Frederick 'Fred' Nicola Weise
December 11, 1922 - December 10, 2000

Funeral arrangements by L G Wallace Funeral Home

Peacefully with his family by his side at Parkview Nursing Home on Sunday, December 10, 2000 in his 78th year.

Fred was reunited with his loving wife Florence in the arms of the Lord.

Cherished father of Shirley Alexander of Buffalo, New York, Dorothy, Anna Belle, Fred Jr., Betty-Anne, and Donald, all of Hamilton, and David, of Pasadena, California. Proud grandfather of many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and great-great-great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Gordon and Dorothy. Predeceased by sisters Louise and Norma.

Fred will be missed by numerous family and friends. He was a longtime member and Elder at Stewart Memorial Church and sang in the Stewart Memorial Church Senior Choir and was also a member of Dofasco Male Chorus.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the L.G. WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 151 Ottawa Street North (544-1147) on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9. p.m. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Thursday at 11 a.m. Interment Woodland cemetery.

November 2, 1934 - December 7, 2000

Suddenly in the arms of his loving wife, Joan, on Thursday, December 7, 2000 in his 67th year.

Loving father of John, Dawn and Michael Weiss, Sean and Lesley England. Beloved Pappy of Quinn, Alexander, Tyler, Brandon and Emma. Dear brother of June Bielic, Carole Shaver and Joseph England. Predeceased by brothers Bill, Frank, Larry and sister Trish. Peter will be sadly missed by many family and friends.

Peacefully at McMaster University Medical Centre on Thursday, December 7, 2000, Jenny in her 95th year.

Beloved wife of the late James. Loving mother of Samuel and wife Muriel, late Allan and wife Grace and late John.

Proud grandmother of twelve grandchildren, nineteen great- grandchildren and one great- great- grandchild.

Dear sister of Mary, Peggy of Scotland. Predeceased by her brothers Duncan and Willy and sister Jeannie. Jenny will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews and numerous family and friends.

Milorad Kanurski
February 2, 1913 - December 22, 2000

Peacefully on Friday, December 22, 2000, at Hamilton General Hospital, in his 88th year.

Beloved husband of Perka. Loving father and father-in-law of Gorica and Milan Mandic, Mary and Dennis Benassi, Angie and Rajko Djurdjevic, Mike Kanurski, Nada and Scott Tupling.

Very proud grandfather of Goran, Srdjan, Jelena, Kristina, Stephanie, Laura, Jovan, Melissa, Adam, Natalie, Dane and Rachel. Proud great-grandfather of Nikola, Luka and Katarina.

Survived by his brother Milivoj of Romania. Predeceased by parents Velimir and Anka, sisters Angelina and Zora. Milorad will be missed by family, kumovi and many friends.

He was a longstanding member of the St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church and retired from Sears Canada after many years of loyal service.

Visitation at the L.G. WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 151 Ottawa Street North (544-1147), on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Pomen Service at 8 p.m. Funeral Service from St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church (1415 Barton Street East) on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with the Very Rev. Father Vojislav Pavlovic officiating. Interment Woodland cemetery.

Donations may be made to St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church. Heartfelt appreciation to the dedicated staff of the General Hospital, especially to Chaplain Beatriz Laine. Special thanks to Father Vojislav for his support and prayers.

Charles (Marty) Watson
September 23, 1950 - December 21, 2000

Suddenly at home, after a courageous battle with cancer, on Thursday, December 21, 2000 in his 51st year.

Beloved husband of Jackie. Loving father of Michelle and Rick, Chris and Melissa, Jennifer and Len. Proud grandpa and papa of Zachary, Mackenzy and two on the way.

Dear brother of Brian and Donna, Sandy and Craig, Ron and Becci, Norma and Gerry, John and Bonnie. Survived by stepmother Marjorie, step-brothers and step- sisters. He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Marty was a long time employee of Parker Hannifin and a member of Moose Lodge where he will be missed by many of his co-workers and friends.

Predeceased by his loving wife of 37 years, Ecaterina. Much loved uncle of Bill and Audrey Danychuk, Anna and Peter Gerula. Dear great- uncle of Bill and Susan Danychuk, Deanna and Chris Danychuk-Forkow of B.C., Sophia Kinarshchuk, Tanya Williamson, George Kinarshchuk, Orysia Ruzhetski and great great- uncle of Dylan and Brooke Danychuk, D’Arcy, Feather Dawn Danychuk-Forkow of B.C.

Survived by sister Tatiana Danyliuk of the Ukraine. John will be sadly missed by his many family and friends.

Visitation will be held at L.G. WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 151 Ottawa St. North (544-1147) on Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Panachyda on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Friday at 1:00 p.m. Interment at Eastlawn cemetery.

Edward (Ted) McDermott
March 1, 1918 - December 24, 2000

Peacefully at Clarion Nursing Home with his loving family by his side on Sunday, December 24, 2000 at the age of 82.

Loving husband and best friend of 58 years to May. Cherished father of Ralph and Coleen McDermott, Barb and Paul Hands, Derek and Jane McDermott, Brenda and Bruce MacDonald.

Proud grandfather of Tracy (Jeff), Sherry (Mark), David (Maureen), Jennifer (Carl), Kristine, Kevin, Shawn, Steven and great-grandfather of Autumn and Andrew. Dear brother of Jean and Ernie Tindale and family and the late Bridie McDermott, all of England. He will be sadly missed by numerous family and friends.

Ted was a Veteran of the R.A.F. and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #58 for 30 years. He was a retiree of Stelco with 32 years of service.

Cremation has taken place. A Service of Remembrance in Ted's memory will be held at the L.G. WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 151 Ottawa Street North (544-1147) on Thursday at 12 noon.

Vaso Soc
December 24, 1912 - January 7, 2001

passed away at McMaster Medical Centre on Sunday, January 7, 2001. Vaso in his 89th year.

Loving husband of Danica dear father of Radule and grandfather of Vasko and Nebojsa, all of Yugoslavia.

Vaso will be sadly missed by his many Kumovi and friends.

He was a long time member of the St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church (Barton St.) and a retiree of National Steel Car following 27 years of service.

WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 151 Ottawa Street North (544-1147) on Monday 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday 7-9 p.m. Pomens both nights at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Service from St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church (Barton Street) on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with the very Reverend Father Vojislav Pavlovic officiating. Interment Woodland cemetery.

Radomir 'Ray' Vukovich
April 12, 1930 - January 4, 2001

Beloved husband of Dusanka. Loving father of Zora Milovanov, Daniel and Mary Vukovich. Dear step-father of Mitar and Tammy Mugosa, Nikola and Radmila Mugosa, Isabella Tesla. Proud grandfather of Nicholas, Alexis, Victoria, Lukas, Milena, Diana and Petar. Survived by his uncle Boro and Marisa Novakovic of Argentina. He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, kumovi and other family and friends.

Ray was an active and dedicated member of St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church.

He retired from Stelco after 35 years of service and was currently working in real estate.
