his sisters and brother, Sylvia (Paul), Flavio (Sharon), Daniella (Domonic) and nieces and nephews Dean, Paula, Keenan, Sofia, Jade, Cody and Adrian. Also survived by many aunts and uncles and cousins across Canada, Italy, Switzerland and Australia. He will be greatly missed by the loving and caring dedicated staff at St. Joseph's Health Care Centre.
Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, "Dublin Chapel". 252 Dublin Street, North, Guelph where the family will recieve friends on Monday August 4, 2008 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A vigil will be held at the funeral home at 8:30pm Monday. A funeral mass will take place at Holy Rosary Church, 175 Emma Street, Guelph Tuesday August 5, 2008 at 11:30am. Entombment Marymount Mausoleum Guelph. Donations on Franco's behalf can be made to the St. Joseph's Health Care Foundation or to the MS Society.

WINTERS, Scott - passed away tragically, on Friday, August 22, 2008, in North Bay, Ontario, at the age of 40. Scott was the loving husband of Brenda Lewis; caring father of Jamie and Riley Winters (Lisa Tutton); and step-father of Adam and Janna Lewis. He will be remembered forever by his parents, Danny and Deanna Winters; and his sister, Tina Winters (Steve Lagace); and nephews, Johnny and Tyler. Scott will be sadly missed by his N.A. and Stonehenge families. Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel , 252 Dublin Street, North, Guelph where the family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, August 29 from 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, August 30, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Donation in Scott's memory can be made to the Brain Injury Association of Waterloo-Wellington.

WOODWARD, Emily Anne Phelps – passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Health Centre on July 24th, 2008. A memorial service will take place at First Baptist Church, Guelph, on Wednesday, August 20th, 2008, at 2 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to either Michael House Pregnancy Care Centre or Guelph and Area Right to Life Association would be appreciated by the family.

AMOS, Nancy Jean -- passed away peacefully at the Guelph General Hospital on Sunday, December 11, 2005. Nancy Jean Amos, was the beloved wife of Bill. She was the dear mother of Lindsay and Kevin. Nancy is fondly remembered by her two brothers Bob Price and Steve Price, and by her mother-in-law Jean and brother-in-law Bob (and Debbie).

AVERY, Barbara Ellen -- Peacefully, at her home, surrounded by her family, after a brave and courageous battle with cancer, on Friday, Dec. 9, 2005. Barb Avery, in her 48th year, was the beloved wife of Rich and mother of Jen. Rich and Jen were Barb's world. Predeceased by her parents, the late Emily (2001) and Richard (1993) Jolley. Dear sister of Arlene Carere and her husband Paul and Nancy McGill and her husband Jack. Fondly remembered by by her nieces and nephews, Andrea, DeeAnn, Danielle, Meaghan, Laura, John, Leslie and Colin. Dear daughter-in-law of Mary and the late Richard Avery of Kitchener. Sister-in-law of Karen Kropf and her husband Dave, Kathy Larson and her husband Jeff, and Gwen Foley and her husband Brian. Special friend of Sandra, Sophie, Pat and Connie. Barb had many longtime friends and she met a lot of friends along the way. Barb never complained about her pain and put on a brave front for those she loved. William will be fondly remembered by grandchildren Michael, Timothy, and Chris and Vicki Muller and families, and by a special cousin Paul Chymiy.

Francesca was the dear sister of Nicola (Luisa), Valente (Emilia), Tom (Lucy) and the late Albert Della Croce and sister-in-law of Iolanda Della Croce.
