SARTOR, Shane Anthony - (August 29, 1965 - September 4, 2008). passed away at St. Michael's Hospital, Toronto, on Thursday, September 4, 2008. Shane was the loving son of Guido and Olive (nee Cunningham) of Guelph, and dear brother of Shelley Sartor. He will be missed by Guido's "little brother", Jeff Eberhardt and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated for Shane at Church of Our Lady on Saturday, October 4, 2008, at 11 a.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Michael's Hospital Foundation, ww.stmichaelshospital.com, would be appreciated by the family.

SCHROEDER, George -- Peacefully passed away, at the Guelph General Hospital, on Tuesday, December 13, 2005 in his 83rd year. George Schroeder was the loving husband of Gertrude for 57 years. He will be lovingly remembered by seven children Hannelore, Margaret, Norbert, Ron, George, Peter, Walter, and all their spouses. George was the loving Opa to 14 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. He will be fondly missed by many nieces and nephews. Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, where family will receive friends on Thursday 7 -9 p.m. and Friday 10 a.m. - 12 noon. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel, on Friday, December 16, 2005 at 12 noon. Interment Memory Gardens, Breslau.

SINSTEAD, Rev. Ronald (Ronel), (December 3, 1930 - August 23, 2007) - For so long he fought with courage and dignity. The battle over, he dwells forever free in the love and presence of God, and we who love his so and miss him, now bid him Godspeed on his spiritual journey. He spent his life entertaining through marching bands, dancing and music, and helped countless people since becoming an ordained Unity Minister in 1979. Ronel is survived by his wife, Cora (Cori) (nee Swartzentruber); two children, Dale (Jennifer) Sinstead of Burlington and Carmen (Mark) Mallrich of San Diego, Calif.; his four grandchildren, Kira, Dylan, Connor Sinstead, and Andrew Mallrich. Remembered by his sister, Dorothy (Fred) Johnson of Scarborough; sisters-in-law, Helen (Andy) Sararas of St. Agatha and Audrey (Alvin) Sararas of New Dundee; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Albert and Kathleen Sinstead; and his brother, Gordon. Cremation has taken place. A private family memorial will be held. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Community Care Access Centre, 450 Speedvale Avenue West, Suite 201, Guelph ON N1H 7G7 would be appreciated by the family.

SPRUNG, Harry Clinton (Veteran W.W.II) -- passed away peacefully, at St. Joseph's Health Centre, on Sunday, October 9, 2005. Harry C. Sprung in his 91st year. He was the beloved husband of the late Louise (Lehman) Sprung ( 2001). Dear father of Joan and her husband John Schuett, and Judy and her husband Charles Andrews, all of Guelph.
Survived by grandchildren, Sandra, Steven, Stacey, and Sheryl.
Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, where family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 12, 2005 from 2-4 & 7- 9 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place in the Chapel on Thursday, October 13th, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Marymount cemetery.

Dear mother of Catherine of Winnipeg, Eric and his wife Judy of Caledon, Michael of Whistler, B.C. and Alice of Toronto. Loved grandmother of Arwen and Graeme and his wife Tricia and great-grandmother of Daniel and Nicholas. Dear sister of the late Jamie Robertson (1976). Dear aunt of Betty Clemens Jones and her husband Evan and their children Kerry and Bryce, all of Guelph. TOWNSEND, Barry William -- Passed away, suddenly, at Guelph, on Tuesday, October 11, 2005. Barry Townsend, in his 31st year, leaves behind his beautiful children Tyler, Bryce, Alishya, Jacob and Joshua. He is fondly remembered by his brothers Tim and his wife Melissa, Todd and his wife Michelle, Jeff and his wife Sarah, John Paul, and Joey, and by his sister Amanda. Barry is survived by his father Michael Townsend and his step-mother Shirley, by his mother Rosemarie Townsend, by his grandparents Alton and Maryanne Becker, and by his grandmother Doris Townsend. He is also survived by uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, and cousins. Barry is predeceased by his daughter Tatyiana and by his grandfather William Townsend.

TSCHEPURNY, Cecilia -- Peacefully, in her 86th year, at her home, on October 9, 2005. She will be sorely missed by her daughter Elsa and son-in-law John Liefeld; also, by her grandchildren Jennifer (Graham) O'Brien of Toronto and Ted (Carolyn) Liefeld of Lynnfield, MA; and by great-grandchildren Madeleine and Sam De Sousa, and Jacob and Cecelia Liefeld.
A Memorial Mass will be held at Holy Rosary Church, 175 Emma St., Guelph, on Saturday, October 15, 2005, at 10:30 a.m. Donations, in lieu of flowers, to a charity of one's choice would be appreciated by the family.

