Brother-in-law of Vera Kuktha, of Welland; Dorothy (Ross Johnston) and Ernest Nadjiwan (Lillian), both of Cape Croker. Sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, and friends. Devoted husband of the late former Betty Jean Robbins. Cherished father of Tedye-Lee Oakes and her husband Roger, of Mount Hope; Robin and his wife Angie, of New Market; and Sherry Mitchell and her husband Gary, of Hamilton. Beloved grandfather of eight; and great-grandfather of six. Caring brother of Dorothy Mills, of Stoney Creek, Irene Gavin and her husband Charlie, of Burlington, Roy and his wife Jerry, of Ancaster, and Ron and his wife Mary, of Vancouver. He will be missed by his nieces, nephews and many friends. Ted is predeceased by a son, Terry; his parents, William and Violet; and sisters Ivy Smith, and Daisy House. Ted served his country with the Royal Canadian Artillery - 1st Medium Regiment, stationed in Italy and N.W. Europe. He has been a proud member of Royal Canadian Legion Br# 208 Wiarton since 1970.
