July 25, 1978 - September 28, 2012
It is with broken hearts that we regretfully announce the sudden passing of our beloved Charlie on Friday, September 28, 2012 at the age of 34. He leaves his beloved wife Patricia (nee Medeiros), his adoring parents Vincenzo and Maria Di Trapani and his cherished little sister, Jessica. Loving son-in-law to Evenio and Rosa Medeiros. Brotherin-law to Nelton and Randy Medeiros and big brother to Masood Habib, Nico and Romeo. Charlie leaves an abundance of family and friends who dearly loved him and will remember him always. Visitation at Friscolanti Funeral Chapel, 43 Barton St. E, on Monday and Tuesday, 2 4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers on Tuesday at 2 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of The Assumption Church on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at 10 a.m. Entombment to follow at Resurrection cemetery , Ancaster.In lieu of flowers, donations in Charlie’s memory to the Heat and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by his family.

Dante DiFrancesco
June 24, 1926 - September 26, 2012
Surrounded by his loving children, on Wednesday, September 26, 2012, at the age of 86, Dante joined his beloved wife, Louise (Fonzi). Dante was a retired employee of Stanley Works of Canada (43 years). He was an avid sports fan. He played football with the Tigers in the late 40's, golfed with his brothers, and had become the Toronto Blue Jays number one fan. Dante was a member of the Sons of Italy, and volunteered his time at both the St. Anthony's and the Sons of Italy's bingo. He loved his garden, making wine and embracing his grandchildren. Dante touched the lives of everyone he met, his door always open, with unconditional love for his family and friends. He will be dearly missed by his children, Diane and Ward (Campbell), MaryAnn and Lorenzo (Mostacci), Ray and Lynn (DiFrancesco); his cherished grandchildren, Michael, Ryan, Carl, Melanie, Krista, Laura, Emile, Marla, Greg, Brandon, Amy, Dante, Carley, David, and his greatgrandchildren, Gabrielle, Jackson and soon to arrive, baby Mercier. Also survived by his devoted sister and brother-in-law, Tina and Bill Bradburn and his dear sister-in-law, Doreen DiFrancesco. Sadly missed by the Fonzi family from North Tonawanda, New York. Predeceased by his parents, Gianfelice and Erminia DiFrancesco; his brothers Louie (Lydia), and Johnny; and his sister Inez (Primo Salvatori). Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton Street East, on Saturday from 7-9 p.m., Sunday from 1-3 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers are Sunday at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass at Incarnation of Our Lord Church at Barton and Nash on Monday, October 1st at 10 a.m. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre cemetery , Burlington. Surrounded by her loving family, at St. Peter's Hospital on Thursday, September 27, 2012, in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of Giovanni for sixtytwo years. Loving mother of Rocc (Rose), Antonietta Vitulli (Giovanni), Carmelina Beltrano (Paolo), Micheal (Avril). Mamma Nonna to Vincenza (Frank), Amedeo, Giovanni (Tammy), John Jr. (Eileen), Pacifico (Juliana), Anthony (Amanda), Tina (Mark) and great-grandchildren Sophia, Jacob, Olivia, Elisa, Cristiano, Eliana, John Luca, Paolo, Anthony, Alessia and Melina. Survived by her sisters Felicetta and Rosina, and her brothers Vincenzo (Concettina) Donato, and Francesco. Predeceased by her sister Angelina and brother Salvatore. Concettina was very devoted to her faith and opened her heart and home to many in her reverence for St. Joseph and St. Benedetta. She loved her family, she was happiest on Sundays when family and friends dropped in for dinner. She was kind, compassionate, congenial and pleasing to all. The family would like to thank the staff of St. Peter's Hospital for their care and our gratitude is extended to Dr. Laing and especially Dr. G. Cox of the Firestone Respiratory Clinic. (July 28, 1951 - May 14, 2011)
NIKA, Nedeljko - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Nedeljko Nika, who passed away at the Hamilton General Hospital on May 14, 2011, at the age of 59. Dear son of Traian and the late Anna. Cherished by his loving sisters Joyce (Carlos) Mendes and Dianna (Mike) Henderson. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation will be held at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton Street East (near James) on Wednesday from 5-9 and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Panachyda Thursday at 7 p.m. A Funeral Service will be offered at Holy Resurrection Romanian Church on Friday at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Woodland cemetery. Loving you was easy, to forget you is impossible.

