passed away on Tuesday, May 15, 2001 at the Collingwood General and Marine Hospital in his 63rd year.
Beloved husband of Marilynn, Douglas will be lovingly remembered by his son Chris and his wife Susan, and his daughters Stacey an Paige Hutchison. Doug will be forever cherished in the heart of his granddaughter Samantha. Survived also by sisters Elaine and her husband Walter Borthwick and Joanne and her husband Lloyd Preston.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2001 from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. in the evening at the Fawcett Funeral Homes, Collingwood Chapel, 82 Pine Street, Collingwood. A Funeral Service will take place on Friday, May 18, 2001 at 12:00 p.m. at the All Saints’ Anglican Church, Elgin Street, Collingwood.
Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society may be made in Doug’s memory.

Beloved wife of the late Wayne MacAulay. Much loved mother of Janet (Pierre Savoie) and Barbara (Gerry Routledge). She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren; Chanel and Pia Savoie; Adam, Alanna and Jillian Routledge. Also survived by her brother John MacNaughton as well as other relatives and friends.
The celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, May 22 at 11:00 a.m. at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Sources Blvd., Dollard-des-Ormeaux, (514-685-3344).

Dear father of Roger Hoekstra and wife Betty of Abbotsford, B.C., Mrs. Helene Christopher and husband Mickey of Garrettsville, Ohio, Karen Berrisford and husband Dennis of London, Eric Hoekstra of Chatham, Ted Hoekstra and wife Elise of Chatham, step-father of Allan Crans of Edmonton, Alberta and Edna Visneskie and husband Ron of Kitchener. Dear brother of Andy and Margaret Hoekstra of Chatham, Betty and Bill Vroom of Bowmanville, Jean and Jack Hoekstra of Chatham, Edward and Janet Hoekstra of Chatham, Mary and Herman Devries of Williamsburg, Ontario, Joe and Susie Hoekstra of Chatham, Arnold and Margaret Hoekstra of Wyoming, Tina and Harry Okkema of Wallaceburg, Rusty and Bea Hoekstra of Camlachie and Liz and John Dragstra of Bowmanville. Also survived by brother-in-law Ben Sonneveld of Blenheim, fourteen grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sister Martha Sonneveld (2001) and brothers Jeep and Harry.
Mr. Hoekstra was a faithful member of the Christian Reformed Church. Friends may call at the Alexander Funeral Home, 245 Wellington Street West (519-352-2719) from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Sunday. A family Interment will be held at Maple Leaf cemetery on Monday, May 28th, 2001. Beloved mother of Lorne and his wife Kathleen, Deane and his wife Nancy, Kerry and his wife Ruth and the late Bryan (1986) and Carle (1998). Mother-in-law of Therese D'Allaire and Barbara Ferguson. Fondly remembered by her grandchildren Kevin, Shawn, Catherine, Lynda, Carol Lyn, Peter, James, Janet, Tracey, Jeremy and Karen and her 14 great-granchildren. Best friend of Judith.
A resident of Toronto since 1980, she will be sadly missed by all she met. The family thanks her dear Toronto friends for the wonderful times over the last many years and are grateful to them. Kathleen volunteered for nearly 20 years at the Palliative Care of St. Michael's Hospital.
A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, June 2, 2001 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Church (Sherbourne and Earl St.) Toronto.

Peacefully, at the age of 65, on July 14, 2001, at her home, Elinor entered into the Presence of the Lord, after a brief, but courageous battle with cancer. Beloved wife of Norman.
Loving mother to Mark and David and their wives Mary and Monica. Her darling grandchildren Alex, Matthew, Veronica and Julia will sadly miss her. Left with many fond memories are five sisters and one brother and her extended family and friends. As per Elinor's request, there will be no visitation.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 19, 2001 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 20 Idlewood Avenue (behind the corner of Fennell and Upper Ottawa). Interment at Resurrection cemetery to follow.
