Buckle, Marjorie - of Fort Lauderdale, Fl., passed away May 3, 2003. Born July 3, 1924, in Toronto, Ontario. A resident of Fort Lauderdale since July 1979 coming from Syracuse, NY. Marjorie was the President of John W. Buckle and Associates Advertising Agency and Editor of Boulevard Publishing Company. She was a member of the first leadership classes in both Davie and Sunrise Chambers of Commerce, member of the Broward International Women's Club and Canadian Club of Broward County and former Public Relations Director for Greenleaf and Crosby Jewellers in which John was a partner. Marjorie won an award from the Rotary Club of Syracuse for her outstanding work in International Relations. Before moving to the U.S. in 1966, where her husband John was transferred, Marjorie was employed by the Toronto Star, Midland Star and Wm. Neilson Company (where she met John). Survived by John, her loving husband of 41 years; mother-in-law Marion Buckle, of Sauble Beach; brothers-in-law Ross Buckle, of Mississauga, and Don Buckle, of London; many nieces and nephews; maternal cousin Paul Wade (Bonnie), of Quispamsis, N.B.; and numerous friends.
