Arthur "Butch" Elliott - passed away suddenly at his residence in Cape Croker on Friday, August 8th, 2008 at the age of 58 years. Loving husband of Germaine (nee Trudeau). Cherished father of Beedahsiga and his partner Veronica, of Rama First Nation; Geewadin and his wife Jennifer, of Barrie; Bawdweodung and his wife Geneva, of Sault Ste. Marie; and Winona Elliott and her partner William, of Orillia. Loving grandfather to Neegaanee, Nowqua, Washkesh, Neebin, Neebeesh, Charmayne and Lillian. Forever remembered by sister Carleen Elliott, and brothers Telford and George, all of Cape Croker. Sadly missed by brother-in-law John Trudeau (Connie); sisters-in-law Elizabeth Angeconeb (Henry) and Maureen McLeod (Kurtis); and many nieces and nephews. Cherished mother of Gary and his wife Lois, of Tobermory; and grandmother of Tara Letcher, of Severn Bridge, Shawn Letcher and his partner Berniece Richard, of Gravenhurst, and Victoria Clowater, of Aurora. Sadly missed by her nieces and nephews Carol, Judi, Sherry, Eddie, Debbie, Yvonne, and Pat; her great-nieces and great-nephews; great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews; and fondly remembered by her many dear friends and neighbours in the Tobermory community. Predeceased by her parents Fred and Annie Sargeant; her brothers Fred, Bill, Herb and Ab; and her sisters Rose, Dorothy and Elizabeth. Ivy will be forever remembered for her love of cards, sewing, hooking, and boating. Ivy was a proud member of St. Edmund's Anglican Church, the Hamilton Power Squadron and was an avid boater. Proud grandfather of Ryan Kreutzwiser (and partner Danielle Chretien), Paul Kreutzwiser (and wife Jamie), Zane Vogelsberg (and wife Melissa Truong); and great-grandfather of Evan and Kara. Sadly missed by his many friends. Predeceased by his parents Harvey and Alice. Doug was a veteran of WWII stationed at CFB Trenton as a member of 6 R.D. - RCAF. As the owner and operator of Central Motors, he ran his GM dealership in Wiarton for over a quarter of a century.
