Primeau, Shirley Elizabeth, at the Southampton Care Centre, Southampton, on Monday, January 11, 2010. Shirley Primeau (nee Sutherland) of Southampton in her 77th year. Beloved wife of Lionel “Leo” Primeau of Southampton. Dear mother of Tracy and her husband Grant Huscroft of London, Kelly Shultis of Sudbury and to Greig Primeau and his wife Joyce of Port Elgin, Barbara and her husband Paul Blais of Ancaster, Brenda and her husband Mike Martin of Ottawa and Daile Primeau of Vancouver. Also survived by sisters, Hazel Thow-Phillips of Newmarket, Jane Sullivan of Orillia and brother, John Sutherland of Huntsville. Sadly missed by 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Shirley will be fondly remembered for her role as the Assignments Clerk for Bell Canada. Predeceased by her parents Edward and Catherine Sutherland, by her first husband David Shultis and by her sisters Catherine and Joan. No Visitation. Funeral Rites to Celebrate the Life of Shirley Primeau will be conducted in the Chapel of the Eagleson Funeral Home, Southampton on Friday January 15, 2010 at 11am. Father Peter Meyer will officiate. A Time of Fellowship and Sharing will follow in the Family Centre of the Funeral Home. Cremation. Expressions of Remembrance to the Alzheimer’s Society.

Beloved husband of Sheila Warrian (nee Reed) of Southampton. Proud and loving father of Tami and her partner Ian Vogt and Keri and her partner Robert Hintze both of Toronto. Also survived by his brothers, Michael and his wife Joan of Brampton, Peter and his wife Margaret of Toronto, William and his wife Judy of Newmarket, John and his wife Trish of Troy Michigan and Steve and his wife Rhonda of Etobicoke. Greg owned and operated Wexford Steel and will be fondly remembered by his many colleagues in the steel industry. Predeceased by his parents Don and Catherine Warrian. Visitation from the Eagleson Funeral Home, Southampton, on Friday January 15, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A Time to Celebrate the Life of Greg Warrian will be held in the Chapel of the Funeral Home on Saturday at 1pm. Spring Interment Southampton cemetery. Dear granddaughter of Kay and Bill Stubbert of Guelph and Dorothy (Pat) Beresford also of Guelph. Predeceased by her grandfather Jack Beresford. Sadly missed and fondly remembered by her aunts and uncles, her many cousins, her many friends of the community and by her Elk & Finch family. Visitation at the Eagleson Funeral Home, Southampton, on Friday, January 29, 2010 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A Time to Celebrate the Life of Stephanie Stubbert will be held in the Southampton United Church on Saturday at 11am. Fellowship and sharing will follow at the Stubbert family home. Gruter, Willem Ferdinand August, peacefully at home in Southampton, surrounded by his loving family, on Thursday, May 20, 2010. Willem (Bill) Gruter of Southampton in his 76th year. Beloved husband and soul mate of Ilona Maria Gruter (nee Lampater) of Southampton. Proud father of Patrica Gruter-Larson and her husband Kevin of Port Elgin, Gwen Cavasotto and her husband Lewis of Kincardine and Nina Hussey and her husband Scott of Burketon. Loving Opa of Alexandra, Jessica, Lia, Sara, Evan and Rachel. Also survived by his brothers, Henk, Ted, Harry and by his sisters, Hella Gruter and Riet deMol. Predeceased by his parents Philippe and Frida Gruter and by his brother George. Willem was a distinguished Marine Engineer Technologist on Shell Tankers before immigrating to Ontario where he became a respected Nuclear Operator with Ontario Hydro. Cremation. A private family Memorial Service will be held at the Dunblane Presbyterian Church, The River Road, Saugeen Township. Interment of Ashes, Southampton cemetery. A Time to Celebrate and Share the Life of Willem Gruter will be held in the Family Centre of the Eagleson Funeral Home, Southampton, on Saturday May 29, 2010 between the hours of 1 and 3pm. Expressions of Remembrance to the Salvation Army, Free the Children or to the Alzheimer’s Society.

Dear mother of Betty and her husband Doug Shular of Southampton, Bev Burrow of Toronto and Bill of Southampton. Also survived by her older sister Edith Dunnigan of Victoria BC. Sadly missed by 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Kay will be fondly remembered for gracious manner by her many nieces and nephews and by those she touched through her many contributions to the Town of Southampton. Predeceased by her parents Frederick and Helen Dewar and by 2 sisters, Helen and Mary. Cremation. Visitation from the Eagleson Funeral Home, Southampton on Wednesday May 26, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A Funeral Mass to Celebrate the Life of Kay Burrow will be conducted at St Patrick’s Church Southampton on Thursday May 27th at 11am. Interment of Ashes, St Patrick’s cemetery , Southampton. Rubina Hodgkins (nee Pomanti) of Southampton in her 74th year. Beloved wife of Don Hodgkins of Southampton. Proud and loving mother of Barry and his wife Patty of Walkerton, Bill and his wife Andrea of Southampton and Bob and his wife Penny of Port Elgin. Devoted grandmother of Brittany, Ashley, Tyler, Karly, Erin, Joseph, little Tyler and Allie. Dear daughter of Doris Pomanti of Thunder Bay. Admired and loved sister of Albert Pomanti and his wife Mary Ann, Mary Louise and her husband Peter Crooks, Gerry Pomanti and his wife Sandra, all of Thunder Bay and sister-in-law of Juanita Trendiak of Thunder Bay and Lorraine and her husband Victor Gadd of Abbotsford B.C.. Rubina will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends of the community. She will be fondly remembered as one of the Red Hat ladies as well as being an avid bowler. Predeceased by her father, Joseph Pomanti and by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Merrill and Lillian Hodgkins. Visitation from the Eagleson Funeral Home, Southampton on Tuesday June 1, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The Funeral Mass to Celebrate the Life of Rubina Hodgkins will be held at St Patrick’s Church, Southampton on Wednesday at 11am. Predeceased by his parents George and Isabel Pette, by his son-in-law Neal Fawcett and by his brothers-in-law, Chas and Julius. Allan was a Veteran of WWII having served in many campaigns throughout Europe, a member of Lions Head Legion Branch # 202, the oldest living Past Master of Lebanon Forest Lodge # 133, A.F. & A.M., a member, with his wife, of the Order of the Eastern Star and a proud member and Past President of the Bruce Shrine Club. At Allan’s request there will be neither Visitation nor a Funeral Service. Cremation. A Time to Celebrate the Life of Allan Fraser will be held at the Pike Bay United Church at a later date.