Antonio Schiavo
(December 29, 1936 - June 19, 2011)
Peacefully with his family by his side at the Juravinski Hospital on Sunday June 19, 2011 in his 75th year. Predeceased by his beloved wife Antonia. Loving father of Angelo Schiavo and his wife Mary and Robert Schiavo and his wife Tracy. He will be lovingly remembered by his spouse Angela Venditti. Cherished grandfather of Breanne and Nicholas. Dear brother of Teresa Mastrovito (Frank), Pat Schiavo (Cheryl), and Guy Schiavo (Mary). He will be missed by his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends in Australia, Italy and the United States. Antonio was the Pioneer of the Schiavo Family here in Canada. He paved the way for the rest of his family to come from Italy. He was a hard-working man who had a passion for his garden, helping people, and was an avid wine maker. Visitation will be held at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton Street East (near James) on Thursday from 6-9 pm and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Vigil Prayers Friday at 8 pm. George Baboth
December 4, 1959 - September 26, 2012
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of George Robert Baboth on September 26, 2012. George will be missed by his wife Helen, daughter Cassandra, son Anthony, mother Emi, sisters Anna and Cathy, and many friends and family. Predeceased by his father George Sr. George was a long time employee of St. Joseph's Hospital as a Maintenance Mechanic. Special thanks to the caring nurses Sarah, Carla, and Maria (his girls) at St. Joseph's Hospital. In respecting George's wishes cremation has taken place. Visitation at the FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton Street East (near James Street), on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 p.m. until the time of a Memorial Service in the chapel at 4 p.m. A celebration of Georges life will be held at the Macassa Bay Yacht Club following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Hamilton Minor Lacrosse Association would be appreciated by the family.

Adalgisa D'Antonio (nee Marfisi)
February 28, 1929 - October 3, 2012
It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to a wonderful loving special lady. At home, peacefully with her children by her side, Adalgisa passed away Wednesday October 3, 2012 at the age of 83. Predeceased by her husband Carmine. Loving Mother of Peter (Marg), Sue (Ray), Julie (Paul), and Tony (Tammy). Proud and loving Grandmother of Jason (Theresa), Laura, David, Jennifer, Katie (Graham), Jenny (Jorden), Jonathan (Julia), Carmine, Brandon, Adele, and Merisa. Very proud Great-Grandmother of Michela and Carmine D’Antonio, Luca and Milena D’Antonio. Adalgisa was also a very loving and caring Grandmother to many foster children. Dear sister-in-law of Louie (Rose) D’Antonio and Maria (Ron) Fraser. Predeceased by her siblings Fiorina, Lucia, Vittorio, Italo, Angelina and Chicaela. Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Adalgisa had a special spot in many peoples hearts, a very warm, caring and loving lady. Special thank you to Dr. Drijber and Haldimand CCAC workers. Loving father of Carlo and his wife Mary, Aldo and his wife Janet and John. Dear Nonno of Sara, Vanessa, Peter and Robert. Dear brother and brother in law of Dora and the late Michele, the late Domenico, the late Severino, the late Eugenio and Ada, Amelia and the late Antonio, the late Militina and Giovanni Sanza, Alessandro and Giuseppina. Survived by many nieces, nephews and cousin in Canada and Italy. Anne Marie DiLello
(April 5, 1924 - May 28, 2011)
passed away on Saturday May 28, 2011. Beloved daughter of the late Sam and the late Lora DiLellio. Predeceased by her sisters, Helen, Mary, and Jean, and, by her brothers, Lawrence, John, Sam, and Norman. Fondly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews. Anne was a long time employee of Westinghouse. In respecting Anne’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Ann’s Church (corner of Barton Street East and Sherman Avenue) on Saturday June 11, 2011 at 10 a.m. Interment of cremated remains to follow at Holy Sepulchre cemetery. If desired Memorial Donations to McMaster Children’s Hospital would be appreciated by the Family.

