Diane Wilburn (née Dumouchelle)

October 17, 1955 - May 29, 2004

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Diane, on May 29, 2004 at the age of 48. Beloved wife of Charles. Loving mother of Jerome and wife Christie, and Jennifer and Marco Chapman. Cherished gramma of Mackenzie, Paige and Brooke Wilburn. Loving daughter of Pauline and the late Paul Dumouchelle (2002) and daughter -in-law of Margaret and the late Jerry Hescott. Dear sister of Katherine and Michael LaButte, Michael Dumouchelle and fiancée Doreen McDonald, Robert and Nancy Dumouchelle, Susan and Michael Thomas, and Nancy and Guy Taylor, all of Windsor. Dear sister-in-law of Thomas and Nancy Wilburn, Gail and Mark Lenehan, Mary and Marc Cipparone, Bobbi Wilburn, Phillip and Dana Wilburn, of Florida, Veronica and Jeff Jennings, of Florida, and Micheal and Kathy Hescott, of Ohio. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Diane was an employee of G.M. and was a member of the C.A.W. Local 1973. Visiting Monday, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday 2:00 to 5:00, and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Prayers Tuesday at 7:30 pm. The Funeral will be held on Wednesday, June 2, 2004 at 10:45 a.m. from The Marcotte Funeral Home and Chapel, 12105 Tecumseh Rd., Tecumseh (735-2830) to the Church of the Atonement for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. Fr. Mike Graham will be the celebrant. Interment at Heavenly Rest cemetery. A tree will be planted in memory of Diane Wilburn in the Marcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held on September 26, 2004. All are welcome.

Hannah Nancy White (née Madden)

August 24, 1922 - March 25, 2004

White, Nancy (nee Madden) 81 years, suddenly, on March 25, 2004 at the WRHC-Metropolitan Campus. Late of Tecumseh. Beloved wife of Ernest. Loving mother of Tim and wife Karen Allick, of Utica, Mich.; Bill Allick, of Windsor. Loving step-mother of Frances Soda, of Windsor; Bill and wife Tina White, of New York; Marilyn and husband Greg Element, of Tecumseh. Daughter of the late Joseph and Hannah Madden. Adored grandma of 20 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson. Dearest sister of Betty Carroll (the late Roy), of Windsor; Fred Madden (the late Vera) of Kingston; and predeceased by Margaret Madden, Edith Greenall and Harry Greenall. and will be remembered by many nieces and nephews. Nancy was a devoted employee of Burrough's Adding Machines. She loved dancing with her husband on Saturday afternoons and was an avid gardener. Visiting Saturday, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and also from 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 28th at the Marcotte Funeral Home and Chapel, 12105 Tecumseh Rd., Tecumseh (735-2830) until the time of the Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Kevin George officiating. Cremation. As your expression of sympathy, a donation to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre or to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.

Raymond Joseph Lauzon

August 19, 1920 - March 22, 2004

83 years, peacefully on March 22, 2004. Late of Windsor. Loving companion of Lillian MacLaren. Beloved husband of the late Patricia (nee Kenny, 1995). Loving father of Kathy and husband Fred Sequin, of Canton, Mich.; Thomas, of Tecumseh. Dear grandpa of Nicole and husband Chuck Bullough, Ryan Sequin and Jason Lauzon. Dear great-grandfather of MacKenzie Sequin and Chloe Bullough. Dear brother of Rene and wife Mary, Armand and wife Joan, Ernest and wife Claire, Cecile Stratton and husband the late John, and the late Robert (1998) and wife Linda. Dear brother-in-law of Kay Napier (her late husband Pat) and the late Ivy and Joseph Kenny. Survived by many loving nieces and nephews and he will be sadly missed by his faithfull buddy 'Caille'. Ray served with distinction in the RCAF having gone overseas in early 1940 with #1 Fighter Squadron which was the only squadron to go over as a unit. Raymond participated in the Battle of Britain. He was a Past Grand Knight of Council 1453 Knights of Columbus, a former District Deputy, was instrumental in the forming of Bishop Kidd Council #4924 and was a member of the Rt. Rev. Wilfrid J. Langlois Assembly #1789 K. of C. Ray was Past President of the Catholic Family Service Bureau, Past President of the Catholic Charities of Windsor, Past President of the Windsor St. Clair Rotary Club, Past President of the St. Rose Ushers' Club and was a life member of the International Order of Alhambra Guzera Caravan #72 and had many other interests that he enjoyed. Family and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, March 25, 2004 for a Memorial Mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Rose de Lima Church, 891 St. Rose Avenue. Fr. Dino Salvador will be the celebrant. A family committal will take place at Heavenly Rest cemetery. As your expression of symapthy, a donation to the Frank Chauvin Orphanage, 892 St. Mary's Blvd., Windsor N8S 2T9 or to the Children's Aid Society, 1671 Riverside Dr. E. Windsor N8Y 1A1 would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Raymond Lauzon in the Marcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held on September 26, 2004. All are welcome. Arrangements were entusted to the Marcotte Funeral Home, Tecumseh, 735-2830.

