Catherine Ellen Ruth

1915-2006

Peacefully at Lee Manor Nursing Home in Owen Sound Thursday morning July 6, 2006. Catherine Ruth of Owen Sound formerly of R.R.#2, Hepworth (Spring Creek Road) in her 91st year. Lovingly remembered by many relatives. Predeceased by her parents Leo Ruth and Mary Maloney and her four brothers; Edward Ruth in infancy, Father John Ruth, CSB, Alfred Ruth, James Ruth and one sister, Sister Celestine SSND (Veronica). Friends may call at the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME Hepworth Monday evening from 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated from St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Hepworth Tuesday morning at 11:00 am. 1925-2006

At the Grey Bruce Health Services in Wiarton Monday afternoon June 26, 2006. The former Dot Collacutt of Wiarton formerly of Sauble Beach and Mississauga in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of Harold Turvill. Loving mother of Norman and his wife Deborah of Mississauga and Thomas and his wife Suzanne of Orangeville. Lovingly remembered by her four grandchildren; Amanda, Rebecca, Jason and Jennifer and one great-granddaughter, Courtney. Predeceased by a brother William Collacutt. Dear sister of Hazel Gilbert and sister-in-law of Walter Thompsett both of Owen sound. Also survived by three nephews. Predeceased by a sister Elsie Thompsett and a brother Jack. Suddenly at his residence in Orangeville Sunday June 11, 2006. Paul Farroll of Orangeville at the age of 60. Paul was a retired O.P.P. Sergeant with the Caledon East detachment. Beloved husband and best friend of Beth Farroll (Shouldice). Loving father of Christine Johnson and her husband Jim of Brampton. Papa will be lovingly missed by his grandson Jaydon Paul Johnson. Dear brother of Ann Brady of Brantford. Dear son-in-law of W.B. (Bev) and Dorothy Shouldice of Shallow Lake. Dear brother-in-law of Rob and his wife June of Shallow Lake, Doug and his wife Kathy of Owen Sound, Joan Lever and her husband John of Shelburne, Dale Robinson and her husband Eric of Wiarton and Diane and the late Bill Shouldice. Suddenly at his home in Port Elgin Sunday morning May 21, 2006. Jim Templin of Port Elgin formerly of Sauble Beach. Loving husband and best friend of the former Joanne Voll. Dear father of Jim and his wife Sandra of Barrie, and father-in-law of Paul Doughty of Caledonia. Lovingly remembered by his two granddaughters; Lara and Rebekah Doughty. Dear son-in-law of Charlotte Voll of St. Clements and brother-in-law of Dianne (Harvey) Kuntz of Wingham, Ken (Ginny) Voll, Larry (Brenda) Voll all of Kitchener, Leonard Voll, and Janet (Ron) Lehmann all of Calgary, Alberta and Cliff Voll of St. Clements. Also survived by many nephews and nieces. Predeceased by his daughter Michelle Doughty and one brother Manfred. Jim and Joanne were former owners of The Driftwood Restaurant in Sauble Beach from 1977 to 1987. Jim was a past president of the Sauble Beach Chamber of Commerce and a past treasurer for many years of the Sauble Lions Club. Beloved husband of the former Mary Dudgeon (McClarty) and the late former Connie Burnett. Dear father of Gray and his wife Janice of Rideau Ferry and Jan of Ottawa. Lovingly remembered by his grandson Gray (Tara) and his great-grandson Ryan all of Bermuda. Dear brother of Betty Williams. Also remembered by his sister-in-law Bobbie Radmore of Ottawa and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his three brothers Jack, George and Walt. Lovingly remembered by his three grandchildren; Ryan Morrison and his wife Nicole, David Morrison and Trevor Sharp and one great-granddaughter Zoie. Dear brother of Gerald Sawyer and his wife Miriam of Wellington. Predeceased by his sister Dorothy Penson. Lloyd and Orma owned and operated Sawyers Flowers in Brampton for many years, retiring to Sauble Beach in 1974. Sara and her husband John were the founders of Duthler Textiles Limited. Loving mother of Bill and his wife Henny of Sauble Beach, Sarie and her husband Gordon Young of Holland, Audrey and her husband Hank Boer of St. Catharines, Gary and his wife Hendrika of Edmonton, Alberta and Jannette and her husband Ben Vanderlugt of Markham. Lovingly remembered by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also survived by two sisters of Holland. Predeceased by two sons; Josje and Basje, a daughter Alice Duthler and two great-grandchildren Nathan and Jordan Plugers.
