Also survived by his brother Melvin of Dundas and by his sisters, Kathleen Soden of Southampton and Helen Dahms of Kitchener. Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother-in-laws, Cecil Soden and Stan Dahms and by his sister-in-law, Doris Doll. Proud grandfather of Ryan, Kara, Crystal, Ashley, Brittany, Vanessa, Kristian, Helena and Rob. Predeceased by one son, James (Jimmy) and his parents, Howard and Esther Overland, and by his three brothers, Clifford, Arthur and Clinton, and by his three sisters, Eva, Iva and Mabel. Tyrrell Stanley George, at Grey Bruce Health Services, Southampton, on Sunday June 30, 2002. Stan Tyrrell of Southampton in his 85th year. Stan was a Veteran of WWII and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion for over 50 years. Husband of the late Jessie Peter (Blue) and of his first wife the late Nellie Wakelin. Dear father-in-law of David Lloyd of Komoka and stepfather of Mary Lou and her husband, Chris MacDougald of Shallow Lake and of Bryan Peter and his wife, Nancy, of Midland. Proud grandfather of Laura and Steven both of Komoka, Michael and his wife, Coralee, of London, Adam, Craig and Jeff, all of Shallow Lake and Katie and Becky both of Midland. Stan will be missed by his extended family, by his nieces and nephews, by his many friends of the community and by his Square Dance friends. Predeceased by his daughter Ellen Rose Lloyd and by his brother Walter. At Stan's request his body has been donated for Anatomical Research, University of Western Ontario, London. Interment of ashes will follow at the Southampton cemetery. A Memorial Service to celebrate Stan's life will be conducted in the Chapel of the Eagleson Funeral Home, Southampton, on Saturday July 13, 2002 at 2pm. Reverend Ken Russ will officiate. Dear father of George and his wife Gloria of Fonthill and Peter and his wife Marie-Claire of Haliburton. Proud grandfather of Eryn, Christopher and Anne-Marie. Also survived by 5 sisters, Jean Diebel, Evelyn Harris, Hazel Raynard, Joyce Wilson, Betty Warden and by 2 brothers, Ken and Jack, all of Niagara Falls. Predeceased by 1 brother and 1 sister. Bryan Johnson and his wife Norma, Robert Kahgee and his wife Heather, Wayne Kahgee and Brenda Kewageshig and her husband George all of the Saugeen First Nation. Fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Cassandra and Ashley Partridge both of Owen Sound, Maggie, Aylin, Brian and Harlan Jr., all of Longlac. Sadly missed by her nieces, Kaylyn, Tiffany, Alexis, Anthea, Michelle, Natosha and Amber and by her nephews, Allan, Christopher, Samson and David as well as by her aunts, uncles and cousins. Gilmour-Coon Dorothy Myra, at the Castleview Care Centre, Trail, British Columbia, on Friday September 13, 2002. Dorothy Coon (nee Gilmour) of Trail B.C. and formerly of Toronto in her 92nd year. Dorothy was born in Saugeen Township and was the daughter of the Late Daniel and Stella Gilmour. She left the farm at the age of 17 so as to attend the Shaw Business College in Toronto, after which, she became a very successful business woman, retiring from the Canadian Pharmaceutical Association at the age of 78. After marrying the Late Ben Coon, Dorothy moved to British Columbia where she became a faithful member of St Andrew's Anglican Church, Trail B.C.. She is survived by her sister Edith Soden-Stebbins of Sarnia and by many loved nieces and nephews, Myra Chapman, Robert Gilmour, Harry Gilmour, Shirley Gilmour, Danny Gilmour, Terry Soden, Bud Soden, Paul Soden, Larry Soden and by their families. She is predeceased by her 3 brothers, Cliff, Elmir and Jack. Visitation from the Eagleson Funeral Home, Southampton Ontario, on Friday September 20, 2002 from 7-9pm.
