Peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital on Friday, April 6, 2001.
Cherished mother of Elizabeth Ann and husband Owen Lafferty of Grimsby and Richard William Scott of Hamilton. Adoring and proud grandma of Philip Albert Lafferty, Toronto and Frances Elizabeth Lafferty (and Fiancee Jeff Pedley) of Brantford.
Survived by mother Beatrice Ward, brothers Shirl (“sister” Rita), Bert (Rosemary), Lowell (Charlene), Gordon and sister Geraldine (Herb) Cooley. Also survived by sister-in-law Jean Ward, John and Pat Lafferty, and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by father, Charles Alfred, brothers Stanley (Ruth), Norris and Lindsay Ward and husband Thomas Scott.
Frances will always be remembered for her warmth, character, strength and unconditional love. Special thanks to the nurses and staff of St. Joseph’s Hospital, and Doctors Nigel Colterjohn, J.E. Young and L. Kahn.
Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service, followed by Interment to be held at White Chapel Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, April 11th, 2001 at 1 p.m.

At the St. Joseph’s Hospital on April 18, 2001 in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Betty (Agnes Mundie). Loving father of Susan Hutcheon (Ron) and Jan Voelker (Peter). Dear Grandfather of Karen Juhlke (Brandon), Danielle Guillemette (John), Cory Hutcheon and great grandfather to Ocean and Joseph.
Mr. Voelker was a well known Jeweller/Gemologist in the Hamilton Area and will be fondly remembered by many relatives and friends.
A special thanks to Shelly and Fred Cole, Jake Speijer, Michelle Smith and Steve Tita.

Survived by her beloved son Robert Thompson of Hamilton, her sister Emma Holfert of St. Clair, Mich., daughter-in-law Dorothy Thompson, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and her furry companion Tippy. Dorothy is predeceased by her husband John William Sr. (1971), her dear sons; John William Thompson Jr (1989) and Sergeant James Thompson of the USAF (1952) and by her dear granddaughter Diane Thompson (1988).
