Short Marion Helen, at Grey Bruce Health Services, Southampton, on Tuesday April 27, 2004. Marion Short (nee Moran) of Southampton and formerly of Cambridge in her 83rd year. Wife of the late Reg Short. Cherished mother of Patricia Molnar and her friend George Discepolo of Southampton. Proud grandmother of Nicole Molnar of Japan, Kristi Molnar of Windsor and Joseph Molnar and his wife Grace of Sunnyvale California. Also survived by her sisters, Catherine Agar of Southampton and Cecilia Richmond of British Columbia. Fondly remembered by her friends at the Day Away Program, Saugeen Memorial Hospital. Predeceased by her parents, John and Bertha Moran. No Visitation. The Funeral Service will be conducted in the Chapel of the Eagleson Funeral Home, Southampton, on Saturday May 1, 2004 at 2pm. A Time of Fellowship will follow in the Family Centre of the Funeral Home. Following Cremation, a Memorial Service to Celebrate the Life of Marion Short will be held at St Paul’s United Church, 450 King Street, East, Cambridge, on Monday May 10, 2004 at 3pm, then, followed by Fellowship with the family. Private Interment of Ashes, Park Lawn cemetery , Cambridge. Expressions of Remembrance to the Day Away Program of Saugeen Memorial Hospital, Southampton.

Loving and proud father of Bryn and her partner Brian Martin of Waterloo, Kendall and her partner Richard Smith, Luke and his friend Darcy Nelson, both of Southampton, David Greig, Dan Greig, both of Port Elgin, and to Jordan Biernes, of Port Elgin, and Beverly Biernes of Southampton. Dear brother of Blair, of Wiarton. Also survived by his children’s mother, Diane Johnston of Southampton. Sadly missed and fondly remembered by grandchildren Avery, Ireland, Jakob and Ethan. Predeceased by his parents Wilf and Jean Johnston and by his companion Penny Lee Greig. Visitation from the Eagleson Funeral Home, Southampton, on Tuesday May 11, 2004 from 7-9pm. A Memorial Service to Celebrate the Life of Guy Johnston will be held in the Chapel of the Funeral Home on Wednesday at 2pm. Reverend Ken Wild will officiate. Fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Jeffrey Duddle and his wife Karen, Steven Duddle and his wife Susan, John Burton and by her great grandchildren, Taylor and Steven Duddle. Predeceased by her son in laws, Edward Duddle and Norm Burton, by her 2 sisters, Nova and Norma and by her 3 brothers, Jack, Bruce and Murray. Visitation from the Eagleson Funeral Home, Southampton, on Thursday May 13, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The Funeral Service will be conducted from St Paul’s Anglican Church, Southampton, on Friday at 11am. Reverend Margaret Greenhow will officiate. Interment Southampton cemetery. A Time of Fellowship and Sharing will follow at the Southampton Legion. Expressions of Remembrance to the Southampton Care Centre Residents Council. Legion Branch #155 Ladies Auxiliary will hold a Memorial Service at the Funeral Home, on Thursday at 7:30pm.

Dear mother of Laura Lynn and her husband Lloyd Walker, Michael and his wife Mary Lou, both of Southampton and Peter and his wife Karen of Owen Sound. Also survived by her brother, John Nadjiwon of Cape Croker. Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews and by her friends of the community. Sadly missed and by her grandchildren, Ashley, Alicia, Brittney, Kassandra and Nolan. Predeceased by her parents Charles and Lillian Akiwenzie, by her stepfather, Peter Nadjiwon and by her sister, Beulah Jones. Visitation from the Eagleson Funeral Home, Southampton, on Tuesday June 1, 2004, from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The Funeral Service will be conducted from St Paul’s Anglican Church, Southampton, on Wednesday at 11am. Reverend Margaret Greenhow will officiate. A Ceremony for the Interment of Ashes, Little Port Elgin cemetery , Cape Croker will take place, at a later date. Dear mother of Ted and his wife Janine of Cambridge, Pastor Ron and his wife Susan of Owen Sound, Lynda and her husband Brian Rothenberg of Southampton and Deborah Stephen of Owen Sound. Also survived by her son-in-law Richard Bosch of Tiverton. Dear sister of Dorothy and her husband Gordon Adams of Owen Sound and Lorraine and her husband Ross Wark of Port Elgin. Sadly missed and fondly remembered by her grandchildren Jason, Jennifer, Brent, Dean, Andy, David and by her great grandchildren, Aidan and Devan. Predeceased by her husband, William Edward (Bud) Baker, by her daughters Patty and Lois and by her sister Audrey. At Marjorie's request there will be no Visitation, nor Funeral Service. Cremation. Hamilton, Robert (Bob) Charles, It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robert (Bob) Hamilton on Wednesday, June 2nd, 2004 at his Southampton home in his 68th year. He will be deeply missed by his wife, Donna (nee Cunningham) and his children, Robert and wife Colleen of Ottawa, Jim and wife Deanna of Calgary, Cathy and husband Scott Brydie of Georgetown and David and partner Jennifer Maher of Etobicoke. “Grandpa” will be forever missed by grandchildren Jennifer, Michael, Amanda, Kristen, Joel, Caylee and Christopher. He is also survived by one sister, Carol Bulloch of Windsor and her family. Born and raised in Windsor, Bob settled his family in Bramalea, where he was a long time employee and former General Sales Manager of Facelle Canada in Toronto. Retirement brought him to Southampton, he liked to call it “God’s Country.” During his years he traveled extensively throughout Canada, and touched many people. Bob had a knack for remembering friends and faces. He was a man who not only valued life and family, but also cared deeply and appreciated those old friends. In the past few years his favorite times have been spent reminiscing and laughing with family, friends and business associates, telling stories. Visitation from the Eagleson Funeral Home, Southampton on Thursday, June 3rd, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted from the chapel of the funeral home on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Reverend Ken Wild will officiate. Cremation. Private interment of ashes Southampton cemetery. Expressions of Remembrance to the Canadian Diabetes Association.

Sadly missed by her grandchildren, Robin, Jenna, Sarah and Emma. Predeceased by her parents George and Euphemia Longe, by her sisters, Reeva and Alva, by her brothers, Clark and Jack and by her first husband, Al McGuire. At Ruth’s request there will be no visitation nor funeral services. Cremation. The family welcome friends to a Time of Remembrance and Celebration in Memory of Ruth, Saturday July 17, 2004 from 2-4pm, at the home of Peter and Edythe McGuire, 217, Thompson Lane, Southampton. Loving granny of Darryl, Darren, Glennys, Alison, Mark, Leslie, Jacquie and great granny of Taylor and Peyton. Predeceased by her parents Oliver and Joanna Lichty, by her brother, Cranson, by her sister, Bernice, by her great grandson Jonah and by her first husband Robert F. Beechey. Dear wife of Joseph Bernard Wyatt, beloved mother of Helen and John Aitkens, Paul and Melanie Wyatt and Christina Louise Wyatt. Treasured Grandma of Michael, Evan, Heather and Victoria. Survived by her sister Sheila and her brother-in-law Chris Tierney, niece and nephews Christopher, Sean, Liam and Alayna. Fondly remembered by many friends of the community and church. She will be sadly missed by her family members and friends in the United Kingdom. Visitation from the Eagleson Funeral Home, Southampton on Sunday, August 15th from 7-9 p.m. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, Southampton on Monday, August 16th, at 10 a.m. Interment at St. Patrick’s cemetery , Southampton.
