McLeod, Aubrey Lincoln - Retired Managing Director of the Jamaica International Insurance Company (JIIC) & formerly of the Insurance Company of Jamaica, West Indies General Insurance Company and Manton & Hart Insurance Company, died peacefully at home in Oakville, Ontario on Friday February 20, 2004, after a long illness. He leaves his wife Beverley, daughters Bridgit, Natalie and Helena. Sons-in-law Ronald Parchment & Roger Pinnock, grand-daughters Renee & Emily. He is survived by sisters Doreen & Grace and their families, other relatives and friends. Funeral service on Thursday February 26, 2004 at 10:00 am at St. Dominic's Catholic Church, 2415 Rebecca Street, Oakville. Preceded by visitation at 9:30 am at the church and followed by reception in the church hall. In lieu of flowers, donations accepted for the Jamaican Cancer Society, the Canadian Cancer Society or St. Dominic's Catholic Church.

MONTANA, Frank Frederick - In his 18th year, peacefully passed away at his home on Baker St. in Hamilton, with his sister Jessica Montana, Aunt Cindy, Uncle Terry & cousin Jeremiah McCormack on Tues., Jan. 20/04 in the early morning hours. Treasured son of Frank James Montana and much loved grandson of Frank & the late Ruby (nee Bardy) Montana. Loving son of Angela Hellendy and affectionate brother to Daniel, Zachary, Catharine, Ryan & Cheyenne; grandparents Stella & George Wicks. Cherished nephew of Bonnie & John Farnham, adored cousin of Lyndsay, Jonee, Meagan, Sarah, husband Corey & daughter Brianna. Also survived by his devoted girlfriend Tara Tremeer. Gareth retired from St. Clair College and had many years to share his love of life and learning with colleagues and students as both an administrator and professor. Content in knowing his God and Saviour, Jesus Christ, Arie Johannes Klein, in his 84th year, graduated to eternal life on January 19th, 2004 at St. Peter's Hospital. Loving him throughout this final battle were his wife of 60 years, Johanna (Minnaar), children Jerry Klein, Nell and Fred Owen and John and Janet Klein, along with ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his daughter Ria (1963) and brother Jan (1999). Remembering his life are brother Gerard Klein and numerous relatives in the Netherlands.
Special thanks to all friends and nursing personnel at St. Elizabeth Villa and St. Peter's Hospital.

VANNELLI, Maria Christina (nee DeLuca) A gentle heart stopped beating at Southwood Lakes Extendicare on Tuesday, January 13, 2004. Born Dec. 1925 in Frosinone, Italy, Christina immigrated to Canada with her mother, the late Giuseppa DeLuca (nee Iaconelli – 1975) and her two older brothers Orland DeLuca and the late Peter DeLuca (1939), to join their father, the late Giuseppe DeLuca (1977) in Amherstburg, Ontario. Christina was the loving and cherished mother of 43 years of the late Antonio Vannelli (2000) and the devoted mother and mother-in-law of Dr. Anthony Vannelli and his wife Dr. Kelly Regan (London), and Anna Vannelli-Iannetta and her husband Pasquale Iannetta (Windsor). She was the much loved Nonna and Grandma of Benjamin, Adam and Daniel Iannetta, and Kathleen, Claire and Joseph Vannelli. Christina is also survived by her treasured brothers and sister Orland DeLuca and wife Elizabeth, Elizabeth Federico and her late husband Antonio (1998), and Armando DeLuca and wife Bianca. Christina was also a special and loving older sister to her late baby brother Riccardo DeLuca (1941). Christina will also be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Christina was always a kind and gentle soul who treasured and loved life and was truly devoted to her family and her faith in God.
