Peacefully after a brief illness, at the Helen Henderson Care Centre, on Wednesday, December 26, 2001. Predeceased by her husband Harold “Bus” Johnson. Left to appreciate her well lived and loving life are her children: Gail Johnson (Michael Bourdeau), Garth Johnson (Joanne), Moonyene Boyd (Ken) and Madrene Boyle (David); her grandchildren: Nicholas Johnson, Matthew Johnson, Alex Boyd, Courtney Boyd, Jamie Boyle and Kevin Boyle. Dear sister of Gordon Cotton and predeceased by her brother Bert.

Friends will be received at the Township Chapel of the Gordon F. Tompkins Funeral Homes, 435 Davis Drive (Waterloo Village) on Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Funeral Service in Our Chapel on Friday December 28, 2001 at 1:00 p.m. followed by cremation. For those wishing, memorial donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by her family. The family extend to the Staff of the Helen Henderson Care Centre their appreciation for all the wonderful caring support to our Mother.

Retired Senior Staff Sergeant Kingston Police Department It is with great sadness that the family of Garnet McKenna announces his sudden passing in Florida on March 18, 2005. It is with loving, understanding hearts that we set him free to join his parents Marion and Hugo, in heaven. Garnet leaves behind the greatest joy of his life, his family - Pat (Deodato) his love of 44 years, his daughters: Joanne and her husband Robert Blommestyn, Sandra and her husband Michael Tomlin, Karen and her husband Rob Callery and Tracy and her husband James Selkirk. He will always be the guardian angel of his most precious possessions, his beloved grandchildren : Marty, Matt, Randi, Amanda, Ashley, Jordan, Bryanna, Kylie, Ben, Callum and Olivia. He also leaves his beloved brothers and sisters Peter and Liette McKenna, Mary Lynn and Mark Jefferies, Kathy and Gary Whitley, Alice and Jamie Fraser and Terry and Donna McKenna; his nieces and nephews; his wonderful aunts and uncles and his sisters and brothers-in-law of the Deodato Family. Garnet touched the lives of countless people and will be greatly missed by his lifelong friends. He died the way he lived his life - with amazing dignity. Eddie predeceased by his parents Willie and Evangeline (Roux) Martineau,his brothers Maurice, Roger, Fernand, O'Nil, Real, and his sisters Flore, Lorette and Irene. Dearly missed by his Kingston family: Don, Nancy, Mark, Elyse and Katrina Thompson. Will be lovingly remembered by her children Paul (Cindy), Sharon (Dan) and grandchildren Nathaniel and Lukas.Also missed by special friend Sharron Kennedy. Cherished by her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Tom passed away peacefully in Kingston, Ontario, on January 29, 2005, after a long life of caring, generosity and independence, and a short but intense struggle with age. He was born in Montreal, where he lived until 1995. He worked for many years at General Latex and Chemicals of Canada (Ltd), and retired as Vice-President. He served in the RCAF and RAF as a Flight Lieutenant during World War II. Tom was the son of Eliza Ann Bray and Tom Coward Kirby, both originally of London, England. He is survived by his sons John and Peter, their wives Marlo and Mary Lou, and grandchildren Robert and Maaike. Tom was predeceased by his wife Ida May Laferme, his brother Percy, and his sister Lilian. The family would like to thank the staff of Kingston General Hospital and especially those of Trillium Ridge Nursing Home for their care, assistance and compassion. At Tom's request, there will be no funeral service, and his urn will be interred in the family burial plot in Mount Royal cemetery , Montreal. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Kingston General Hospital Foundation, the Humane Society or the Nature Conservancy of Canada. In the care of Gordon F.
