passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 24, 2001, at the age of 91.
Joe always had a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye. We will dearly miss him and his amazing memories of days gone by. It's been an honour and a privilege for all of us to know such a warm, wise, and wonderful old soul.
Beloved husband of the late Agnes. Dear father of Yvonne Lebert (predeceased by son-in-law Wilfred), Gerry (Joanne) Aussant of LaSalle, and Larry Aussant of Tecumseh. Dear brother to Laura Lafreniere and Cecile Kolody, both of Windsor.
Cherished grandfather to John (Sandy), Joe (Alice), Jim (Carol) and Tom (Fatima) Lebert, Monique Arseneault, Lindsay and Heather Aussant.
Dear great grandpa to Mandi, Melissa, Blair, Matthew, Ashley, Nicole, Mitchell, Lindsay, Christopher, Rachel, and Shane. Dear friend to Sherry (John) Denomme of Windsor, Laurie Fox of Tecumseh, as well as numerous other friends and family.
Joe has been a member of the Knights of Columbus #4375 (Tecumseh) for over 50 years and 4th degree Wilfred Langlois Assembly for 30 years. He will be dearly missed by all.
Resting at The Marcotte Funeral Home, 12105 Tecumseh Rd., Tecumseh (735-2830). Visiting will be held on Monday, March 26, 2001, from 2-5 P.M. and 7-9 P.M. Parish, Knights of Columbus 3rd Degree and 4th Degree Wilfred Langlois Assembly prayers on Monday at 7:30 P.M.
The Funeral will be held on Tuesday, March 27, 2001, at 9:30 A.M., from the funeral home, then to St. Anne Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M.
Donations to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
A tree will be planted in memory of Joseph Aussant in the Janisse, Marcotte, Melady, Sutton Memorial Forest. A dedication service will be held on September 30, 2001. All are welcome.

Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday, January 26, 2002 at St. Peter's Hospital. Our beloved Mother went to be with our father Santo (Sonny) Amalfi, so that they may be entrusted to the eternal care of our Lord.
Devoted and much loved mother of Fred and Marilyn Amalfi, Cathy and Albert Riley and Rita Amalfi-Cruse. Adored Nonna of Lisette (Matt) Harris, Bernadette (Graeme) Bean, Santo (Jen) Amalfi, Lynette Monighan, Fred (Liz) Riley, Lisa (Henry) Sinichko and Alisha (Tom) Banks. Much adored Big Nonna to Skye and Luke Harris, Leyland, Christian and Zachery Bean, J.R. Monighan, Shayne and Joey Riley, Jordi and Kobe Banks. Mom was also a special Nonna to Rhonni and Rob Harris, Kathy (Gary) Bishop, Jacqui and Michael Cruse, Tyler, Meighan and Nicky. She will be deeply missed by her best friend and loving sister-in- law Lucy McSweeny and her sisters Margaret Carey, Cecilia Mercer and her brother Ace (Gae) Codispodi, sisters-in-law Betty Codispodi and Marge Codispodi. Mom was predeceased by her parents Dominic and Richetta Codispodi and Fortunato and Caterina Amalfi, her much loved sister Mary Adoranti, brothers Anthony, Joseph and Vince Codispodi, brothers-in-law Emidio Adoranti, Anthony Del Zotti, Edward McSweeny, Donald Carey, Michael Mercer and Severino and Mary Maragno. She will always be remembered by all of her nieces and nephews for her endless sense of humour.
We would like to thank all of the staff at St. Peter's Hospital, 2nd floor West who lovingly cared for our mom and comforted us.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Clifford, better known as Pete or Grumpy. Pete’s passing was sudden and peaceful. Pete was born to pioneer family, and lived here all of his life. Pete was a WWII veteran as a gunner for the Navy and this took him all around the world. After the war he had a taxi business and later went into logging, owning his own logging truck. Predeceased by his stepson David Mattin, parents Harry and Mabel Mattin, sister Bonnie Klettke and brother Ronnie Mattin. Survived by his loving wife Carol of 60 years, son Rick (Brenda) Mattin, grandchildren Tammy, Sean and Gary, great grandchildren Jordan, Austin and Logan as well as numerous Nieces, nephews and friends. The family wishes to thank the Cowichan District Hospital Emergency staff and the Hospice Society involved in Pete’s care. Family and friends are invited for an open house Celebration of Pete’s Life at the Moose Lodge, 2244 Moose Road, Duncan BC on Saturday February 7, 2009 from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. Flowers gratefully declined. Earl Warren a legendary Canadian radio personality died Saturday at the age 69 years. Last week, doctors confirmed that he had lung cancer and that it had spread to his liver. Originally from Regina, he was told by a station manager at the age of 17 years to drop his last name ”Segal” to became Earl Warren. On October 6, 2002 he signed off on his final show which was very difficult for him, commented his son Murray Segal. His son said his father was like family to his listeners. "What my father had that was unique was ... an ability to connect with people," he said. "He understood people and made people feel like family, like friends.". He leaves Slater, his partner of 16 years, and daughters Shawn Powell, Dena Maule and Blair Scott. He was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy. A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday October 22, 2002 at the Benjamin Park Memorial Chapel, 2104 Steeles Ave. W. Today's radio show will be hosted by Warren's long-time friend, Jim Paulson.