VETTORETTO, Bortolo Antonio (Nino) - Proud survivor of the Second World War as a soldier of the Alpini Regiment of Northern Italy. The family announces with great sorrow that Bortolo suddenly and peacefully passed away at Guelph General Hospital on Sunday, Oct. 5, 2008, at the age of 84 years, surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Luigia ( Bolzan), and loving father of Sylvia (Paul) Finamore, the late Franco Vettoretto, Flavio (Sharon) Vettoretto, and Daniella Vettoretto (Dominic Tersigni). Devoted Nonno of Dean, Paula, Joshua, Chelsea, Keenan, Sofia, Jade, Cody, and Adrian. Bortolo (Bortolin) was the loving son of the late, Giuseppe and Caterina Vettoretto. Loving brother of Imelda (late Enrico) LaTorre, and Beniamino (Rosetta) Vettoretto all of Guelph, and Angela (Giovanni) Fredrigo, and Adriano (Ilona) Vettoretto of Italy. He will be sadly missed by many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, and by many nieces and nephews across Canada, Italy, Switzerland, and Australia. Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel , 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, where the family will receive friends today (Wednesday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Vigil for Bortolo will be held on Wednesday evening at 8:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at the Holy Rosary Church 175 Emma St., Guelph on Thursday, October 9, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. Entombment, Our Lady Immaculate Mausoleum, Marymount cemetery , Guelph. WILSON, Andrew Tufts. B. Sc. Queen's Belfast, M.I.C.E., M E.I.C., P. Eng., Royal Society of Arts (Retired). Andrew was born on June 13, 1921, in Newcastle, County Down, Ireland and died on October 20, 2008 at the Guelph General Hospital. He is survived by his wife Zephera, his two children, Sylvia Fernley (Wayne) and Drew, and three grandchildren, Andrew, Nicole, and Dominique. Andrew will be missed by his brothers, Horace of Glasgow and William (Edna) of Newcastle.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Andrew's life will be held on Monday, October, 27, 2008 at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph, at 2pm. Followed by a gathering of friends in the fellowship lounge. A special thank you to the fantastic staff of the Guelph General Hospital for all their kindness. WORONKA, Robert Michael -- At the Guelph General Hospital on Wednesday, December 7th, 2005. Bob Woronka, in his 64th year, son of the late Michael and Winne Woronka. WRIGHT, Sharon (nee Norton) -- passed away at Kitchener, on Wednesday, December 14, 2005. Sharon Wright, in her 42nd year, was the dear mother of Ashley Norton. She was the dear daughter of Reginald Norton, Sr., and the late Myrtle Norton (1999). Sharon is the loving sister of Mel Le Bar, Shirley Brown, Reginald Norton, Jr., Brenda Lucchese, Debbie Reid, Douglas Norton, and Kim Shortt, and the late Alfred Le Bar (1987). She will be sadly missed by brothers- and sisters-in-law, cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.

HENDRICK, David Walter - Peacefully, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Monday, February 12, 2007. David Walter Hendrick, in his 80th year, was the beloved husband of Marlene (Allensen) Hendrick of Guelph. He was the father of Lorraine (Joan) and her husband John Potter of Victoria, B.C., Brian Hendrick of Moose Factory, Ont., Pamela and her husband Ernest Cabana of Acton, Ont. and Shelley and her husband Mike Van Maanen of Fort McMurray, Alta. David was the proud grandfather of Jennifer and "Duey" to Christine, David, Ryan, Sarah and Josh and great-grandfather of Kyle, Brayden, Chloe and Alisha. He was the dear brother of Peter Hendrick and his wife Mary of Scarborough, Mary and her husband Don Arntfield of Burlington and the late Bill Hendrick. Fondly remembered by his brothers and sisters-in-law and also by his many nieces and nephews. Private cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service to celebrate David's life will take place at Parkview Church, 89 Speedvale Ave. E., Guelph, on Saturday, February 17, 2007 at 11 a.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Parkview Church would be appreciated by the family.

MACEROLLO, Frank - With his family by his side, at Groves Memorial Community Hospital, Fergus, on Sunday, May 20, 2007. Frank Macerollo, in his 76th year, was the beloved husband of Eileen (Briestensky) Macerollo of Rockwood. He was the loving father of Christina and her husband John Patrick of Wales, Cathy and her husband Dave Beattie of Guelph, Tony of Ottawa, Anne Marie and her husband Joe Radocchia of Waterloo, Tom and his wife Leandra of Guelph and the late Mary Macerollo (2006). Frank was the dear grandfather of Sean, Tanya, Natalie, Laura, Diana, Trevor, Emily, Paul, Matthew, Michael, Sophie and Maximus. Loved brother of Tony (Gina), Mario (Vella), Mary Lombardi (late Lou), the late Joseph, the late Antonette Finamore (late Tony) and the late Yolanda Willetts. Dear brother-in-law of Mary Macerollo.

SMITH, Jeffrey Harold - Jeff died of leukemia on Wednesday, July 30, 2008 in his 49th year. He leaves his cherished wife, Elizabeth and his three precious children, Evan, Curtis and Nora. He leaves them with lots of love and happy memories to sustain them in the days and years ahead. He is also survived by his mother, Helen (Aljoe) Smith, siblings Janice (late Joe) Colby, Joel (Judy) and Jennifer; his mother-in-law Barbara (late Deric) Johnson, Richard (Julie) Johnson, and Pauline (Mike) LaRoy along with eight nieces and nephews. In Jeff's memory, take your kids to the beach, read them a story, go for a run, enjoy a great meal with your family, donate blood, and make the best of the time you have.
We do not have the words to truly express our gratitude to Nana (Barbara), Dr. Robert Stevens and the caring staff of the GRRCC and oncology unit, and the Guelph CCAC and Bayshore nurses, who have provided us with comfort and care throughout the past 15 months.
Arrangements entrusted to Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home. Private cremation and family service have taken place. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre or the World Wildlife Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