H. Glenn MacDonald

May 30, 1918 - July 19, 2004

passed away peacefully Monday. July 19, 2004 at Windsor Regional Hospital. Beloved husband of 40 years to Lorraine (Norton). Glenn's adventure began May 30, 1918 in London, Ontario where he was born to the late Dr. William and Caroline (Banks). Adored father of Heather , Howard, Maggie (Roy), Jean (2000), Dr. Michael (Chantalle), Steven "Andy" (Tina). Proud grandfather to Shelley, Kim, Glenn, Matthew, Lisa, Gail, Lauren, Colin, Keifer, Mary Elise and Mason. Dear great grandfather to Kerri, Courtney, Sandi, Kalli-Lee, Isabella and Joshua. Loved brother of Velda (Hugh) Andrew, Ruth Papp, Donna Brereton and Don (Joan). Brother-in-law to Ken and Ann Norton. Predeceased by sisters Kathleen, Jean Bowering, brothers Howard, Neil, Norman and Lloyd.

Glenn led an incredible life that was influenced by boy-hood hero Col. Billy Bishop. The dream of flying a plane was realized in 1938 after a 12 day trip working on a cattle ship from Montreal to Glasgow. After a year as a pilot in the R.A.F. adventure was calling again and when the Mounted Division of the British South Africa Police were recruiting in London. Glenn was sent to Salisbury, Rhodesia and during the early stages of WWII he found himself in North Africa. After 21 years he retired from the BSAP as Deputy Chief Inspector. Glenn returned to Canada in 1963 and began a second career at 46 that saw him retire as supervisor of Probation and Aftercare for the province of Ontario. Glenn was an exceptionally proud and loyal man who will be missed.

As per his request cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will take place at The Marcotte Funeral Home and Chapel 12105 Tecumseh Road, Tecumseh, (735-2830) on Monday, July 26, 2004 at 10:30 a.m. with Fr. Ken Jaggs officiating. Memorial donations to the CNIB or Hospice of Windsor would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Glenn MacDonald in the Marcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held on September 26, 2004. All are welcome.

Mary Hajdu (née Peter)

June 06, 1928 - July 25, 2004

76 years, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on July 25, 2004. Beloved wife of 42 years to the late Frank (1987). Loving mother of Robert and wife Jeanine, Frank and wife Lynn, Richard and wife Jane, Tammy and husband Fred Stibbard. Dear grandmother to 8 grandchildren. Dear sister to Mike Peter and wife Gail and Steve Peter. Sister-in-law to Violet and husband Steve Metterle, Elizabeth and husband Philip Marcotte. Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. Mary was an avid gardener and card player who enjoyed all her card playing friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2-5 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Marcotte Funeral Home & Chapel 12105 Tecumseh Road, Tecumseh (735-2830) on Wednesday, July 28, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Heavenly Rest cemetery. In kindness memorial donations to the A.L.S. Society of (Windsor) Essex County would be appreciated by the family. A tree will be planted in memory of Mary Hajdu and Frank Hajdu in the Marcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held on September 26, 2004. All are welcome.
