Ramon Nelson Tomlinson

1933-2004

Suddenly and unexpectedly at the Grand River Hospital in Kitchener/Waterloo Sunday morning December 19, 2004. Ramon Tomlinson of Sauble Beach formerly of Hamilton in his 72nd year. Beloved husband of Irene Plante and the late Valerie Tomlinson (Greenfield). Dear father of Chuck (Whitey) Tomlinson and Eleanor and her husband Joseph Ivan all of Hamilton. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Darren, Shauna, Lauren and Tabatha all of Hamilton. Ramon will be greatly missed by family both here and in England. His fellow Legioneers and The Tree House Gang have lost a dear friend. Thanks for keeping him going. Many thanks to the ICU and CCU doctors and nurses at the Grey Bruce Health Services in Owen Sound and Grand River Hospital in Kitchener-Waterloo. Lovingly remembered by his three grandchildren; Gregory, Brandon and Claire Camacho. George and Mary were the former owners of Off Beach Variety (Tu Shop) in Sauble Beach. Loving father of Wendy and Barb both of Squamish, B.C. and Sheila of Barrie. Dear brother-in-law of Bunny Linton of Red Deer, Alberta, Ruth Linton of Clinton, Marie Millson of Southampton and George Walker of Calgary. Predeceased by his son Kerry, two sisters and four brothers. After retiring from Ontario Hydro at the age of 57, Cliff spent is winters in Florida and enjoyed many happy days at his camp near Nipigon. He was a member of the Sauble Beach Mens Club.
