McArthur, Frances “Anne”, peacefully, at home in Southampton, after a noble battle with Leukemia, on Monday July 13, 2009. Anne McArthur (nee Loughlin) of Southampton in her 80th year. Anne, much loved wife of John (deceased 2007). Loving mother of Peter (Cathy) of Thornhill, Patti (Louis) of Toronto, Mary Jo (Will) of Oakville, Malcolm (Lisa) of Cambridge and Jane of Toronto. Loving Grandma and Greema to Colin, Ian, Graeme, Aidan, Cameron, Daniel and Nicholas. Also survived by her brother, Ed Loughlin of London, and by her sister, Katherine Else of Michigan. Predeceased by her parents Dr. Edward I. and Helen (Pitt) Loughlin. A nursing graduate of St. Joseph’s London, 1951, she nursed in Ottawa, Oakville and London. Retiring to Southampton Anne was very active with the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. Cremation. Visitation from the Eagleson Funeral Home, Southampton, on Wednesday July 15, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A Funeral Mass to Celebrate the Life of Anne McArthur will be conducted at St Patrich’s Church on Thursday July 16th 2009 at 11am. Interment of Ashes, Southampton cemetery. Sadly missed and fondly remembered by her 14 grandchildren and by her 15 great grandchildren. Campbell Mabel, went to be with her Lord, on Thursday December 3, 2009. Mabel Campbell (nee Maxwell) born on March 12, 1920 in Port-au-Port Newfoundland, was surrounded and cared for by her loving family when she died at her daughters home in Southampton. Wife of the late Hugh Campbell. Dear mother of Louise and her husband Jim Harvey of Marmora, Betty and her husband Calvin Morgan of Garden Hill and Linda and her husband Gord Eagles of Southampton. Also survived by her son-in-law Neil Harvey of Roblin and by her brothers, Roy and his wife Val and Minto and his wife Mabel, both of Cornerbrook Newfoundland. Sadly missed and fondly remembered by 14 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents John and Gertrude Maxwell, by her daughter, Julia, by her brothers William, Frank, Leslie and by her sisters, Grace, Phyllis and Margaret. Beloved wife and best friend of Tom Marcotte of Southampton. Loving mother of LeeAnn and her husband Paul Dawson of Eganville, Susan and her husband Peter Knechtel of Southampton and Lisa and her husband Rod Brown of Innisfil. Also survived by her brother Frank Nauman and his wife Gerri of Waterloo, by her sisters, Karen and her husband Steve McDonald of Waterloo, Sharon Naumann and partner Jan MacDonald of Tobermory and by her sister-in-laws, Doreen and her husband Gord Olienick of Waterloo and Jeri Marcotte of Peterborough. Proud Nana who will be sadly missed by her 8 grandchildren and as doting “gg” of her 4 great grandchildren.
