Celsa ROSA

Peacefully at Heritage Green Nursing Home on Tuesday, May 13, 2003. With much courage and dignity, Celsa, in her 79th year, left us to join her beloved Angelo. Dearly loved mother of Sergio, Rosalia and her husband Conrad. Cherished grandmother to Evan, Ben, Sarah and Robyn. She will be sadly missed by her extended family in Canada, U.S.A. and Italy. Her laughter and smile will stay with all who knew her. A special thanks to all her caregivers over the past 12 years. Visitation at the FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton Street East (near James) on Thursday from 5-8 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place in the funeral home chapel on Friday at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre cemetery. Memorial donations to the Huntington Society of Canada would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.

Pietro SPEZIALE

Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, at the Hamilton General Hospital, on Monday, May 12, 2003, in his 84th year. Beloved husband of the late Maria. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Angela and the late Larry Graham, Nancy and Richard Goddard, Charles Speziale, and the late Josephine Grayling. Loving Nonno of Shayne; David and Maria; Alessandra; Andrew. Proud great-grandfather of three great-grand- children. Dear brother of Adelina Capula, Maria Valentino, Carmelina Baracco, and the late Concentina Mattina. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Pietro was a member of the Racalmuto Club of Hamilton, and was one of the first family members to immigrate from Racalmuto, Sicily to Hamilton in 1939 to start a new life. He helped and supported many relatives and friends to immigrate to Hamilton. Pietro will be fondly remembered as an honest, loving man who believed in the simple life, and as a dedicated, hardworking provider for his family. Many thanks to the Doctors and staff of 8 South and 6 South. Visitation at the FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton Street East (near James) on Monday from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers Tuesday at 8 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place at All Souls Church on Wednesday at 10 a.m. Interment to follow and Holy Sepulchre cemetery.

Moss, Douglas Arthur Retired TD bank manager and World War II D-Day veteran with 14th Field Regiment RCA passed away peacefully at Belmont Long Term Care Facility in Belleville on Sunday, February 29, 2004 in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Marjorie Jean Moss (nee Whillans). Loving father of Susan Margaret Moss of Ottawa, Judy Moss (Bishop) of Cobble Hill B.C. and Maureen Stoskopf of Milton ON. Loved by grandchildren Karen and Andrea Stoskopf. Predeceased by his brother David Moss of Toronto and parents Eldrin and Margaret Moss of Paris ON. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and friends. Friends are invited to call at the Burke Funeral Home (968-6968) 150 Church St., Belleville from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday, March 4. Will be dearly missed by her loving parents Stephanie and Jamieson Lloyd; her big sister Sydney; grandparents Marg and Bill Lloyd and Dave and Karen Cunningham. Loved by great-grandparents John and Anita Dell, Byng and Audrey Cunningham and Bill Lloyd. Mr. William Graham McCollum, aged 86 years, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 7, 2004 at St. Joseph's Care Group. William was born in Fort William on January 13, 1918 and was raised and educated there. He enjoyed rowing, golf and hockey and coached the rowing club for years. William was very active in the Moose Lodge and was a member of the Fort William Curling Club. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 55 years, Frances (McClelland), his sister Eveline of Cambridge, brother-in-law Allan (Marie) of Thunder Bay, nephews Bob Everett, Lorne, Wayne and Richard and numerous other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Walter and Ethel McCollum, sisters Lottie, Anne, Ethel and Mary, two brothers Lorne and Lloyd. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, March 21, 2004 from 2 - 5 p.m. at Jenkens Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre, 226 S. Syndicate Avenue. A memorial service for Mr. William McCollum will be held in the chapel of Jenkens Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre on Monday, March 22, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place at a later date.
