Dear husband of June (Rohrer). Beloved father of Barbara Cole, David Cole and his wife Linda, Patti Cole, Anne Norman and her husband, David, all of London, Bruce Cole and his wife, Janie of Listowel.
Loving Grandpa of Cole Tavener, Adam, Matthew and Jordan Cole, Jeffrey Cole, Lesley-Anne and Susan Norman, all of London, Lindsay and Sarah Cole of Listowel. Dear Uncle of Ted and Joanne Thomson of Oshawa, Joe and Elaine Thomson and Betty Klein and Claire Calderozzi, all of London. Also survived by several great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents and by his sisters Lucy and Rose.
Syd was born in Forest Gate, London, England, December 9, 1920, and lived in London, Ontario, from age three.
Syd served with the Canadian Army from 1942 to 1947. Syd then served with the London Police Force from 1947 to 1985 as Constable and Director of Transport.
Visitation will be held in the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Rd. N. (2 blocks north of Oxford St.), on Sunday from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00- 9:00 p.m. where the funeral service will be conducted on Monday, October 2nd, 2000 at 1:30 p.m. Interment , Mount Pleasant cemetery. Please join us in celebration in remembrance of Syd’s life.

On Wednesday January 2, 2002 peacefully in her sleep at the St. Catharines General Hospital. Luisa Mary Colonna (nee D’Onofrio) of St. Catharines in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Serafino Colonna (1990). Loving mother of Anna Maria Ranalli and her husband Umberto of Fort Lauderdale FL and Joseph Colonna and his wife Barbara of St. Catharines. Dear grandmother of Laura, Mark and Gabriele. Great grandmother of Melissa, Megan and Madisson. Luisa had a unique passion for life, she was a member of the C.W.L. for over 50 years and had a remarkable ability to make everyone she met feel like family. This was only surpassed by her will and desire for life, as she courageously survived Breast Cancer for over 40 years and Diabetes for over 35 years.
Family will receive friends at the Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel, 39 Court Street on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. and Friday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at The Cathedral of St. Catherine of Alexandria on Saturday January 5, 2002 at ten o’clock. Rite of Committal to follow at Victoria Lawn cemetery. Vigil prayers 7:30 p.m. Friday. In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.

Dearly loved mother of Dale and his wife Judith of Squamish B.C. and Maida and her husband Tom Goff of Burlington. Predeceased by her brother Elmer and sisters Marion and Leona. Loved by her many grandchildren and great - grandchildren.
Mrs. Cooke has had a long time association with the Church of the Ascension (Hamilton) and was an active member of both the Hamilton Golf and Country Club and the Thistle Club of Hamilton as well as the I.O.D.E.

CRAMP, Joseph Herbert - Joseph Herbert Cramp in his 87th year. After a hard struggle to survive, the Lord decided it was time for him to rest in peace, where he will be joined in Heaven with his first wife Ethel and his dearest daughter Wendy. Loving husband and best friend for 31 years to Isabel. Beloved father of Scott and his wife Cheri, and granddaughter Sasha. Cherished grandfather of Kelly and Mike, great granddaughter Emily, also grandfather of Christopher, Joanne and great grandchildren Alyssa and Stephanie. Sadly missed by son-in-law Brian and his wife Gail. Also sadly missed by Aileen a very special niece, who was like a daughter to him, also her husband Stephen and numerous other nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Joseph was a veteran of the Second World War, where he survived 31 missions in the Air Force as a Pilot Officer and Air Gunner. I can’t praise him enough for his quiet manner and heroics in time of war and his brave silent way of struggling with his crosses that he had to bear through his struggle to survive in his world on the homefront. Beloved wife of the late Walter Peter Kindree (1964) and the late Gordon Crockford (1985). Loving mother of Catherine and Paul, Walter and Darlene all of London. Harold and Mary of Iona Station. John and Rebecca of Granton. Ross and Cheryl of Guelph. Survived by one brother Eddie Topp of Scotland, 14 grandchildren and 14 great grand-children. Predeceased by one sister Elizabeth Topp (1989).
