Peacefully on Sunday January 9, 2000 in her 71st year. Loving wife of George for 46 years. Cherished mother of Dawn and Lance Woodworth and Richard and Monica Rice. Nana will be greatly missed by Keegan and Cody Woodworth and Matthew, Brandon and Stephanie Rice.
Her loving smile and her positive attitude will be forever missed.

Suddenly and Peacefully on Saturday January 1, 2000, Maria Dos Anjos Cassiano (nee Costa) of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada in her 73 year. Beloved wife of Jacinto Cassiano. Loving mother of Mary Pedersen and Manuel Cassiano both of Hamilton, John Cassiano & Pegeen Stopford of Kingston, Fred Cassiano & Salome Bukateci and Bob Cassiano and his wife Alison all of Hamilton. Dear gramma of Dane, Jace, Brian, Zane, Beja, Akiva, Rosie, Angie and William.
Maria was born in Furnas, Sao Miguel, Acores, Portugal on September 20, 1927. Daughter of the late Manuel & Belmina Costa. She married Jacinto on July 9, 1950 in Portugal and immigrated to Canada with two of her five children in November 1958 where she and her husband remained and raised their family.
Mrs. Cassiano is at the DODSWORTH & BROWN Funeral Home ROBINSON CHAPEL, King St. at Wellington, Hamilton where the family will receive friends on Wednesday January 5 from 11 am until time of service in the Chapel at 12 o'clock noon. She is survived by her husband Don, her sons Don (Gail), Leonard (Candy) all of Hamilton, grandchildren Nico (Sikora) of Burlington, Justin Cramer and step-grandson Brian Cramer both of Hamilton.
Also survived by sisters Vicky (Agostino) of Nova Scotia, Ethyl (Kenny) of Moncton N.B. and Joanne (Stewart) of Nova Scotia. Predeceased by brother John. Sadly missed by his grandchildren David, Jennifer, Milica, Nikola and Kristina. Loving son of Anastasia and the late Mihial Panopoulos.
