William (Bill) Johnson
July 13, 1926 - October 07, 2001

Peacefully at Chateau Gardens on October 7, 2001. William (Bill) Johnson in his 76th year. Beloved husband of the late Eileen Johnson (Murray) (1967), and the late Lillian Johnson (Kelsey) (1998). Loving father of Michael Woodhall and step-father of Diane Lavallee, Dennis Topping and Ernie Eady. Also survived by brothers Bob, George, Raymond, Stanley and sisters Gerty, Mary Pauline and Ruthann. He will be fondly remembered by three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Sadly missed by several nieces, nephews and many friends.

There will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held on October 20th, 2001 at 2 p.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Pauline Ruth Holmes

Pauline Ruth Holmes in her 86th year passed away peacefully at Extendicare London on Tuesday, November 6, 2001. Survived by her loving husband of 60 years, John Frederick Holmes. Dear mother of Brian and his wife Gail, grandmother of Erin and Kellie. She will be sadly missed by her sister Marjorie and her husband Len Cobban of Woodstock and her sister-in-laws Willa Holmes and Mildred Armstrong of London. She is survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Family will receive friends and relatives at Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel, 1997 Dundas Street East (at Wavell) for visitation from 4-9 p.m. Thursday, November 8, 2001. A funeral Service will be conducted in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. on Friday November 9, 2001 followed by a reception in the Talbot Lounge of the Chapel. Interment at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Madeline E. Hill

Peacefully at University Hospital, on Tuesday October 30, 2001 Madeline E. Hill in her 81st year. Beloved wife and best friend of Bill Hill for 60 years.

Loving mother of Marilyn Alexander (Rob), Carolyn Cloutier (Bob), Fred Hill (Patti). Dear grandma of Kelly Murphy (Danny), Jeremy Cloutier (Cassandra), Danielle Hughes (Tommy-Joe), Lyndsay Warrington (Chris), Jodi Hill (Johnny) and 5 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Dorothy, Bruce, Ken, Bob Rutledge and predeceased by Harold.

Friends will be received at Memorial Funeral Home (1559 Fanshawe Park Road East London) for visitation on Thursday from 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday November 2, 2001 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Bill McAuslan officiating.

Alexander John Herrick

At University Hospital, London on September 27, 2001, Alexander John Herrick born on March 9, 1924 at Copper Cliff, Ontario, in his 78th year. Beloved husband of Joyce (Jeffery) for 52 years. Sadly missed by sons Bruce and his wife Cheryl of St. Catharines and Ian and his wife Maureen of London. Loving grandfather of Kelly, Douglas, Jonathan, Rachel, Lisa, Graham and great-grandson Chase. Also survived by his sister Olive Byng and her husband Ted of Port Colbourne.

Alex was employed as a tool and die make at TRW for 32 years, retiring in 1980. He was a leader in the Boy Scout movement for 30 years, served in the Canadian Army during WW II, and was a member at Queen Street Baptist Church. He was keenly interested in nature, an avid photographer, and enjoyed gardening.

Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at Pleasantview cemetery , St. Catharines (Highway #20, Fonthill) for Funeral Services Tuesday October 2nd, 2001 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Parkinson Foundation or the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family. Peacefully passed away on Saturday June 9th, 2001 at Meadow Park Nursing Home in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of Grace Kinch (nee Dennett), for 53 years.

Loving father of Carolyn (Robert) de Frèìtas, Donna (Dennis) Gerhart, Douglas Bruce Kinch and the late David William Kinch (1990). Loved father-in-law of Andy Varricchio. Cherished grandfather of Kimberly, Robert Jr., Tonia, Laura, Andrea, Tayler and 1 great-granddaughter Mia. Dear brother of Ruth McNeil, Marion (George) Dykhuis and the late Douglas Kinch (1989) and sister-in-law Aima Kinch. Cremation.

Family will receive friends and relatives at the Forest Lawn Chapel 1997 Dundas Street East, London for a Memorial Service at 2 p.m. Wednesday to celebrate Larry’s life. Interment Forest Lawn cemetery.

Survived by her husband of 66 years Geoffrey, and two daughters Connie Pangman (John) and Christine Hayden. Grandmother of Jennifer Pangman, Alex Pangman, Deb Hayden and her husband Chris Payne, Scott Hayden, Cathy Hayden and her partner Sean Smyth. Great-grandmother of Michael Payne. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends and relatives at Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel, 1997 Dundas Street East (at Wavell), London, for a memorial service on Tuesday, February 15, 2005 at 7 pm.
