passed away peacefully at home on Monday, October 9, 2000 after a courageous battle with emphysema in his 74th year.
Beloved and cherished husband of Helen (nee Marrison) for 55 years. Loving and caring father of Beverley and Kees Van Leeuwen, Pamela and George Tsilibanis, Cindy and Stan Bade, Christopher and Carol.
Much loved and admired grandfather of 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Survived by brothers Ken, Guy, Harold and his wife Mary, and sister Fay and her husband Don.
Predeceased by son Michael (1994), brother Wallace and sister Clara. Dear brother-in-law of Connie Manone, father-in-law of Bonnie and Erla. Bob will be sadly missed by family and friends.
Bob retired from Stelco Inc. (12-10 Mill) after 36 years of service.
Friends will be received at the L.G. WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 151 Ottawa Street North (544-1147) on Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Friday at 1 p.m. Cremation to follow.

Peacefully at home after a courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday, October 17, 2000.
Will be forever missed by his lady and best friend Jan. Survived by mother, Bev Compton and predeceased by father, Roy. Dear father of Tyna, Jessica and Jason. Dear grandfather of Jacob. Loving brother of Doug and his wife Linda, Greg Betts and his wife Angela, Jeff Betts and his wife Amy, Cathy McLaughlan and Paul.
Mike will always be in the hearts of his extended family who meant so much to.
Michael was an employee of Associated Springs of Burlington and enjoyed playing soccer for the Burlington Old Timers.
A service of Remembrance will be held at the L.G. WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 151 Ottawa St. North (544-1147) on Thursday, October 19th at 11 a.m. from the Chapel.

Suddenly in the Hamilton General Hospital, Hamilton, Ontario on Friday, October 13, 2000, age 50.
Loving daughter of Florence (MacGregor) Stubbert and Orville.
Dear wife of Jerry and survived by her loving daughters, Maria and Tania.
Will be missed by her sisters, Diane and husband Richard Gerrow, Barbara and husband Alex Devoe, Paula (Michael) Stubbert; brothers, David and wife Annette Stubbert, Craig and wife Rita Stubbert.
She was predeceased by sister, Patsy and brother, Orville Jr. Also survived by many aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews.
Valerie was an employee at St. Peter’s Hospital, Hamilton.
Visitation will be held in L.G. Wallace Funeral Home, Hamilton, Ontario, today October 16, from 2-4, 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday at 2 p.m. Cremation to follow.

Tragically, as the result of an accident, in Stoney Creek, on Sunday, October 29, 2000, Sergej, at age 25.
Loving son of Mirjana and Risto. Cherished nephew of Mirko and Milanka Sakota. Dear cousin of Branislav and Miroslav. Sergej will be sadly missed by families Magazin, Lasica, Zic, Vukotic and many other friends and family in Canada and abroad.