Marjorie White
(September 8, 1928 - May 28, 2011)
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that our family announces the passing of Marjorie White on Saturday May 28th, 2011 in her 84 th year with her loving family by her side at Townsview Lifecare Center. Marjorie born September 8th, 1928 in Young’s Cove, Queen’s County, New Brunswick. Beloved and devoted wife of the late Douglas Norman White for 54 years who sadly passed away in the year 2001. Predeceased by her mother Betsy Ferris (1972), son Darrel (2008). Loving mother to Greg (Kelly), Jack (Patricia), Bob (Wanda), Richard, Shawn, Sharon (Norman) of Kierstead, New Brunswick, JoAnn (Tim), Debbie (Al), Mary-Lou, Betty (Robert), Pauline (Ed). Marjorie who has left behind a legacy of 36 grandkids, 32 great-grandkids and 3 great-great-grandkids. We would like to thank all the staff on the second floor at Townsview for their dedication, love, and support in our most difficult time. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimers Society would be greatly appreciated by her family. Visitation will be held at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton Street East (near James) on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-9 pm where a Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Friday June 3, 2011 at 10 am. John Fortino
(November 2, 1934 - May 17, 2011)
Surrounded by his loving family at home, after a courageous battle with cancer, it is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of Giovanni (John) Fortino on May 17, 2011, at the age of 76. John was truly a pioneer, the founding "heart" behind the "Supermarket with a Heart". In every aspect of his life, he lived with the highest morals and integrity,something that will resonate forever through family and friends. John was a father figure to many many young men and women over the years. His patient, calm leadership was matched only by his determination - a model President that was both deeply admired and truly inspirational. His commitment and dedication to family and the community at large has been recognized by receiving the Order of Italy, Italo-Canadian Citizen of the Year, inducted into the Hamilton Gallery of Distinction, the Heart of Gold Award (Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation), the Canadian Achiever Award along with many many others. He was most currently the President of the Donnici Social Club. Although John was honoured and humbled by this recognition and achievements, his heart and soul belonged to his family. John is survived by his beloved and devoted wife of 51 years, Pileria (nee Mazzuca); his three loving daughters and sons-in-law, Luana and her husband Domenic Raso,Mara and her husband Peter Marlow, Eva and her husband Joe Losurdo. He will be profoundly missed by his adoring grandchildren,Tonya, Vincent, John-Michael, William, Jessica, Michael and Luke. Dear brother of the late Maria and her husband Stan Filice, Gina and her husband Umberto Spanguolo, Angela and her husband Franco Carobelli, Ada and her husband Armando Caruso. Dear brother-in-law of the late Eugenio Mazzuca and his wife Rosina, Maria and the late Francesco Gallo, the late Francesco Mazzuca and his wife Maria, Rosa and her late husband Antonio Scornaienchi, in Italy; the late Raffaele Mazzuca and his wife Chiara, the late Giovanni Mazzuca and his wife Elvira, Ida and her late husband Ignazio Filice, Santo Mazzuca and his wife Ida, Antonio Mazzuca and his wife Giuseppina. He will also be dearly missed by many nephews, nieces, cousins and dear friends. Special gratitude to Dr. Lino Lagrotteria, and his nurse Luisa. A special thanks to the home caregivers Valerie, Lori, Bonnie, Debbie, Paul and Christine. Visitation at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton Street East(near James), Thursday 3-9 p.m. and Friday 2-5 and 6-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers on Friday at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass at St.Margaret Mary Church, Saturday at 10 a.m. with entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre cemetery.
