At Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Tuesday may 29, 2001 in her 87th year. Loving wife of the late James F. McIntyre. Dear mother of Betty (Hamilton), Irene and Chuck (New Brunswick), John and Rox-Anne (Hamilton), Ray and Susan (Cambridge), Gail and Gary (Hamilton). Remembered by her 16 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Survived by her sister Daisy Hearst. Predeceased by her daughter Carol. Friends may call at the DODSWORTH & BROWN Funeral Home, ROBINSON CHAPEL (King Street East at Wellington)on Friday from 11 am until the time of the funeral service at 1 pm. Cremation to follow. Memorial tributes to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.

Suddenly, in Sparta, Greece on June 9, 2001 in his 70th year. Peter Shiavelis, beloved husband of Georgina (Sebekos). Loving father of Bessey and Effy. Dear brother of Helen (Stratis) Barlas, Tina (Gus) Tserebas and Geoff (Merlyn) Shiavelis. Peter and his family have owned and operated Your Place Restaurant for the over 18 years, he will be sadly missed by his many relatives and friends. Mr. Shiavelis is at the DODSWORTH & BROWN “ROBINSON CHAPEL” (King St., East at Wellington) where his family will receive friends on Saturday from 7-9 pm and Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Prayers will be held on Sunday evening at 7 pm. Funeral will be celebrated on Monday June 18, 2001 at 11 am. at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church ( 22 Head St. ). Interment will follow at Woodland cemetery. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

He will be sadly missed by many brothers, sisters, relatives and friends. Ed was an endless entrepreneur, and an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. # 58, Hamilton. He was trained with the Royal Canadian Airborne and was very proud of his wings. A service of remembrance will be held at the DODSWORTH & BROWN Funeral Home “ROBINSON CHAPEL” (King St., East at Wellington, Hamilton) on Tuesday June 19, 2001 at 2 pm.