At the age of 48 years on December 22, 2001 after a courageous battle with cancer. Formerly of Tecumseh. Wife of 20 years to Bill Bennett. Loving mother to Chantelle and her husband Dan Edwards, of Essex; James Lawhead, of Windsor. Dear step-mother of Robin Mallott and husband Jim of Fingal, Sue Bennett of St. Thomas. Dear daughter of the late Ernest and Dorothy (nee Charrette). Dear “Gramma” to Mitchell and Hayley Edwards & "Step-Gramma" of Brian, Jennifer, Ashley, Bradley and Stephen. Dear sister of Geraldine Jones and husband Estil, Gerald Delisle, all of Windsor; Terry Delisle and wife Ella of Belle River; Robert Delisle and wife Judy, of Larder Lake and the late Cheryl Delisle and will be remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Judy was an employee of Allied Systems since January 1974 and had served as the Commanding Officer of 1112 R.C.A.C.C. and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 261.
Visiting on Wednesday from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Legion Service followed by a Cadet Service Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 27th 2001 at 10:30 a.m. at The Marcotte Funeral Home & Chapel, 12105 Tecumseh Road, Tecumseh (519-735-2830) Father Stan Fraser Officiating. A Cremation will follow with an Interment of the cremated remains at Victoria Memorial Gardens.

Peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital, with the caring staff of Kidd 7, on Monday February 26, 2001, Peter Bianiek in his 78th year.
Devoted husband of Mary Smialek for 47 years. Predeceased by his infant daughter Catherine.
Will be sadly missed by sister Maria (George Cichosz), there sons Peter and Paul and their families in Gdansk, Poland. Also survived by three sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews in the Kitchener-Waterloo area.
Piotr was born in Poland, immigrated to Canada in 1949, was employed at Marsland Engineering, Kitchener for 25 years prior to moving to Kingston in 1983, employed at OHIP until his retirement in 1988. Peter was an active member of Sacred Heart Church Kitchener, including the Polish Choir, Credit Union, Youth Organization and the St. Joseph’s/ St. John’s Society. He was a very active participant in the Kitchener and Kingston Polish Communities. Member of Branch 9, Royal Canadian Legion. He truly enjoyed 10 years with the Kingston Jubilate singers.
Friends will be received at the Central Chapel of the Gordon F. Tompkins Funeral Homes, 49 Colborne St. (at Clergy) ( 613-546-5454) on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 2 p.m. at St. Mary’s Catherdral Mnsgr. Don Clement and Rev. Fr. Julian Kaczowka officiating. Inurnment in Kitchener. Following the Mass, there will be a reception in the Trillium Room at the Township Chapel (435 Davis Drive).

Suddenly, after a heart attack at Toronto East General Hospital on Tuesday, January 15, 2002.
Marian, in her 63rd year, dearly loved wife of Ken Bingham. Loving mother of Robyn and Douglas. Marian will be missed by her brothers William and his wife Carol, Robert and his wife Linda and her sister Margaret and her husband David Pendlebury, her brother-in-law Neil Bingham and his wife Cecile and her mother-in-law, Dorothy Bingham. Dear aunt of 12 nieces and nephews .
Mrs. Bingham was an elementary school teacher with the Toronto Board of Education for many years.
Friends will be received at the SHERRIN FUNERAL HOME, 873 Kingston Road, (east of Victoria Park Ave.), Toronto 416-698-2861 on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A service to celebrate Marian’s life will be held in the chapel on Friday, January 18, 2002 at 11 o’clock.
